I remember my identity crisis episodes, I still get 'em on occasion, but this is what helps me.
Don't over think it, just relax. Most of the time people get confused about who they are because they think too hard about it and all their thoughts get jumbled up. Go back to the basics, just sit or lie somewhere and relax, perhaps listen to some relaxin' music too. Then think, but not too much, just think slowly about what would make you happy. Most of the time it's somethin' really easy so you skip over it, so don't think to fast. Once you figure it out try to think of what type of person you would have to be to get what would make you happy. How you should act, react, interact, and so on. When you've figured that out, that's who you are. Don't get upset if you act differently then how you think you should, figurin' out who you are is a life long process, believe it or not. Once you figure out who you are and become who you are you are at peace with yourself, and that doesnt' happen over night. Slowly work towards that person you know you wanna be, and never lose sight of it and what makes you happy. Eventually you'll become that person and you'll be happy beyond your wildest dreams!

As for datin', I'll give you a mini rant about why I think people break up so often, and it's no one's fault. Love. Most people believe it's a magical thing that just hits ya and you're happy forever with your one true love. WRONG! Love is sacrifice, commitment, and sometimes painful. You have to sacrifice a few things that make you happy in order to please the other, and by makin' them happy you gain happiness as well. Also, there are always fights but most are caused by either carin' too much and worryin' or just a misunderstandin' and both are unwillin' to step down and agree with the other despite them thinkin' differently (that's my rant about arguin', if ya wanna know more just as). Ya see, so many people watch movies or tv shows or whatever and think that love is just like that, when it's all fake. There is no love that just fits and you both have so much in common that y'all can do what you both want and blah blah blah. That's fantasy and puppy love, not true love.
So many people could make a relationship work if they first understood how it really worked. A lot of people aren't willin' yet to sacrifice a few things or deal with a few arguments because for one, they're in the rebellious stage of their life (it's psychology, believe me) and two, they don't believe that love has to have those things and if in a relationship they come across it it means it isn't good. Mind you, there are relationships that are just bad, so it takes judgment. Anyway, once you know you're ready to sacrifice some happiness and realize that you don't need those things as long as you have love, and to understand that there will be some pretty aweful arguments, then you're ready, and all you have to do is sit back and wait for that perfect someone to come. Remember, whenever you go lookin' for love you'll never find it, you have to wait for it to come to you, because that's where true love lies.

Also, this is just my opinion and it seems to have served me well. Whether it's true or not is up to you, I'm just statin' what I think. 3nodding

well nikki, i believe Semok said it all. As for my own comments...i know how you feel about the identity crisis thing, as i experience it quite a bit...just focus on being a happy person and living your life day-to-day smile

As for dating...I don't know why you're having bad luck with it right now, but I can tell you, I've had my issues with it aswell, and take it from me, one day it'll get better, just keep being yourself and don't change for anyone, none of it is your fault, just like my guy troubles wasn't my fault either. You know, if I were a guy, we would so be together razz xd

I agree Semok, I get along with girls much better than I do guys,and its easier to tell what can make them happy and understand what they are feeling... 3nodding

ya...but it's too bad that most of the bi/lesbian girls here...um...well, they annoy me...because the people i know all smoke and do drugs and stuff, definitely not saying that they're all like that...but pretty much all the girls except nikki who i know who are bisexual or lesbians...like, i don't mind that nikki's bisexual, but id mind if she went out with a girl who wasn't really a good influence, if you guys know what im saying...then again all the guys here are dumb too stare so i don't know, i hope that sometime soon someone will come along who's right for nikki...and hopefully he won't go "MMMMM" when he hugs her xp

ya, i think you might've taken my post the wrong way, i just mean where we live. I actually think that at least 97% of the guys here are jerks. And I have nothing against bisexuality or homosexuality, as i have 2 close friends who are bi; nikki and jake's best friend whitie. It's just that, basically, all the guys that we've met here, and all of the bisexual girls or homosexual girls aren't the greatest examples, or they're just jerks...
