Friends
Lets just be friends,
And say that this is where the fighting ends.
I’ll say I’m sorry to you,
If you say it to me to.
We use to be nice to each other,
We use to look out for one another.
Lets forget about the past,
And lets do it fast.
Long ago our friendship was great,
Now I feel like we’re each trapped on another side of some gate.
We both know in our hearts,
We use to be close friends,
Now its like we’ve broken apart.
We don’t have to shout,
We can work this out.
All true friends could,
And I think we should.
So I guess I’ll tell you once more,
Our friendship is way more important to me then this silly war.
Lets just be friends,
And say that this is where the fighting ends.
