Title: One Pink Scarf

Genre: Romance/Adventure
Small Summary: It's Dawn's birthday, and life is going on as usual for Brock, Dawn, and Ash. Ash has a battle when the gang runs into Paul, then later everyone gets separated when an ambush by Team Rocket backfires in a massive explosion. Dawn awakens half-drowned on an unknown shore next to Buizel, who's pokeball was busted during the explosion and was able to rescue her. Ash, who is unconscious nearby, is missing all of his pokeballs, as is Dawn. They eventually determine that they are lost, and must fit their basic survival needs before they can do much else. However, it isn't long before an ominous presence takes hold of their island and begins wreaking havoc, endangering the lives of both, but also bringing them closer together.

I absolutely love this story. The characters are COMPLETELY in character and the "ominous presence" is actually a very fitting plot twist. The author also does a fabulous job of making the readers wait for the romance, and she doesn't throw it in your face, either. An excellent fanfiction if there ever was one. heart
