Aspen and Oakley! I just started drawing one of them, and I liked how it looked, so I added in the other. I'm gonna make it a desktop maybe; at least finish it.
8D;; It's a rare occasion that I don't finish something in one sitting, so I figured I'd get some critique afore I inked it and everything! I'd particularly dig help with the legs: I think Aspen's (our right) is sort of right, but I'm not as sure about Oakley's.
This isn't what the composition of the finished piece is going to be, so I'd just like anatomical crits, if that's cool! Colour suggestions would be good too. I am thinkin' blue-y.
Edit the first;

Edit the second; This is the small version; click it for the size I was actually working at. (1325*606)

I'm thinking that Aspen's pose is looking more 'correct' because of the fact that he looks like he's putting weight on the hand that's supporting him. Oakley looks like he's a bit uncomfortable, because he's got his hand out behind him, but he is trying not to put any weight on it. Don't know if that's really clear, but it's what I'm seeing.
I think you're right about Oakley's thigh. It seems to be in a bit of an awkward position. Makes him seem a bit double jointed. Maybe see if you can rope someone into sitting like that for you?
But I really like Aspen's pose. Sweet job.

Ahh, very true! I'll have to mess with his torso to have him leaning back a bit more. That's what I get for drawing him right up against the edge of the canvas. @m@;
I fiddled with his leg and bent it out a bit... /adds to first post I don't think either of my p-units would be too helpful as reference models. xD But I'm gonna see if I can find anything similar on the mighty interwebs.
Thanks!
