The realm of angels and the domain of demons have been at war for thousands of generations. Never in all these years has there been any sign of peace or that of a victor; and as of now, it is quite certain that this war will continue on for many more generations to come. But despite these odds, the angelic and demonic forces continue on, for the side which conquers their enemy decides the fate of the universe.

However, about a thousand years ago, something strange occurred that was never expected. A demon and an angel fell in love. Of course, both beings were made completely different in each way, but some how, their souls were latched as one since the moment they had been created. In hopes that they would be able to live together in peace, the two tried to stop the war, hoping that both sides would give in to allow neither to control the universe. But, of course, the idea was denied and both of the creatures were obliterated from the known universe.

However, their mark was not taken from this plain of existence, for they had a child. Before the two creatures had been destroyed, they hid their child in a land that would be untouched by either the demons or the angels for some time: on the planet Earth. And there the creature grew to become a powerful being. However, news soon spread to both sides of an offspring of the angel and demon. In anger, both factions raced to the planet and immediately battled over the right of the child... causing the planet to end up as a desolate wasteland due to the fierce battles they created.

The offspring, who was named Elijah, saw the suffering that both sides created and went insane. In rage, the creature unleashed its true powers, destroying all the angels and demons that were inhabiting the planet. Knowing only suffering from the battles that had been waged on the planet, Elijah swore that he would destroy everything and then start anew; a universe with neither good nor evil... a utopia.

Both sides tried to fight the creature known as Elijah, but failed each time. Now it has become quite clear that both the angels and demons will have to team up to destroy Elijah, or everything will be lost... will the unity be a success? And if it is, will it last? And if there is no alliance between the angels and demons, then what will be the fate of the universe?

Powers: Chaotic...
Biography/History: Elijah is the offspring of the angel and demon. Before he was found, Elijah lived on the planet Earth, for his parents had hidden him there so that he would be able to live (they believed that he would be safe there). For years, the creature survived in peaceful seclusion until both factions realized of his existence. It was then that the Battle on Earth was waged for many years over whom had the right of his custody. During that time, Elijah watched the destruction created by both the demons and angels overwhelm his home; Elijah had made a connection with Earth, for it had been his home from the beginning. And, after seeing it being ruined, the creature went insane and destroyed all the angels and demons on the planet. Since both sides had taken the only thing that had given him happiness, the creature dedicated his existence to their annihilation and the annihilation of everything...

ANGELS

1.
Username: -FoxyKerri-
Roleplay Name: Lynneth Nymordii
Race: (Angel/Demon)
Affiliation: Reluctantly -for- Alliance
Powers: Rejuvenation
Biography/History: Lynneth was meant from a young age to be a medic, her family having chosen to keep her from the front lines. However, when her powers were discovered, the leaders of her race decided on a different course of action. She began strength training at the request of her superiors, gaining incredible stamina along the way. This made the woman an ideal warrior, placing her in the position that her family wanted least for the woman. Having always been a somewhat indifferent to most things, she was found to be perfect for the angel's molding.
It was found that because of her power, Lynneth's body ceased -aging- once she was fully grown. (Roughly around the human age of 22)
Description: Lynneth
[[ Go ahead and add a pair of smexeh golden wings to that. ]]

2.
Username: CaressOfVenus
Role-play Name: Eris
Race: Angel
Affiliation: For the Alliance
Powers: Bestow peace to one being at a time
Biography/History: A simple, peaceful little angel. Her form never grows taller than her staff, stopping her height at about 4'6". Her cross was given to her by God himself, telling her it was one of the most holiest objects within the clouds. Her small wings are actually quite strong, helping her stay up when she needs to be up. Her appearance shows that she's a young angel, but it's very deceiving, she's actually older than she appears.
Description: Eris

3.
Username: TheSnazzmeister
Roleplay Name: Altrael (pronounced "All-TRAY-El")
Race: Angel
Affiliation: For the Alliance
Powers: Lightning
Biography/History: Altrael is one of the oldest angels, having through skill and strength survived through battle upon battle, campaign upon campaign. Though peaceful by nature (as are most Angels), he knows when it is time to fight and dutifully rides the sky into the fray. He has long been in charge of the formal smiting of people, creating almost on his own the association of lighting with righteous retribution.

His daughter was the angel that mothered Elijah. He had always loved her very much, and was one of the few angels who was sympathetic and accepting of her plea. When her case came before the High Council of Angels, he spoke in her favor and against her execution. Always a thoughtful Angel, her execution caused him to withdraw into his mind and speak even less. He isn't silent, but he's not exactly a big talker either.

Having already endured the loss of his only child, he is mournful of his choice to eliminate his grandchild. However, he sees that it is for the greater good that Elijah be put to rest, and sees that their best chance is through an alliance, even temporary, with the demons.
Description: Not all Angels are created equal. Altrael is very much suited to the stereotype of "gentle giant", towering above the other angels and easily shouldering aside clouds. His slow, ponderous movement masks his strength as a master of lightning. His hair is long and icy white, and he lets it fall as it pleases. His face is weathered and scarred but, in conjunction with the rest of him, it exudes an aura of endurance and indefatigability which has earned the respect of many an Angel. His shoulders are broad and his arms bulky. His torso is like a steel barrel and his legs tree trunks. His boots are light but effective and really shiny. He made them from a material known as white silver, which has all the properties of silver but its color; it is shiny and carries a current and strong but this version is white. This white silver continues up his body, each piece more ornate than the last, until the chestplate, which is fashioned in the way of the Romans, depicting a muscular figure that is actually, in all its Schwarzeneggeredness, less impressive than the body underneath it. He does not wear a helmet, nor does he wear gauntlets, though the white silver also covers his fore- and upper-arms. The only thing that is not white about Altrael is his shadow (not to be racist or anything). His voice is as low as thunder and carries across the heavens when he needs it to.

His eyes are his most notable feature. They are completely white, and crackle with the power of the lightning that he controls. His hands also hum with stored might. Ever so often, a lick of electricity can be seen shooting a few inches from his fingernails and eyes, much as it would from a high-powered Van de Graaf generator.

DEMONS

1.
Username: CaressOfVenus
Role-play Name: Anima Beowulf
Race: Demon
Affiliation: Loner
Powers: Ability to transform into a Finnish Landrace (White goat with short straight horns)
Biography/History: A small demoness had escaped from the demon world soon after the desolation of the planet. Since she didn't have wings and had a very peculiar power, she had to bribe a couple winged demons to help her escape. She had soon made it to Earth, easily seeing the destruction the mixed breed had caused. Thanks to a small herd of goats, she easily lost track of the demons. She's been following the herd of goats around for some tie, changing only when she had to.
Description: Anima

Roleplay Name: Damien
Race: Demon
Affiliation: Against the alliance
Powers: Fire manipulation ("Hellfire")
Biography/History: Damien, to this day, has been the forgotten son of Darius, the demon who had run away with Aurora (the angel) to produce Elijah. Before Darius' crime, Damien had been proud to be his son, for he was a powerful creature and looked upon highly by the demonic kingdom. However, after the production of Elijah, the boy's relation to Darius, much to Damien's relief, was completely forgotten, allowing the demon to start anew. For his entire life, Damien has been working hard to stamp out all ties he has ever had with his father and especially Eljiah, doing his best to keep it a secret.

Unfortunately, Damien was not able to go to Earth to fight for Elijah, for he was looked upon as being too young at the time. However, after the destruction of every warrior on the planet, Damien took it as a sign that it was his calling to end his step brother's life. In addition to this, once Elijah was killed, all connection he ever had with the angels would thus be terminated. But when news soon spread about the possible alliance between the angels and demons, Damien immediately spoke out against it, for it would make it more difficult for him to severe his ties with the angles if they were to become one with them...

Damien sat in his chair of thorns, watching with disgust as the demons around him lashed out at one another, all of them angered by the opinions around them. Even though he loved bloodshed (which was occurring before his very eyes, in fact, much blood had already been spilled on him) he was not in the mood, for he found himself unable. Could that be possible for a demon? Well, it was for Damien. The topic of conversation was on the alliance with the angels and of course, Damien was against it. But for reasons which he needed to keep secret, the demon had to stay out of the debate for he knew that if he got involved, that secret stated above would somehow slip from his lips and then, the embarrassment would be exposed. Not only that, but if it was, there would also most likely be a punishment... and that punishment would be death or torchure.

Trying to hold himself back, the demon watched with longing eyes as another one of his kinsmen was ripped to shreds right before his eyes. Lusting for the blood, Damien closed his eyes, allowing his figure to fall back into the thorns which covered his chair, hoping that he would be able to last the night. "The bastards," whispered the demon as he clenched his fists, rubbing them against the needles around him. "Why is this even a topic of conversation? It is the angles we are talking about... they are what we aren't and we are what they aren't. It is impossible..."

Anima looked about the nearly empty grassland. There were no trees, and no visible body of water. She turned to her herd of goats, watching her new family and smiled to herself. She was never really accepted to much by her famil or many other demons. She had never really felt hate in her life. She was a full blooded demon and her parents were renound for their great horns and power, she didn't match them though. Her horns didn't grow much, nearly almost stopping their growth.

She gave out a small call to her herd as she turned into her goat form. She was actually quite muscular compared to the other Does (females) who were quite thin, especially with their Kids (babies) feeding from them. She easily kept the Bucks (males) from her, seeing as how she was the only one truely capable of finding clean water.

Anima began to trot towards a scent, knowing full well that her family wasn't far behind. She gave out a low bleat, telling the other about a small pond. She comtinued at the rate, soon stopping at the top of a hill. She froze, seeing a pack of wild dogs at the pond. She gave out a small call, telling the does to take the kids far enough, but making sure the old enough bucks would stay and fight.

With the chance of having water, the bucks were ready to fight.

High, high above where the angelic party was having a debate of their own (though, a considerably more pleasant debate than could be said of their counterparts), was the soft howl of gathering winds, and an approaching storm. As the sun shone down upon their citadel, a glint of golden light could be caught by the eye, perfectly still upon one of the Western terraces. However, as the wind picked up, a vague motion revealed this golden object to be very much alive. It turned and began to move toward the inner parts of the palace-like structure, eventually vanishing from outside view.

Her plate boots clanged against the marble flooring as the warrioress moved swiftly toward the main chamber in which the debate was taking place. Upon entring the room, she bowed deeply with an awesome amount of grace to the group present. The conversation, as she assumed it would've been, was terribly borish and calm. Clearing her throat softly to momentarily silence those speaking, a smooth voice rings out.

"There's a storm on the way, my lords and ladies." She begins, resting one hand upon the portruding hilt of her blade that hangs in it's shining sheath at her waist.
"By the look of the clouds, -heavy- with rain." Falling silent, she awaits the customary nod from the leader of the discussion, which she recieves soon after her statement is complete. Turning to leave, along with a few others at her heels, the woman begins preparations to close their usually-open fortress, as to protect against the ominous harsh weather on it's way.

Through the power of some sort of miracle, the debate on the alliance between the demons and angels finally came to a close in hell. However, unfortunately enough for Damien, the decision came in favor for the alliance. And of course, the first step for having a successful one was to have a diplomatic mission with the opposing party. Therefore, a group of demons was chosen for this feat and one of the demons that was chosen was Damien. Of course, Damien himself wanted nothing to do with it because of his situation which involved the angels and Elijah. But, as one would expect, his connection with the angels was kept a secret. So, there was nothing else that Damien could do except to accept the mission.

After the group had been chosen, a message had been sent to the celestial creatures, telling them that a party of demons was coming in one day to discuss the temporary truce. In the meantime, the demon had floated up to the surface of earth, or what was left of it. Even though he had not been present during the battle over his brother Elijah, he could see everything that had happened on that fateful day when the mutant had destroyed both his own kindred and the angelic army. He could hear the cries of the creatures melting away under the power of the creature.... and not only that, but he could also "see" Elijah. Of course, it was just the energy that was left behind, but he could make out the outline of the creature.

"You are actually one with my blood," whispered the demon as he felt the energy of his brother swirl about his image. "I cannot allow my honor to be tainted by your angelic filth. I swear that I will be the one that ends your life. And then I will be free from your hold on me." Clenching his fists, the creature closed his eyes until he heard a voice behind him. Startled, the demon turned to see a creature that seemed to be the color of the darkened sky. Not only that, but his body did not even seem to be solid, but there was no way of even knowing. However, despite this fact, it was clear that the creature had wings, grey hair and eyes that seemed to be brighter than the moon.

"Who the hell are you?" Demanded the demon, taking a step closer to the strange figure before him. However, the creature did not reply. Instead, it just stared into the eyes of the demon, its wings slowly wrapping around its abstract figure. "Answer me!!" Roared the demon, taking another step closer as his fists both became engulfed in flames. But the mysterious figure remained silent. "No one ******** with me..." And with that, the demon raised its left fist and brought it down upon the face of the creature. Unfortunately, for the demon, the attack did nothing. Instead, it was almost as if Damien had just flicked a brick wall, for the creature's face did not even budge an inch and its expression did not change either.

"You are a fool," muttered the voice, after a moment of silence. "I will give you a chance to live... if you just join me. I hate everything that exists in this dimension. Even yourself. However, you are the only family I have... I will let you live if you allow me to cleanse you of your sins..."

"Elijah..." Gasped the demon, immediately taking his fists away from his brother's face. "I will never join you!" Yelled the demon, his eyes burning with intensive fury. "You are the product of something despicable! And what makes it worse, you are of my blood! No! I will never join you... I live only so that I will be the one that kills you!"

"I understand..." Replied the creature slowly, his eyes slowly drifting to the ground. "Then you must understand what I must do..." And with that, Elijah disappeared, leaving the brother alone, again...

Anima looked over to the side, making the dogs convince that something had took her attention. The wild dogs moved quickly, trying to attack the goat leader while they had the chance. The bucks moved their head, heasing pushing the dogs away with their horns. A few dogs landed far, giving out a whimper then a growl.

The demoness moved back slowly, seeing the leader of the dog pack. She had only four bucks with her, but luckily there were only four other dogs. She gave out a huff, lowering her head as she scratched at the dirt with her hoof. She quickly jolted foward, headbutting the dog in the head. She watched as the dog moved away, before the pack ran off.

She gave out a loud, victoreous bleat, being loud enough for the does and kids to hear. She looked back to the direction where they went, easily seeing the group. She moved slowly over to the water, taking deep gulps of water. She gave out a small sigh before she turned back to her normal self.

Anima fanned herself off with her dress, glad she had finally gotten water after a good while.

[[ I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that orange is too obnoxious. ]]

Their fortress secured, it had seemed that the angelic ones were calm for a time. Each being was found indoors as the water began to sprinkle, that is, all save one. And perhaps a half. The golden-winged woman remained outdoors, staring with narrowed eyes toward a place in the clouds where she'd seen movement. At her side, a small child, budding white wings of it's own, stood with curiousity heavy in his eyes.

"Do you see something, mistress?" He asked, his voice high in pitch as the male was still quite young.
Looking down to him with smiling eyes, the woman nods quietly. "I believe so, my young friend. Hurry along inside now, will you?" She replies sweetly.

Just as the youngling had entered the citadel, what the woman had seen came into clear view. A small group of demons, three to be precise, flew her way. Unsure of what to make of them, the female instinctively drew her blade, holding it at the ready should their visit be one of hostility.

As the three darker beings landed upon the terrace, the smallest approached her slowly, to thrust his arm toward her. Gripped within his fingertips was a rolled up, sorry-looking piece of parchment. "To your leader..." The male hissed, releasing the parchment into her now-outstretched hand.

Offering him no more than a nod of understanding, the woman waited stubbornly as they each left in turn. Once they were no longer visible, she turned to carry the message to her superiors, knowing full-well what was said inside.

Damien had searched for quite sometime after Elijah had suddenly disappeared, leaving him only with a threat and the knowledge that Elijah was, in truth, much stronger than himself. After his meeting with his brother, he now knew officially that the rumors and the tales of Elijah's strength was not overly exaggerated. In truth, Damien had hoped that it was only a myth about the massacre on Earth. However, he could now see that every word that he heard was unfortunately not an exaggeration at all; they were all quite accurate. But how was it all possible? How could a hybrid be so powerful? He had come from the same father, so why did he not have such incredible strength? But of course, there was no way of knowing. All he could do was work with what he had. He could either give up and work with the angels, or he could continue on his quest. And, as of now, he was not about to side with the angels.

Sighing, the demon rested his image upon a large rock and looked out upon the desolation that lay before him. Just looking at the destruction made his brother's powers all the more horrifying. Elijah had done all of this in just one moment; he had been able to lay waste to an entire planet with just one thought. And now Elijah was after him. But why hadn't he just destroyed him when he had the chance? Was he waiting for something that he did not know about? It was quite possible. But again, there was no way of knowing.

Cursing, the demon closed his eyes, trying to focus on the countless thoughts that plagued his mind. If he was going to destroy Elijah he was going to have to get stronger. But the question was how. His brother was like a god... he was going to have to do it somehow and fast.

For many hours, Damien troubled over this question until the sun rose high in the sky. From amidst his thoughts, the creature felt the warm rays of the sun fall upon his demonic skin, forcing him to open his eyes and return to reality. For a moment, the creature just stared at the ground, knowing full well that it was near the time where he would have to go with the away mission to speak with the angelic council. "It is time..." Muttered the demon as he pulled himself to his feet. And with that, Damien materialized from the human world back into the demonic realm where he soon met with the group of demons who would accompany him to the gates of heaven.

"Where have you been?" Snorted one demon, who went by the name of Ackbar. "We have been waiting for quite sometime...."

"It is none of your concern," snapped Damien in return, his eyes not even bothering to fall upon his counterpart. "What matters is that I am back. Let us just get this mission over and done with." And as soon as he said those words, the other demons spread their wings and burst into the sky, soon followed by Ackbar and Damien. "It has begun..."

Anima looked about, her long green hair moving slowly in the breeze. She watched as her herd drink their fill of water. She turned, looking out to the dirt covered valley. She gave a weak sigh, seeing just a small amount of grass around the pond. She lowered her head, sitting down next to the pond, giving out a small bleat, telling them to eat as much as they could.

The girl transformed into a goat, and began to eat some grass. In her human-like form, she already had four small stomachs, but grass seemed more appetizing when she was in her goat form. She lifted her head, sniffing the air. She began to move away from the herd slightly, continuing to smell the air.

She looked about, ears twitching. She stopped and looked back to her herd. Her short tail twitched before she moved foward, trotting slowly towards an odd scent. She could sense a demonic aura close by. She stopped, sensing it fade. She gave out a small huff before quickly moving back to her herd. She gave out a small bleat before heading off into the opposite direction of the aura.

As the sun rose from behind heavy black clouds, it's rays piercing through them like bullets, the angelic party was out, awaiting the arrival of their 'guests'. It was somewhat large, perhaps ten to twelve beings all standing in perfect formation, their leader at the head. And all the way in the back was the blonde woman clad in gold, leaning forward upon her blade's hilt, it's tip balanced upon the ground. She was, perhaps, the only one who didn't look... 'proper'. Unfortunately for the angels, she stood out like a sore thumb, the only angel still living with golden wings and armor to match.

Her armor was most assuredly not meant for camouflage, each piece made of a strong golden plate mail, hugging her figure tightly. She looked nothing short of a goddess, in fact, if the sun were to hit her just right. Enormous shoulderpads and breastplate complimented lighter-fit golden leggings. Upon her shoulder, a small tattoo of a skull (made to be a sun) was hidden behind the place where her cloak attached around her neck. However, her cloak holds the same symbol, one which confuses her people significantly.

As the sun rose further, the clouds only darkened to choke it's light. And soon, the day was black with a storm. Again, tiny droplets of rain began to dot the garish white terrace. As they stood, straight and noble in their waiting, most began to lose interest in watching for the demons. Eventually all but one, in fact.
Flawless blue eyes with bright golden flecks danced with mild interest across the skies as the slouching excuse for an angel kept an eye out...

If any member from the angelic party were still interested in the arrival of the demonic group, one would notice, if there eyes were still plastered to the skies before them, that the direction in which the clouds moved had suddenly changed. For, one would be able to plainly see that, the clouds, as soon as they reached a certain point in the sky, would suddenly dissolve to only reassemble in a completely different area of the heavens. This would only last for a few moments however, for, within that strange area which the clouds were unable to pass, that exact section of the skies would soon be filled by a strange phenomenal occurrence: the appearance of a portal. And if an angel, whose patience had been able to withstand a long wait such as the wait that the angelic party had to suffer, saw this, they would immediately know that it was the portal which would lead to the demonic realm. Which could only mean one thing: the demonic diplomatic party had arrived.

As soon as the portal had opened in the heavens, the ten creatures from hell soon emerged, their demented figures seeming to have the ability to freeze the heavens from which they now contaminated with their disgusting images. However, with much hissing and growling, the demons soon made their way over to the awaiting angels, their wings flapping against the rain that now poured around them. For a moment, all of the creatures hesitated before placing foot on the angelic structure from which the angels awaited upon, however, after a few moments of just flapping in mid-air, one demon was soon able to summon enough courage to finally land, which was immediately followed by the rest. Damien, was in fact, the last one to do so and remained in the back, no doubt disgusted by the fact that he was actually near the creatures who now contaminated his blood. In fact, the creature refused to even stare at the angels, his eyes only resting upon the skies around them.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of silence, one of the demons stepped forward, his massive ram-like head bowing to the angels before him. "We have arrived," growled the creature, allowing some saliva to escape his fangs which he did not bother to try and keep covered. "However, I would like it that we immediately skipped to the negotiations, for, I believe that I speak for all of my men, that we are uncomfortable here..." And with those words, the demon rose to his full height, his contorted wings soon wrapping around his image.
