How much do you value your friends? Do you think that they take advantage of you or do all of you get along great?

I value friendship a lot. I have some really good friends! I try to keep away from the drama. I lost a lot of friends this year. I blame high school for it.

Sometimes all you need are a few friends. A lot of times when you have tons of friends it's nice, but many times people drift apart over time. That's how it happened with a lot of friends and I.
I hope that you guys will have a lot of friends.

To make a long story short, I was best friends with two girls up until middle school. One decided to try to make me miserable, succeeded, and we stopped talking to each other; the other still talked to me, but we weren't as close. I switched schools for high school and so far haven't had much trouble keeping friends.
I think it's easier to keep your friends once you learn that the world isn't centered about you and that sometimes, even if your friend might be wrong, you have to push your pride aside.
I don't have an abundance of very close friends, but those I do are like family; I have other friends from school, and they are close, but not enough for me to feel that I can trust them completely. It's nice to have different types of friends and acquaintances.
