This role play is between Rena and Rio. No one but Lily (PandaLily) and I may post. As continued from Lily's lost post...PandaLily with the sun beating down, and Rena at hisside, he felt he was in a 'comfort zone'. He fells asleep in the shade of the tree. his soft breathing could be sensed even without careful hearing. he could feel Rena's heartbeat even though he was asleep. the careful 'thump thump thump' constantly. Rena opened her eyes, her arms still wrapped around Rio's waist. It was evening now, and the sun was half-way down the horizon. Must've been a few hours... she thought, sitting up to face the sun. She leaned down to kiss him lightly on the lips before lying down beside him again. She buried her face in his scent, his warm fur gradually warming her own. I'll just wake him up when the sun's nearly down...

Rio was a deep sleeper. he didn't even know that Rena snuggled close to him. Rio smiled in his sleep though. He could feel warmth and the soft beating of her heart in his dreams. a soft wind blew against his nose as he sneezked a small sneeze. 'ah-chuu~' went the sneeze as he awoke from his slumber.

Rena smiled as Rio's eyes opened. "Have any nice dreams, Rio?" she asked, lifting her chin to tickle his with her nose. "The sun's almost past the horizon, so we'd better get going..." She took a deep breath, wishing that his scent would never go away. "But I like it like this; don't you?"

"uh huh~ lots of sweet dreams of my love." he said charmingly as he put his nose to hers. "yes. this beatiful sunset." He answered to her. He loved this but the sun was soon to set and his family would worry about him.

"My human bought another special book recently, so I'd better check up on the little thing." Rena whispered, standing up to brush off any dust that had gathered on her fur. She took Rio's paw and pulled his sleepy self up, wrapping her forelimbs around his neck and kissing him on the lips when he did. "Ciao." She whispered again, unraveling her limbs and stepping back as she waved good-bye.

"okay. bai Rena. i hope to see you again." Rio said as he smiled to her as she back off to take her leave. 'hm. a new book. i hope Ichi will like this book and Rena won't hate her anymore.' Rio thought to himself. he realized he still had his cookie. "here, take this home with you." he said as he ran behind her and handed her the half-eated cookie.

"Oh, no thanks." Rena replied. "My human bought a batch of chocolate chip cookies this morning that I can steal from." She smiled at him, coming to a slow stop. "I'll see tomorrow at the same spot, then?" She asked, running off again before he could answer. I'd better steal some milk early... Em's probably causing a racket on his platform right now... She thought, speeding up.

The next morning, Rena brought the little Emile with her, his body only halfway out of his book. She sat next to him, pointing to the clouds and explaining how they formed and such to him, she heard some familiar footsteps crushing the grass on the other side of the tree. She took Emile's paws and waved them around as she sang one of the songs she'd heard her human sing before.

The next morning, around the same place, Rio had heard wonderful singing from a familier voice, Rena's! He pattered towards her on all fours (bad habit for a mouse like him) with a basket in his mouth. The basket was Tsuki's but she let him borrow it for this occasion because it was big enough to use. He set the basket down beside Rean and asked, "what a cute mousie~" He said before going in front of the book. He placed his butt down on the ground with his tail behind him. "what be your name?" he asked.

Rena smiled, leaning over to hug Rio. "Don't be shy, now, Em. This is Rio; a... very good friend of mine. Emile shrunk back in his book until only his ears were left. His reply was muffled. "My name be Emile." He said softly, his small voice barely heard. Rena reached over and gently pulled at Emile's light blue ears. "Em's a really shy mouse," She told Rio, "It took a while for me to approach him, and it usually takes even longer for anyone else, since I'm the first and only mouse he's ever met up until now. He's really friendly with our human, though, and seems to have become friends with her." Rena tugged his ears again, harder this time. "And I'll bet he could probably ask for food, being the girl's only pet

Rio watched the shy mouse back off. He ran to his basket on all fours and opened it. he grabbed a few chocolate chips and running back, plopping down on the ground in front of Emile. "may i give him this?" He asked Rena as he handed her one of the chocolate chips he had. He only had white chocolate chips since there were only white ones and because Ichi didn't like them, so he ate them.

Rena nodded, tapping Em's forehead with her paw. "You want some chocolate chips, Em?" She whispered into his ear, "It's white~ Your favorite!"Emile immediately popped his head out of the book. "Milk?""No, silly!" Rena replied, smiling, "White chocolate chips! The ones that Mel only get during longterm school breaks!" She held the chocolate chip teasingly above Em's head, pulling back whenever he reached for it. She finally gave it to him when he stopped trying. "Isn't he adorable?" She asked Rio, reaching for his paw.

"aw, don't tease him. He's too cute to tease~" Rio said as he put a chocolate chip on the book that the mouse was half out of. "enjoy it Little Emile." he said. he noticed Rena reach for his paw. He moved his closer to hers before holding it softly in his.

Emile grinned, taking the chip and gobbling it down, leaving tiny crumbs around his face and on his whiskers. Rena took a handkerchief out of her pocket and leaned over to wipe Em's face with it. "Silly, eat it slower so you can enjoy it!" She put her nose to his and wiggled it, causing Em to giggle.

Rio giggled a bit as the cute little mouse ate it with such delight. "here. have some more. no one really likes these at my house." He said as he slipped 2 more white chocolate chips on the book in front of the small mouse that came from the book. 'so cute~' Rio thought.

Emile gave Rena a peculiar look before gobbling down the two chips. "Really? They're of our favorites." Rena smiled, leaning over wipe Em's face again. "Our human never buys them, though they're her favorite, too." Rena shook her head as Em started sucking his fingers. "No, Em. Don't suck your fingers; wash your hands." She pulled his fingers out of his mouth and stood up, lifting him up into her arms. "You want to come to our house? Em needs to wash his paws."
