Artificial Inflation is really a pain in my butt.
Well not so much mine, but my friends, 'cause I'm helping them get the 2.4 million gold nitemare scarfs.
I remember when they were alot cheaper, around 50k when I first joined, and 3k when they first came out because everyone hated them.

Now hear ye youngins. *coughcough* Now I can remember when sealeds cost 2.5k. OF COURSE this was before there were sealeds. You just donated throughout the month and a letter appeared around the 25th of the month. And we had to walk in the snow, up hill, both ways, to get these sealeds.
*coughcough* Now I remember when DJs and Portables were 6k, and I told myself I was going to save up to buy one. *shakes cane* And I also remember when I bought my devil's tail. For 3k and plus a nitemare collar for a grand total of 11k. And I remember when my IRL friend offered to sell me an angelic sash for 5k, and I said no it was too expensive. *coughcough*

;__; Yeah, it's those greedy people that need to crush everyone else to get what they want, which makes it hard to fund my giveaway, which has about 5 people on it for large items.

I remember when I wanted to get so many things but they were just ridiculous in price.
I don't think I'll ever get my dream haha cause if AI doesn't stop or is controlled in no way no one will.

The good old days, when Ninja Head Bands grew off of 7k trees. >____>;
AI sucks for everybody but rich Gaians. D:
I remember when it was so hard to raise 20k to get Bani Clips. xD
And 10k towards your quest was a whole lot, heck even 1k had more value when I joined.
At the rate things are now, it takes people twice as long to finish quests now days so I'm all for them re-giving out donation items/MC so I can get my paws on them this time around. >___>
I remember I got my nightmare collare from and event box [can't remember which one] now they're like 10k. Dx
The thing that gets me the most is the Sealed/Thank You Letters, 9-10k each!
I can't even afford to get one each month anymore. DDD:

Yes... D: I remember when i was like... The dark halo is alright.... probably won't last... So I sold it... the next month it went up like 30k. D:< You bet I was pissed...
AI does suck. I wasn't around for really really cheap '03 MCs but I was for 5k sealeds. I miss those days.

I joined late 03/early 04 so I didn't see the DJs super cheap, but I was here for a good chunk of 04 items.
On another account, like other oldies.
That happened to me, sold 2 letters from 05 and the next day they just shoot up in price.
Same with my delux cats ears, I donated them to some and the next day I go to the market place and see they've jumped to 7,8k.
That was a little funny. xD
I remember complating about them going up to 5k, but at least them I could buy one still. x_x

But since the prices have gone up, I told him to stop giving me some since his supply was basically cut in half. D:

Most items have gone down in price recently thanks to all the new gold sinks that Gaia's put into place. I went from being worth 1.6 million gold a few months ago to being worth 600k.

Because AI wasn't as high back then, the gold flow was low. 5K back then was like 2 Mil now. Without the circulation that is taking place now, users just earned gold through posting and poll whoring. So basically, inflation has never really changed, just the amount. It may seem harder and people look back and say; "I wish I was around when NM Scarves were only 3K." But remember that odds are, back then you wouldn't have 3K because it was a lot in those days.

I knew someone would bring that up. Just like the real world economy. But stuff currently inflates more than it should. There were no changes in gold circulation, and then boom, NM scarves are how much, 1.4 million of so? Gold seems to be about the same to get for me, I rarely ever play games for gold. I just post. I guess your opinion on A.I. reflects how you get gold.
