Hicks and I have spoken about revamping the guild to include some form of stats, experience, and levels to fully combat Godmodding. This system would include dice rolling.

If anyone has a suggestion, feel free to reply to this topic. If you're unsure what I'm talking about, please don't post a suggestion wink

I think that to prevent Godmadding we should have some sort of way to be able to kill people or wound them. Here is an example:

Generate a random number 1-100, 65-50 to wound 70-100 to hit and killthe enemy. +10 bonus for snipers, +15 bonus for grenades and rockets, -15 for shotguns.

-or-

Generate a random number 1-100, 10-79 to wound 80-100 to hit and kill the enemy. +10 bonus for snipers and +15 bonus for grenades and rockets.

Well we would have the system set up so you could put all of your experience into being a sniper if you wanted. The higher your skill, the less you would have to roll.... This whole idea is just that, an idea. If we do go through with it, it would take a while to get everything set up.

With things going on, I can barely handle posting in one of the missions we have now, let alone designing a new system. It's just up in the air, we might attempt it, we might not. We wouldn't design anything that would be too complex, we're far too lazy for that wink

If we do come up with this system then it will be really user friendly and not one where you have to do a hellova lot of math. The idea is to be able to add a more interesting aspect to combat and not have it so that three soldiers can take out a whole base.

I hate math so if I help design this system then it will be REALLY easy. wink

I understand where you all are coming from, but I bluntly disagree with this idea. It's a good idea, don't get me wrong, but i don't like it.
