Story Usagi is the granddaughter of the leader of a presitgious ninja village, but she's such a klutz that she's never made it out of the kiddie class. Frustrated with Usagi's lack of progress, her grandfather sends her to marry Lord Hanzo and have lots of ninja babies. But the lord has no interest in her or her childbearing potential!

Creator Rinko Ueda is from Nara prefecture. She enjoys listening to the radio, drama CDs, and Rakugo comedy performances. Her works include Ryo, a series based on the legend of Gyojo Bridge, Home, a story about love crossing national boundaries, and Tail of the Moon (Tsuki no Shippo), a romantic ninja comedy.

Volume 1
The path to love is never easy, and Usagi has some unexpected competition. It seems that another ninja clan wants to welcome Lord Hanzo into the family, and they've sent the beautiful and talented Yuri to win herself a wedding. Usagi won't be daunted by her rival's looks and skills, but will Lord Hanzo's secret feelings for an off-limits princess be enough to send her away in despair?
Volume 2
Usagi's mission to bear Hanzo's child is not going well. The father of her future babies has no interest in her, and she has a beautiful, brilliant rival. In order to regroup, Usagi goes back to her home village, arriving just in time for the annual Ninja Games--and the prize is a love potion! In order to win the race Usagi agrees to team up with her ex-fiancé Goemon...and then Hanzo drops by the village unannounced! Who will win in this game of love?
Volume 3
Lord Hanzo readily agrees to Ieyasu's offer to take Usagi away to work as an herbalist - almost as quickly as he agreed with Ieyasu that Usagi doesn't have what it takes to become a ninja! Hanzo seems unconcerned about having Usagi out of his life, but Usagi isn't faring as well. Lonely in a new place, Usagi crawls into Yukimaru's bed, much to his distress!
Volume 4
Usagi will remain in Ieyasu's household forever, apart from her beloved Hanzo, unless she can come up with an elixir of eternal youth. Usagi journeys to a mountain to find a hermit who supposedly knows how to create such an elixir, but he has no intention of sharing his knowledge with her. Even if Usagi is successful, there are others who don't want to see her free to return to Hanzo's arms...
Volume 5
Usagi is reunited with Hanzo, but Usagi's bliss abruptly ends when Hanzo's sister Suzune pays a visit and starts throwing ninja stars at the happy couple. Suzune won't accept Usagi as a potential sister-in-law if she can't evade her deadly attacks. Can Usagi survive Suzune's ninja offensive?
Volume 6
Goemon and Mamezo are taken hostage by the Kanbutsu clan, and the price for their lives is an "Instant Death" poison, which Usagi must create. Their captor, however, seems intent on killing Goemon whether Usagi makes the poison or not...
Volume 7
Hanzo is waiting for Usagi to qualify as a ninja before marrying her, but Usagi doesn't seem to be getting any closer to achieving her goal. Frustrated by the long wait, her great-grandfather decides to call off the engagement!
Volume 8
Usagi and Hanzo continue posing as a married couple during their ninja mission, though Hanzo seems to be jealous of Ranmaru's attentions toward Usagi. Furthermore, it seems that Ranmaru is planning to start a war by attacking all of Iga!
Volume 9
At the tea ceremony, Hanzo saves Usagi and takes her to his hideout in the city. Unfortunately, Mamezo is caught by the formidable Akechi Mitsuhide and forced to reveal where Hanzo's hideout is! Meanwhile, Ranmaru feels humiliated for letting Hanzo get the best of him and vows to hunt down all the ninja of Iga by himself...
Volume 10
After she sees her childhood friend Kame having a tryst with Ranmaru, Usagi concludes that Kame has betrayed Iga. When she confronts Kame, Ranmaru has Usagi imprisoned and Kame is seriously wounded! What are Ranmaru's plans for the two of them? And will Usagi return to Iga alive?
Volume 11
During their search for Mamezo, a downpour forces Usagi and Hanzo to take shelter inside a cave. Though the storm and a dark cave provide a romantic backdrop for the loving couple, something sinister interrupts them, and Hanzo gets sniped by a poisonous ninja star! Can Usagi save him in time?
Volume 12
Usagi and Hanzo finally return to Iga, where a wedding banquet for them awaits. Usagi couldn't be more thrilled that her dreams are coming true! Unfortunately, the arrival of Oda Nobunaga's troops puts an end to the festivities. Can the Iga ninja protect their home against such a large army?
Volume 13
After the devastating attack on Iga, Usagi becomes a better-skilled ninja. Even as Usagi takes solace from her friend Yuki and vows to move forward, she struggles to come to terms with her tragic losses. Meanwhile, rumor has it that Goemon is still alive in the capital! Usagi heads off to investigate, but she'll be surprised to see how much he's changed...
Volume 14
Usagi must decide whether she'll continue to hold on to her feelings for Hanzo or give up and marry Yuki instead. She becomes even more torn when Yuki reveals that the mysterious ninja who saved Usagi earlier may have been Hanzo himself...!
Volume 15
Hanzo continues to plot Oda Nobunaga's assassination and an angry Mitsuhide decides to betray his own lord. During Mitsuhide's attack on Nobunaga, Usagi gets caught in the middle! With everyone's lives in jeopardy, how will this thrilling ninja tale end?

Well, I do like this...But I don't at the same time. I don't like the main guy's attitude, and I don't like the main girl's either. But I do like reading it, and I love ninjas!!

I'm pretty much a sucker for Ninja romances and comedies. I've only read volume one of this series though, so I'm looking forward to reading the rest!

Oh gosh, I love this manga so much!! I really don't know who I want Usagi to end up with, but I really think it would be cute if that one dude who went over seas to America comes back and tells her he loves her =^_^= He's adorable in his shyness.
Is it just me, or does Hikaru remind any one else of Marluxia from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories? xd (You know, with the long hair, suave smile, flowers everywhere)

I love how much usagi grows as a character! That is one of my favorite things about the series.

I wasn't really pleased with how the main plot ended, but I think the end story with Mamezo was so adorable!! =^_^=
