Lily is a very shy Pearlaice, grown up in a very shelterd life with her guardian. She seems deadly afraid of some humans because they look at her as if they've never seen a Pearlaice before. (Which they probably haven't)
Whenever she loves someone or something, she is very protective and will do anything necessairy to protect those persons she loves. She cares a lot for all living beings around her, trees and flowers, as well as animals.
Lily is very insecure and afraid of meeting new people and other living things. She's very conscious of herself and really hates it when people look/stare at her tail. Dear Diary,
My mother has decided to give me this diary. She tells me it's for me to have fun with, but whenever she says that, I see a worried look in her eyes.
I know why that is. I've heard her speaking to someone on the phone the other day. They were talking about me! Mother said she was worried that I was withdrawing in my shell. Which is funny, because I haven't been a shell for quite a long time. She also said I had problems with other people. eek I don't think that's true at all. I don't mind them walking by, but the staring just gets too much sometimes. So I hide. xp I can't help it! Honestly!
I hear mother calling for me to come and have some dinner. You're not so bad, I think I might write in you a bit more often. ^^

Friday, November 12th, 2004 - Later, after dinner
Dear Diary,
Mother was acting so weird! She kept giving me these weird glances! Then, all of a sudden, the doorbell rang, making me scoot slightly in my seat. The way she jumped up and practically ran at the door while shooting me another weird glance made me very suspicious.
She then came in with a lady. She looked pretty enough, for a human. She said she was a doctor something. I didn't really pay attention to her name, I was trying to get out of the room, but mother held me by my shoulders so I couldn't get out. ;-;
The doctor lady said she wanted to speak to me about my 'fear of commitment' and that my mother was worried about me and that she only wanted me to be happy. Well, I'm not going to be happy at all if she forces someone on me. xp
And I do have a friend. His name is Bob and he lives in my room. He's hairy, and has eight eyes and eight legs. Bob is cool heart Other people are afraid of Bob. whee I think I might show him to mother once, perhaps she'll stop worrying then.
Bob tells the coolest stories.

Dear Diary,
Bob told the most funniest story about....well...something I'm not really supposed to write down. XD *cough* He also suggested a name for you, he wanted me to call you Bobette. I find that a bit of a weird name. But perhaps I'll have to try it.
Mother brought this other person to the house this afternoon. He was actually kind of nice. ^^ He told me that there are other ways for me to move around. (As you might have noticed, I don't have legs, I have a tail. 4laugh )
He said that I could use something called 'telekinesis' to help float myself. o_O But in the water, no! In the air. surprised Doesn't that sound awesome? He said it will be reeeeally hard to do that, so I have to practice hard. He wants me to try and lift some marble first.
Oh right, perhaps you don't know what telekinesis is. After all, you are only a diary. ^^ Telekinesis is lifting things with your mind. >_> I think I'm a bit too heavy though. ^^; But I'll practice anyway, if only to humour him, he was very nice. Not scary at all, and he didn't stare at me as other people do. smile That's nice. biggrin

Well... that went rather well. ^^ Much better than I had expected. Lily didn't flinch, nor hide when I introduced her to Charles. As a matter of fact, she seemed to rather like him! Charles had suggested the idea of telekinesis for Lily to move around a short while ago.
Perhaps this will make her a bit more confident about herself and will stop her from retreating from others further.
Yesterday, on the other hand, went rather bad. I introduced her to Cecilia, but she tried to get out of the room, I had to grab her by her shoulders to stop her from... well... fleeing. sad She seemed to really dislike Cecilia and didn't really pay attention, although she pretended she did. I can tell she really dislikes me for what I did. >_<
I just want her to have some friends and be happy.

I have a headache. I've been staring at the marble for hours! And the only thing that happened in the end was that it rolled slightly to the left. xp But that could also have been the result of the table being a bit crooked.

Lily has been working really hard on her telekinesis today. She practised for four hours straight and refused to take a break until I told her so. I'm glad she's taking this so seriously. ^^ For a moment I thought she wasn't going to attempt this at all, but it seems I was wrong.
And what a result already! This was her first attempt and she already made the marble move slightly to the left and slightly to the right. I phoned Charles immediatly and he was very impressed. He told me it would normally take several days to even get a slight result as a wiggle. He's coming over tomorrow.

I was thinking of taking Lily to the pools today, so she can meet some other Pearlaice. In the past she has been thinking up ways not to go, but not this time. I'll let her sleep for a few more hours and then I'll drag her along if I have to!

Wow. Just wow. The progress Lily is making with contacting other Pearlaice is absolutely amazing. It seems she feels rather comfortable in the pools and hanging out with them. Especially with Sasuke. Hehehe, I think something nice might be developing between those two. heart
But, back to the point, it would seem that Lily is mostly uncomfortable when around non-guardian humans. I suppose I'll have to test this theory, but I don't want to put Lily trough all that, so I guess I'll just leave it be.
Lily had and is having so much fun at the pools that I had to cancel Charles. He was rather dissapointed, but very glad to hear she's been making friends. Perhaps another time. I doubt she'll want to do anything tomorrow than to hang out at the pools.
Ah, the sweet love between young people. Hehe, Lily would really smack me if she heard me say that. XD

The pools were GREAT! I can't believe I never wanted to go! That was so stupid of me. >_<
I've met a lot of Pearlaice, and they were all very nice to me! There was one scary one, but he was nice a bit later.
There was this really, really nice Pearlaice named Sasuke. He was new too. He gave me this really pretty blue and white shell. heart
I want to go tomorrow as well!

Dear Bobette,
I've slept absolutely fabulous! I've dreamed about Sasuke at one point, it was a very nice dream. I really want to go to the pools again. I hope mother will let me. She said she really liked me socialising and making friends, but she doesn't want me to go overboard. How weird is that?! First she pushes me to make friends, then she doesn't want me to. >__> She's just weird. It's a human thing I guess, I don't really understand some of the decisions they make.
I hope Sasuke will be at the pools as well. The shell he gave me was really pretty, it looks very nice if the light hits it in a certain way.
Mother just called. She wants me to practice telekinesis. Not sure if I want to actually. Ah, mother just said that after I finish practising, we can go to the pools! Heh, I'll go and practice now!

Mother didn't want to take me to the pool today because she wasn't feeling to well. ;-; I feel sorry for her, but I really do wanted to go and see the others. >_> Perhaps later tonight.
For now I'll have to enjoy myself in our own pool. All alone. *sigh*
On the other hand, mother told me there are a lot of new Pearlaice going to be here soon! eek I'm kind of curious about them. But it's also a bit scary. So many new ones. @_@ Mother showed me a few pictures of them. They are all very pretty. Heh. Wonder what Sasuke thinks of them.
Hmm. Mother wanted me to practice standing on my tail so I can slither along. xD Ewww, that sounds so snakey like. o_O I'm not a snake! I'm a pearlaice! biggrin Yay! Perhaps some other time. I found this really weird comic book. I'm reading it now. ^^

It was horrible, Lily got into a terrible fight with Sasuke, Miroku and their new sister: Ino.
Ino insulted me and Lily defended me with all her heart. She stood up for me and gave up Sasuke for me.
My poor baby is in so much pain. I do not want her to go through with this, I do not want her to hurt this bad, I wish I could help her.
My poor, gorgeous Lily.
She is asleep right now, the pain was too much for her, she didn't notice me carrying her home.
It was absolutely horrible. I hope I'll never have to witness something like this again. I don't want her near that Sasuke anymore. I shall prevent this from happening at all costs. I don't want her to be hurt anymore than she already is!

Mother thinks I am asleep, but I am not. How can I be after what has happened? Sasuke.... Sasuke, I do not hate you. Sasuke.... I... I think I love you... How could this have happened? Since when did he start to hate me so? Why? Why? What can I do.... Who do I have left...? My chest hurts so much, it feels as if my heart has been ripped out... I... I don't know.... help
