Ah Hyperspace, that place so full of gravity shadows and fast ships. This thread is to be used for people within hyperspace so that they can continue RP while their character is stuck on a ship. After all, people don't just freeze in time as they go through a jump.

Diva felt rather uneasy, she felt that he was untrained, but her instincts said something else. Which should she believe? "I see...Um...ok." She murmured, her first instinct wanting to be Dantooine, but she felt so nervous of bringing him there. "Before I do, how can I trust you? You feel like you are force sensitive, but I don't think so. I mean no disrespect, I'm just...unsure." She spoke her mind, knowing that this might cost her, but she wanted to know. Her empathic side felt that this man was evil, but why would he save her then? She was starting to get a headache.

As she spoke, Grim thought to himself. didn't she ever hear the saying 'dont look a gift bantha in the mouth? wait...she might be empathic...of course, I need to think those thoughts I used to think when I was but an innocent...otherwise my cover will be blown here and now...lets see...first year of medical studies...yes...reminisce upon the fun I had.
With a smile, Grim looked over to her, " why would I be here to harm you? and if I was, wouldn't it make more sense to have ambused you the moment you set foot in the cargo bay, rather than let you get here...to the compfy co-pilot's chair?"
Grim then sniffles a bit, pouting his lips and looking sad, " d...don't you t-t-trust me?"

Diva let herself hear his thoughts, they felt like a normal voice in her head, but they only increased her unease. "I don't know, your a sith in disguise maybe. Perhaps you want the death of everyone in the Jedi academy and thus want to use me to get to them."
She was caught off-guard by the pouting and sniffles, that one part of her that was insisting his intentions weren't good only solidifying as the rest of her felt a little guilty. "I-I don't know...If you were a sith I'm trapped either way. If you aren't, then I apologize, I'm just very..uneasy." Sighing, she put her face in her hands, closing her eyes. "I just found an academy for sith on Korriban, found that my closest friend and his padawan were killed, my friend taken prisoner and nearly killed, now this?" She felt the empathic side change to more of an innocent feeling from him, but the evil intentions remained. How can I sense this if he's covering anything up? Is it the power of my people adding to it?
(( Since she's from Azurath, yes Raven from Teen Titans influenced there, and they are empaths and strong telekinetics, then that will influence Diva a little. Just enhance those abilities some, not a ton. ))

Sage pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and patted it against his face a bit, " but...b..but if I was a sith in disguise...why would I talk to you? and...aren't sith eviler than me?"
As he spoke, Grim thought this lady is being mean to me...I'm gonna play a song here to cheer me up.
As the thoughts 'play a song' crossed his mind, a memory of a song did begin to play itself through his mind. The song? why..'look on the bright side of life'. And of course, as the song played through his mind, it was accompanied by an image of many men being crucified, but whistling merrily and singing the song.
((the song in question is at the end of the movie 'monty python's life of brian'))

Diva blinked, looking up to him, getting rather sharp when she didn't mean to. "Sith can work in strange ways, they could lie if they want to. They create distrust and often bring chaos. It is their way. But...sometimes there are Jedi outcasts who are hard to read, but they don't feel like you do. I would know, my master became one. I'm sorry, I just don't like feeling this uneasy."
Leaning back in her chair, she really didn't want to bring him back to the academy but she did want to let them know that she was alright. "Why don't you choose the place? I don't want to bring you back to the academy when I feel this uneasy about you."

Grim nodded, " I would. But I don't have any recent astrogation charts. When I used the dial to get here, I was on my way from a long term mission to the outer rim. They didn't have any nav computers that I could use to update my system."

Diva rolled her eyes, sounded like a weak excuse to her. Closing her eyes, she wouldn't bring him to Azurath either. "Long term mission? Given to you by whom and where in the outer rim?" She was growing harder and harder to sway, she didn't like this situation at all. Stuck on a ship with a man who I think is a sith....Oi... She rubbed her eyes, asking rather suddenly. "Where do you keep the blankets? It feels cold in here without my robe."

Grim motioned to a button on the co-pilot's seat, " Who uses blankets when they can afford heated seats? there's also a massage function if you're sore from that incredible battle I saw you in earlier. As for who assigned the mission? and where? It was to a dirtball planet that hasn't been officially recognized within the republic. Kazmataz I think it was. I was assigned to go there and assess the medical knowledge level, as well as general health by the Medical Corporation of Coruscant."
do, do do, do do dodododooo...I hope she doesn't jump into attack....do do, do dododooo, it would suck if I haaadd.. to fight her...do do, do do dododooo, I'd really rather not have to fight such a person...do do, do dodododoooo, especially when I think I might be able to....Seduce, her to the light side...

Diva glanced to the button, listening to his answer. Holding her hand out, she hoped that what she was doing would answer a few questions. Psychometry was often harder on a person, but she had been testing it recently and it was getting easier and easier. She had to pull her hand away after a couple of moments, wincing as she saw a few scenes flash by from whatever ceremony that was. The end of it stayed in her mind though. My god... "Oh, thanks. Hm...I see." She was now extremely uneasy, her voice not reflecting this.
Looking away, she was looking at her surroundings in case she did have to fight. "I still say you pick where we go, after all you could just take me back to where you were on Kamataz. I'd rather not choose where we go." She added after a few moments, pressing the button and feeling a little heat rise up in the seat.

she's dead set against going back...I suppose my charade is over. Still might be nice to try and get her to understand that she's serving evil though.
Grim sighed, " fine...I'll tell you the truth. I'm an opposer of the evil Jedi. Your order is full of those who would do harm to others simply for their beliefs. Assassins and those of evil exist within your order. And so I must oppose that order. If I can convince others of your order to throw off thier bonds of oppression, I would like to do so."
Unlike earlier, Grim drops the charade of suppressing his abilities. Further, if she were to read his thoughts and feelings, she would find him to be completely sincere.

Diva's eyes widened, pulling the straps off of herself as she backed towards the door. Shaking her head, she clenched her hands into fists. "What? Jedi don't do that. We don't do that, I don't do that. Assasins? What are you talking about? No, they help people who have no family who are gifted like us. They saved me after my parents were killed in front of me."
She could sense his sincerity, but felt that he was as powerful as her. "I saw what happened to you in the past. I'm deeply sorry that happened, sometimes Jedi feel that they want to get revenge. It isn't our way though. None of the others will agree with you." She knew she couldn't convince him otherwise and instead sighed, her hands on her lightsabers. "What are you going to do with me now?" She asked quietly, a tear falling down her cheek, her eyes now a grey-blue.

Grim looked over at her, then blinked a bit, and shrugged. " I was thinking we could share a bit of tea maybe, talk this out like civilized people instead of resorting to your barbaric jedi ways of combat. Goodness, I was right in my assumption that your an evil lot. Jumping to a fight when there is none."
Instead of springing a trap, or doing some evil deed, Grim simply turned the chair around a bit, and leaned back in it. He relaxed, and stared at Diva, " so...do tell me more of this 'non assassin filled order' "

Diva breathed in relief, letting go of her sabers. "We aren't 'evil lot.' I'm just jumpy considering I just fought a sith and have no clue what is going on. I apologize." She sat back down in her chair, lowering her eyes. "Fine. What do you want to know? In return you tell me why you believe us to be as such." She replied in a quiet voice, pushing down the internal feelings again at how she felt so aged when she was only twenty.

Grim scratched his cheek for a bit, then replied, " apology accepted. as for why your evil? well, you deny passion, you deny love. from what I've heard the jedi deny the most necessary emotion of life. Without love there would be no civilization, therefore any who would destroy it are the most evil beings possible. As for what I would like to know...perhaps you could tell me where the jedi temple is? I'd love to go for a visit."
