Japanese Name: Bunshin no Jutsu

Description: The Bunshin no Jutsu creates illusory duplicates of the user. It is impossible to tell which is the real ninja and which are illusions; clones generated by this technique, however, cannot attack anything as they are not physical beings. The Bunshin no Jutsu is one of the most basic ninja techniques and mastering it is required in order for one to graduate from Leaf Village's academy, and presumably any academy, and become a Genin.

Description: This jutsu uses chakra to cover the user with a thin, but dense, layer of protective sand. While a good defense, it puts an unignorable burden on the user's stamina, both through chakra absorption and the fact that the sand makes them heavier and hampers their movement.

Japanese Name: Suna no Tate
English Name: Shield of Sand
Used By:Gaara
Description: Regardless of their own will, this jutsu automatically surrounds and protects the body and surounding area of the person it was performed on. Capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and projectiles, this Sand Shield is stronger than steel. Though one (and perhaps the only) way it can be defeated is with extremely high speed attacks, all other attacks are rendered useless.

English Name: Mind-Body Switch Technique

Description: This Jutsu allows the user to enter a target's mind, taking control of their body and senses. Normally a spying Jutsu, it can also be used in battle although with many drawbacks. The spiritual energy travels very slowly making it easy to dodge; If this happens, the user's body will be left as an empty vessel for a few minutes, leaving it wide open to attack- and even if the Jutsu does work, any damage that is caused to the target will also be inflicted upon the user's original body. This Jutsu can only be maintained for about five minutes before the user is forced to retract their spiritual energy back to their original body.

English Name: One-Thousand Years of Death

Description: A very simple Taijutsu technique with a very over-dramatised name. Forcefully plunges the user's fingers into the vicinity of the victim's rectal regions. Sakura dubbed it the "Super Powerful a**-Poke". However, Naruto figured out the true meaning of the jutsu: it was mainly used with a pointed object (usually a kunai), in order to attack the blindspot of the enemy.

Japanese Name: Oiroke no Jutsu
English Name: Sexy Technique
Used By: Uzumaki Naruto, Konohamaru
Description: This is simply a Henge used to transform the user into a beautiful, nude woman; if the user is male, the woman's appearance is a beautiful, female version of his appearance. Naruto uses it to drive his instructors to distraction, sometimes leading to an exaggerated nosebleed by the victim, and it is indeed annoyingly effective.

Description: A basic jutsu taught at the Ninja academy. When a ninja is tied with rope, he can undo the knots and escape using this technique.

Description: Like the Shadow Clone, the Water Clone is a physical body that can cause damage, but disappears upon receiving a direct hit.

Description: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu is a simple Genjutsu which changes the appearance of a nearby object.

Japanese Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu
English Name: Marionette Technique
Used By: Kankuro
Description: The user controls a doll using their chakra. Just like a marionette, Chakra extends from the user's fingers to move the puppet which can be small, life size or even bigger. This skill is often used in co-ordination with the Body Substitute Technique, so the user can quickly replace their body with the puppet. Another useful quality of this skill is the fact that the puppet can take the form of another person, object, or, more commonly, the form of the user.

Description: A simple yet very effective technique. Covers the area of your opponents with a thick sheet of mist, crippling their senses and creating an opening for a more powerful attack

Japanese Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu
English Name: Substitution Technique
Used By:
Description: The user quickly replaces themselves with another object, such as a plant or an animal. This usually confuses the attacker and leaves them open to a counter-attack. A fairly common Jutsu, it is one of the basic Jutsu a Ninja must learn before graduating to the Genin level.

Description: This jutsu is where one uses a cloak or piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, interpreting oneself invisible.

Japanese Name: Kagemane no Jutsu
English Name: Shadow Bind Technique
Used By: Nara Shikamaru
Description: The user's shadow is extended to the opponent's shadow, combining them. This puts the attacker in control of the target's movements- the target is forced to make any movement the user makes. It is an extremely versatile technique- given enough talent, the shadow can contract and change shape, and even get ahold of several targets at once. The shadow can also be connected with other inanimate objects so it can be extended. The Jutsu does have a time limit, however, which is roughly 5 minutes.

Description: This technique consists of throwing two shuriken, one normally and the other hiding in the first one's shadow. The target focuses on the first one and is often hit by the second.

Description: The user of this jutsu can extend his shadow and create multiple tendrils to attack various targets.

Description: A very common and basic skill, it gives the user the appearance of another person or object. Mastering it is required to graduate from the ninja academy of Leaf Village (And presumably all other academies).

Japanese Name: Harem no Jutsu
English Name: Massive Sexy Technique
Used By: Uzumaki Naruto
Description: Developed by Uzumaki Naruto. Both Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, this jutsu combines Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and Sexy no Jutsu to create a legion of beautiful naked women lavishing attention on the victim, often causing male victims nosebleeds so severe that they are knocked out (due to a combination of Newton's third law of motion and cartoon logic), not to mention severe shell-shock. This jutsu is yet to be defeated.

English Name: Poison Extraction Technique

Description: As the name implies, this is a technique that extracts the poison out of a dart wound pr a poison-tipped kunai.

CHUNIN LEVEL

Japanese Name: Zankuukyokuha
English Name: Ultimate Air Slicing Blast
Used By:
Description: A Jutsu which allows the user to freely control supersonic sound waves and air pressure with a device implanted into one or both of their arms. The blasts are powerful enough to destroy rock. This version uses a lot more chakra than the regular Air Slicing Blast and is more powerful.

English Name: Uzumaki Naruto Two Thousand Barrage
Used By: Uzumaki Naruto
Description: Basically the Uzumaki Naruto Rendan (Uzumaki Naruto Combo) performed with 1,999 Kage Bunshin (Shadow Dopplegangers) plus himself.

Japanese Name: Ura Renge
English Name: Extreme Lotus
Used By: Rock Lee
Description: This advanced, more destructive version of the Renge requires the opening of at least the Third Gate (Life Gate), with a correspondingly higher cost to the user. Once the third gate is open, the user can then use Ura Renge by launching the target into the air and hitting them with one arm and foot, sending the target crashing into the ground, typically killing them. When Rock Lee used this move, he also opened the Fourth and Fifth Gates to grant him extra strength and speed, however, this is not required to perform Ura Renge.

Description: This is basically just a kick down from the air, where Tsunade uses her marvellous strength to create a crater.

Description: One is able to view different areas through a crystal ball.

Japanese Name: Suiton: Souja Sousai no Jutsu
English Name: Water Element: Water Prison Technique
Used By: Momochi Zabuza
Description: A move used to trap the victim inside a virtually inescapable prison of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one arm inside the bubble at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This Jutsu cannot be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it.

English Name: Drunken Fist

Description: An unusual style of taijutsu combat where the user takes in enough alcohol to become intoxicated (hence the name), causing them to become unpredictable and highly dangerous. Suiken is not a fighting style that one can learn or train in, nor is it a bloodline limit, but more of a natural talent that one is born with. By taking even a sip of alcohol, Lee goes berserk and it takes the force of his instructor and teamates to stop him.

Japanese Name: Shikon no Jutsu
English Name: Dead Soul Technique

Description: With this Jutsu the user can make the dead seem lifelike, allowing dead bodies to move around as a diversion or decoy. This skill causes the dead bodies' hearts to beat, allowing the user to control them for a few minutes.

English Name: Quicksand Avalanche

Description: This technique creates and smothers the enemy in an obscene amount of sand. It sucks the enemy down into its depths and is usually followed by a finishing technique.

Description: The Sound ninja Jirōbō has several Taijutsu attacks in his arsenal. These include HouShou (Demolishing Palm), a palm strike to the chest which is capable of knocking an opponent back approximately 30-40 feet. TokKen (Shoulder Thrust), a charging strike with his shoulder. ShouShitsu (Rising Knee) a hard uppercutting knee strike. ShouGekiShou (Rising Palm Attack), a hard thrusting palm attack that can send his opponent flying. AtsuShou (Pressure Palm), a powerful driving palm thrust. And finally GanGeki (Boulder Attack), another powerful fist strike

Description: Nehan Shōja no Jutsu is a Genjutsu that allows the caster to place a large body of people into a unconscious state. The target can avoid the spell by forming and using the dispel skill.

Japanese Name: Nan no Kaizo
English Name: Soft Physique Modification
Used By: Tsurugi Misumi, Orochimaru
Description: Originally developed for spying activities, this technique can be done after some surgery and actual body modification. The user can then stretch and twist any parts of their body at any angle, elongating and allowing themselves to coil around their opponent, surprising them. This can also be used to make the user's body more malleable and snakelike.

English Name: Demonic Flute: Dream Sound Chain

Description: The recipient will feel like they are tied with numerous wires, restricting their movement. Then, their flesh will begin to melt away from their bones, causing great pain and horror to the person receiving the jutsu. The user must be playing the flute the entire time the Jutsu is being used.

Japanese Name: Magen: Jubaku Satsu
English Name: Demonic Illusion: Tree Bind Death
Used By: Yūhi Kurenai
Description: With this jutsu, Kurenai can make herself disappear so she can approach her target unnoticed. Once near her target, a tree will grow at their feet and its branches will bind him so they are unable to move. Once the target believes they are captured, Kurenai will appear from above the tree and stab the target with a kunai.

Description: This Jutsu is mainly a set-up one, and consists of kicking the opponent high into the air, thus leaving them vulnerable to a subsequent more powerful attack (usually Kage Buyō, Shadow of the Dancing Leaf).

Description: Using his quickness and agility, Lee performs a spinning kick to sweep his opponent off their feet.

Japanese Name: Konoha Daisenpu
English Name: Leaf Great Whirlwind
Used By: Rock Lee
Description: A powerful leap forward, using the extra momentum to perform a powerful spinning kick with both legs in mid air, the second kick often being aimed lower in case the intended targed ducks. The technique is most effective at ranges of 2-3 meters, because if you miss or they dodge, you have at least made it past them and have a chance to react before they can mount a significant counter-attack.

English Name: Fire Element: Dragon Flame Technique
Used By: Uchiha Sasuke
Description: After binding the opponent, the user blows a large torrential burst of fire usually along a length of cord, guide wire, or any other long thin object. Sasuke is the first we see to use this Jutsu, using it to attack Oochimaru. The attack is very similar to his usual 'Fireball Jutsu" but it is far larger, more powerful and harder to control or use due to the extra amount of Chakra used.

Description: Shoots an enormous ball of flame shaped like a dragon from the user's mouth.

Description: Utilising a high amount of chakra, the user breathes a huge and intense ball of flame. A devastating attack.

Description: The user creates a large amount of clones that phase in and out of the ground as if they were made of blackish oil-like liquid. The user can then hide the projectiles they throw within the illusory ones that the clones throw at their opponents.

Description: A Jutsu that, using a giant fan, causes huge gusts of wind capable of cutting the target apart.

Japanese Name: Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu
English Name: Shadow Neck Bind Technique
Used By: Nara Shikamaru, Nara Shikaku
Description: An advancement of capturing the opponent with Kage Mane no Jutsu (The Art of Me-and-My-Shadow). Once the target has been captured, the user makes a string of hand seals to further the attack. The user then uses their shadow to form a hand, which will creep along the target to their neck and proceed to strangle them. However, those with sufficient chakra are able to push back the shadow hand and resist the effects.

English Name: Raining Needles
Used By:
Description: A barrage of needles fly at the enemy from sockets in an umbrella that has been flung into the air. They come at the enemy from all directions and are controlled by chakra to increase accuracy. These needles have been known to have the power to pierce 5mm of steel.

Japanese Name: Jigoku Koka no Jutsu
English Name: Demonic Illusion: Descending Hell Technique

Description: Jigoku Kōka no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that causes its opponent to see a vision of a tremendous ball of fire that will descend from the sky to envelope the target. The victims of the jutsu will believe they are being engulfed by a torrent of fire and will flee from their location to safety.

Description: In'yu Shōmetsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by Kabuto. Focusing his chakra to an area to be hit, he can begin the cell creation process the moment the area becomes injured. This ability to activate his cells and create new ones is the very reason why Orochimaru favored Kabuto's talents.

Description: Gōken is Gai's and Lee's characteristic fighting style, requiring great strength and speed, as well as mastering the opening of the eight chakra gates in the body to tap massive amounts of chakra at the cost of increasingly severe physical damage, and even death, to oneself. Gōken is the most basic form of Taijutsu. It aims at inflicting external damage and breaking bones.

Description: When the Shukaku is manifested in its perfect form, it shoots very powerful balls of air that have a great amount of chakra molded in them. They can rearrange landscape and cause massage damage if they connect. The Frog Boss' Water Bullets create an instant storm if they clash with the Compressed Air Balls.

Description: The user spews a large amount of sand from the mouth, that covers a large area. The sand strikes the opponent, and devastates both the enemy and a large area around him.

Description: After performing the Hirū Banshō: Bōka no Jutsu (Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique) to merge with a rock, the user charges at the target in a way similar to the Akimichi clan Nikudan Sensha.

Description: A technique where the power of the attack is in the thrust. The user must accumulate fast speeds in order to create the thrust which can cut through anything, even lightning itself.

English Name: Mass Shadow Clone Technique
Used By: Naruto
Description: This is the Shadow Clone Technique used in very large numbers, generally hundreds. The more clones there are, the easier it is to mask the user's true intentions.

Japanese Name: Souja Sousai no Jutsu
English Name: Twin Snake Assassination Technique

Description: A forbidden jutsu which is a murder-suicide attack- killing both the user and the target.

Japanese Name: Odama Rasengan
English Name: Great Ball Spiraling Sphere
Used By: Uzumaki Naruto
Description: A larger and more powerful version of the Rasengan molded using Kyūbi's chakra, but as the chakra is more unstable, he needs a clone to form and control the energy.

English Name: Five-Pronged Seal

Description: This Seal negates the effect of Orochimaru's Curse Seal, making the effects of it significantly weaker; its main source of power is the person's self-control, however, so if the person it has been performed on loses control of their emotions, it becomes all but ineffectual.
