Mutalisks, zerglings, ultralisks, broodlings. Dark swarm should help, but the tank splash still gets through it so it's not perfect. Plague might help as well.
Make sure the units approach from multiple directions at once, or are at least spread out, otherwise the tanks will decimate them.

If there's mass of tanks, I'd suggest getting Mutalisk and upgrade Overlord's transport. If you want fast results and don't mind wasting zerglings, put zerglings in the overlord and drop 1 at a time to a sieged tanks and they'll kill themselves. I also suggest that you use guardians if you have enough resources.

If you are capable of plaguing them all, then send in one mutalisk after that fact and watch the tanks explode! His 3-man attack splash + 1 HP on all of the tanks = BOOM BOOM BOOM!

This doesn't always work if the tanks armors are upgraded. Don't forget, mutas' glave damage reduce to about 1/3 each time it bounces. So the last glave won't always destroy the tank even with the plague.

If the Siege Tanks are in Siege Mode, they have a minimum range. If you have Overlord Transport, load Zerglings and Hydralisks into the Overlords, get the Overlords really close to the tanks, and unload. The Siege Tanks won't be able to fight back as your forces decimate them.

I think it's always a good idea to use preventive measures to you don't get caught off guard. 1 lurker at a choke point should do the trick. Unless it's a non-money map, in which case, I suggest some patrolling mutalisks. (Oh, and speaking of which, I recall reading that the mutalisks' attack will drop from 9 to 4 to 1)

You have to put atleast 12 of them at chokepoint for them to be affective.

One of the best way to counter tanks is micromanagement. Use mass of zerglings, ultras, and lurkers and make the defilers do Dark Swarm to protect them. Although, the splash is going to hurt them a bit, it still works. Or (this is risky) send your ultras to take most of the damages and then send your zerglings but this requires fast fingers and heavy micro. stare
