Random Mew Art.

x Mew Mochi, with the DNA of a mahogany glider. As stated in my deviantART post of this, it was meant to be part of an eyecatch-ish thing for my on again/off again doujinshi (and former RP up until my browser died and college ate me) Tokyo Mew Mew Prix Fixe, but I never got around to finishing the other two characters. So... yeah.

x Mew Licorice, with the DNA of a bilby. Hah hah, my namesake got a total makeover. As seen in this dA post, she's a member of the Saint Rose Crusaders now, which would explain the rose emblem on her locket(s). Like Mochi, her human form makes an appearance in the Tokyo Mew Mew a la mode series as one of Berii's random classmates.


x Yeah, new-ish... I tried to mimic Ikumi's comic style a bit. Didn't really work, but... I kinda like it (which is definitely saying something, as I usually hate all of my scribbles). The only thing that bugs me is the shading on her lower legs... or decided lack thereof. I realized something was amiss after I'd merged the coloring layers, but I kind of wanted to get this done, so I left it.

x The "official" profile image for her on the Mew Mew Rebirth website, done shortly before my colored pencils died and my pen met its demise at a concert at the beginning of this month. Not the best picture of her, of course, but... I felt kinda weird for only having a CGI picture of her while everyone else had traditional media images of their Mews. Yay for conformity! :B

x Done with a pen and pencils stol--borrowed from the art building at school. I'm feeling lazy-ish, so... I'll just serve up some copypasta from the theOtaku post.

"Ah... a day late and a dollar short, I guess, but... I figured that Sora might want to know just why I asked about the color of Mew Raspberry's panties last night, so up it goes.

I messed up for Valentine's Day, so I made a Mardi Gras picture to make up for it. The Mews featured are all members of the Mew Mew Rebirth "club"... thing.

RC's Half-assed attempt at a sprite editing tutorial

Without using the basic shapes? Ah...? I do an undersketch; I just erased it for those two 'cause I didn't feel like inking them. In fact, if you look closely at the one of Licorice and her weapon, you can see her head shape under her hair, the ball joints in her arms, a bit of the ball joint in her left hip, a hint of her tail from under the skirts, and the shapes used to start out her feet. I'm quite incapable of drawing much of anything without starting from the bottom (though... I draw the facial features, first, then move on to the rest of the body shapes and such). ^^;

Ah... well, I kinda figured that no one would be all that interested in reading about her, so I never bothered with a proper fanfiction story for her. Fan comic... well, that's another thing all together. I have the plotline planned out from beginning to end, and I've been in the process of trying to make her comic mimic Ikumi's style but... so far, I haven't had much progress. I started three days ago and I only have five pages done (read: sketched and partially inked). XP

@ Chibi: Uh, sure! But, uhm... I kinda changed her outfit slightly. The bow in the middle of her bodice is no longer there, and her sleeves have been shortened into lacy black cuffs that cling to her skin and go from the middle of her forearms to her wrist, then flare out a bit... er... perhaps you should wait until I have a decent sketch of her new form up, at least? XD;;

In the meantime... two new additions; a crapsketch and a Paint henshin, respectively. :3

Wow, your artwork and sprites are amazing! whee I especially like the group picture done with the help of "borrowed" colored pencils and the one where Mew Licorice is holding a rose. The sprites are adorable, I wish I knew how to make them.
