Waiting
The same cold morning,
And another lifeless day,
Tell me why I should live this way.
I need excitement and I need joy,
But all I get is ever so much noise,
With people's comments about their day,
How I wish to live that way.
But a wish is a dream and never to be,
So much grief it is to me,
People give up in their own "little" ways,
How can I say I won't someday?
And once again it is night,
Another heartless day has just passed by,
So much time wasted on living,
Yet I am still cruelly waiting.
