^.~ Which do you prefer? The tv show or the books? The actors or the people on the book covers? Which morphing style?

This is the thread to talk about comparisions between the two.. or just information in general ^.~

*Dies choaking on own bile thinking about the TV show*
The only good thing about that thing was Tobias...Yum...
Anyway, as you might be able to tell, I did not like the TV show. At all.
...Ok, so I love the theme song and Tobias was Hawk! (Er...Hawt! H-O-T. I meant hot. I promise.) Tobias was HOT!!! I'm serious! He was way hotter than the cover, in my humble opinion.
Other than that, I prefer the book covers because they look...cooler and don't have the weird sound associated with morphing like on the TV show.
Plus Visser Three doesn't make weird faces while morphing to human...o.O
Oh, and I think the books kick the TV show's perverbial butt, in case you haven't guessed that from all my comments about how BAD it was.
(How, HOW, HOW can you mix up Rachel with Cassie, I ask you?! But I digress...)

..? Rachel got mixed up with Cassie? I didn't know that.. but then again, I only watched the first few episodes, which someone uploaded on Youtube.

I agree, Tobias was awesome on the TV show.

One thing I found interesting about the show was that they had the characters a lot older. I'd guess. 16 or 17? x] That was pretty cool, although I didn't like the choice of actors much except for.. you guessed it, Tobias. Rachel would have been good if she was a bit taller though.. <.<;;;

Yeah, they mixed up Rachel and Cassie in book 12 The Reaction. Instead of Rachel having the allergic reaction to the croc (Or was it an alligator? Whatever...) Cassie had it.
Plus, back when I watched it, I had no idea how old they were anyway. I watched it when it first came out and watched it slowly die, doing a happy dance on its grave. It wasn't until one of the books that Jake said he was 16 and the war started three years earlier that I realized just how young they were.

Oh really? <.<;; I always thought they were about thirteen when the books started since they said something about Tom being in high school and Jake wanting to try out for the basketball team and failing. That'd be.. near the beginning of the year? Or winter? So.. probably thirteen or fourteen..

AH. I can't believe they did that with Rachel and Cassie.. reminds me of the action figures where they had Marco morphing into a lion and one of the other Animorphs morphing something that wasn't her usual battle morph.. <.<;; I saw it and went LIES!! ALL LIES!! xD;

Hm...basketball season and tryouts...Around here Basketball is more of a Spring Semester kinda deal, since football dominates the arena in the fall.
And I was trying to say that I had proof that the Animorphs were thirteen at the beginning, if my earlier word choice was unclear. xd

I only remember one episode & I dont remember barely anything about it... I think that the books rule though.

Yeah? Well...um...*Has no comeback* I guess that's what I get fo' livin' in the South then. *Frowns, thinking of a random ep* I think the worst one I ever saw was the one where Jake's dad (I think) was suspected as a Yeerk and at one point the Anis are tryin' to get into a secured area. Ax was all like
I was like, "WTSP?! OMFG that's the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard!"

I only got to watch a few of the shows but the books are so much better! I guess things are better when you get to imagine them not when some one else creates it visually

@tray: I'm having some difficulty believing they said that. o_O;;;

I agree, reading the books are usually better for me since I get to imagine them. With TV, you don't get to go into the character's head as much, although it's exciting in its own way because you get to see it actually happening xD.

^^~ Do you know how many episodes there were? The TV show was.. all right. I think they did well for what they could do, but I still have issues with it. xD
