What is Gens Umbra? What is it about?
Gens Umbra is based slightly on the Japanese Mafia Called the Yakuza. The Yakuza are the largest Organized Crime Families in the world. One day we hope to be the largest Of Gaia, but we have a long ways to go!
Gens Umbra has four Families Called Houses, each House has a Head Leader, Alphas, With a pyramid of generals and lieutenants under them. Each House Leader chooses how their family will be run, and who can join them. Each Family must respect the other, even if you dislike them, or your house is at war with another house. Fighting if caught is punished by the Houses Leader. You are punished twice, once for fighting, and disrespecting the other House. and Second for being caught disrespecting the other house. Consent Fights are the only way to fight with out punishment. these are held in an arena, and are sanctioned by the two house leaders. You must have the House leaders sanction in order to fight an opponent of another House. Verbal Consent is allowed if there are two members of the same house.

Gens Umbra. Who are they? what does it mean?
Gens Umbra is in Fact the name for our group in real life, Its consisted of a few people that liked the same stuff and hung out all the time, We always defend each other and kept to a code of honor. Gens Umbra Seemed a fitting name, seeing as most of our starting members are in fact real life members of Gens Umbra.
Gens Umbra Means in English Clan Shadow. we keep to our selves, and no one really knew, or knows of us. we did what we wanted and when we wanted, always never getting caught. we were and are, in all aspects Ghosts of the world.

What do we do here? What is the point of here?
Gens Umbra is a roleplaying guild, ment to have the air of an organized crime family much like the Yakuza in real life. Here each member has their own duties given to them by their house leader. The atmosphere is one of trust only among your house, and to respect the leaders of the other houses. Small wars take place as houses don't always see eye to eye. The whole of Gens Umbra takes place under Barton's streets. here the Crimanls have come together to join in a common cause of creating easy money for nothing. Civilians are just sheep to the members of Gens Umbra. Each House has a certian feel and unique way that things are done.
