Middling, Noon ((*BEFORE most of my RPs. Yes, I keep time jumping. Two days after Midnight Meeting*))
Crow had decided to stroll along Middling...as a kitten. She switched back to a kitten again. The whole random switching thing was getting far worse with the armband. Word on the street--which mind you, she received often, was that another Game leader had a flower shop in Middling. Why not give it a shot? Worse that could happen would be a swift broom out the door.
Or switching again. Ugh. She shook her head in exhaustion, growling obscenities under her breath.
Still a kitten, she rounded the corner of the shops and continued on towards the streets. Shops she didn't care noticing until a sweet scent caught her nose.
The Seasons Florist was just ahead, maybe this was the shop? Well, might as well pop in and sneak a peek, maybe even steal a flower for her 'house'. Crow padded on easily into the shop without anyone really noticing her. Or at least, she thought.

If Persy had little tolerance for children, she had even less so for pets. Nothing good about pets appealed to her: they just peed on the floor, chewed on the flowers, and ran away the moment you became attached. Any sort of domesticated animal was just a waste of mortal food, in Persy's opinion, and she wasn't about to open her shop to be an animal shelter.
So the moment she felt the cat enter her domain, she was at the front door, picking up the creature with two hands at the waist and holding it out as far away from her body as possible, sliding open the door with her foot to dispose of the thing. However, after a moment's exposure, she realized that the cat had mythical properties, and either was or belonged to a godling and therefore could likely speak. Her frown darkening, she set the kitten back on the floor and looked down on it from her staggering five foot zero height, her stare bearing down and her arms crossed. The goddess was not amused.
"I suggest you change back now: I don't speak cat," Persy snapped, stepping over the false pet to get to the counter. "I sense Anubis on you, but you're not his, and I don't have much patience for gods I haven't met. You can either speak up or scram." Leaning against the counter, her imposing stare stayed, and she waited for a response, in the meanwhile counting to ten in her head. That was all the kid had before it was the boot for the puss in lack of boots.

Crow looked up, and flicked her tail. After a few half-mews, she finally spoke.
"I can't change back." She first said, half of it sounding like a strained meow with one's tongue tied down, and also half high-pitched. It was a really odd sound, but the words were clear enough.
"Gods?" She queried next, her head cocked to the side and one ear half turned. "What about Gods?"
It wasn't like Anubis gave her any information about the Game. She came to ask a couple questions and she was going to be out of this lady's hair. Crow worried, though, that the woman was going to send her away before she even got a chance.

"Can't change back? I doubt it." Persy's frown darkened even further, and she knelt down to be somewhat eye-to-eye with the cat. She checked the aura around the strange creature, and sure enough, it would seem that it was stuck in it's current form by a power greater than it's, probably their gods. Well, there was nothing Persy could do about that, and her expression relaxed as she got to her feet.
"Okay, so you can't change back: I'll live with it for now. You wanna know about gods, eh?" Persy sounded annoyed, and her arms crossed again: this girl had Anubis's aura on her, which meant she'd been introduced into the Game. So how could she not know about the gods?
"Do you want to count that as your free question, or are you willing to make a trade?" Regardless of the fact that the godling didn't seem to know right from left in the Game, she'd been introduced, and that meant Persy could be as cruel as she wanted to. There was no way the talking cat would get it off easy: Persy's week had gone far too sour.

"I don't know 'cause I doubt Anubis knew I didn't know... I just knew...there were others...er...like me." Crow stated quickly, and then she continued.
"Trade will be fine by me."

Persy grinned wickedly, as if the girl had just sold off her soul. A trade...finally, Persy would be able to barter, and not any sort of freebie crap. The girl was smart, even if she was a cat.
"Well, then, what do you have to offer? Information on other Godlings, about yourself, a rare item, perhaps...?" She left the floor open for options, but was hoping for information. Her notebook was embarassingly bare, and any sort of blackmail would be perfect for her.

Crow sighed, or well, in cat language that is a hung head and a tail that flicks low to the ground.
"Nowr, not...at the moment. How about this: You tell me what I need to know, and I swear on my brother Killian that I will return to you with information about other players. I gain trust quickly for being resourceful. Now, about myself...? You know more than I do, if this has to do with some higher beings than us."
Crow hoped that would do, she desperately need to know who this Morrigan was... Oh, that might be of help.
"I know that Morrigan gave me an armband, a funny one at that... Anubis said so, anyway. I want to know who Morrigan is."

Persy's grin turned to a frown, and she opened her mouth to deny the request. However, the chance to have inside information, and it was too tempting to resist.
"Fine: three questions from you on my terms, in exchange for an audience with your god Morrigan. Do you accept these terms?" A silent hum filled the room with a sudden burst of excitement: the agreement would be binding the moment the godling said yes, both to Crow and the goddess herself.

"Wha? My god?" Crow spoke with a slight 'rawrh'-ing meow. She then squished her eyes closed. This woman had to be loco.
"Ya' told me what I needed to know." She started, because honestly, the woman had. "So we don't need to go into agreement about that. I don't want an 'audience' with him, or her, or whatever, I just needed to know who Morrigan was."
She then flicked her tail. "So, I will keep the agreement, and return to you with information. We'll agree to just that, okie?"
Crow mostly wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Gods? What was this, some religious cult?!
((OORP: Note, this is a pre-Rp before meeting Writ and everything, so essentially the day after she joined. Thus Crow's reeaaallly weired out. It's more of a "oops I forgot I said I met the Green Lady" RP. Kay?))

Persy's eyes narrowed: she didn't like being cheated out of a deal. However, there was not much the goddess could do, so she merely frowned, crossing her arms.
"Fine: you will bring me information in exchange for the knowledge that Morrigan is a god-dess," Persy snarled, emphasizing the last syllable. "Now that that's been settled, then, you can leave my store. You're making my plants nervous." Regardless of whether or not this final statement was true, the way Persy glared indicated that the girl would be smart to act on it.

"'Kay." The small black kitten agreed, quickly exiting the store before much worse could happen to her.
'Morrigan the Goddess...who may have damned me? Why does this sound right?' Crow said to herself as she continued down the street, no one bothering to notice the small kitten at their feet.
'Nah... She's just...loco, right?'
'Right?' Her mind continued to question things as she headed down the street.
'No... She isn't... Nothing else makes sense, this...kinda does.'
