Has anybody ever gone maple sugaring?
We have a friend who is trying to run a farm all by herself, with just a hired hand.
So we go out in the woods every spring and help her collevt maple sap, and then boil it down for syrup.
She pays us with maple cream, which is delicious stuff!

Yay for maple sugar!
I don't do that myself, but I see buckets on trees as I go down the road.

We used to do some maple sugaring, but we don't anymore because it was too much work for low-quality syrup.

It's not so much work anymore with the rubber hose system; it's getting automated.
