As you step up to the standard building, you see the bright neon sign displaying the lounge's name.

The Wolf Cave

You can hear music playing, but not the usual club beats or dance floor jams. Stepping in, you're welcomed by a dimly lit place. There are sofas with low tables everywhere. The lights are of soothing shades: blues, soft greens, purple. There's a bar along the right wall, the wall behind it lined with sodas and other beverages.
In the center is a spaceous area for people that feel like letting loose to some music.

So, now you know the layout.
Here are some rules that we'll ask you to abide by:
Rule 1: Follow the usual Gaia rules, right? TOS and whatnot.
Rule 2: Respect EVERYONE! Pleeease!
Rule 3: PG-13, I suppose. Gotta keep in clean, just in case.
Rule 4: Try not so much with the romance. This is a place for relaxation and character development!
Rule 5: Cursing and other vulgar language at a minimum. Even if you hear it every day (like I do), doesn't mean others want to hear it.
Rule 6: Try to keep it literate... Please? ^^ I will love you all for forever if you do!

Right, so?
Just to keep things simple, here's a character outline we'll ask you to use while posting here:
Name:
Age:
Race: (Just in case you wanna have a wolf, cat, hybrid, human, whatever!)
Looks:

Bio and Personality slots aren't required on the character chart... Simply because they're usually the aspects of a character that needs the most help with development. In your mind, imagine a basic thing to go by, and go from there, eh?

So, this place is all about chillaxing and simply having fun. It is for roleplaying, though... So if you wanna get down with your OOC self, we've got the Peanut Gallery in the general discussion subforum, and many others! Wootwoot!

And now, I introduce your hosts:
Name: Ptolo
Age: 17
Race: Half Human, Half Wolf
Looks[Subject to Change]: A slender young male(confused for a female), and tall. Pale skin. Bright blue eyes, shaggy black hair to his shoulders. The ends are silver. Black ears(Fuzzy!<3), silver tips. Long tail. Clothes are always either white or black, and on the form-fitting side.
Played by Memories Tear the Heart

And...

Name: Chace
Age: 17
Race: Half-elf
Looks: Femanine, petite, and slender. Shoulder length brown hair, bright blue eyes. Ears still slightly pointed, but not overly noticable. Wears comfortable clothes. Is female.
Played by Apprentice Puppy-chan

Alright! So, with all that out of the way, let's get this show on the road! How 'bout it!?

A tall, almost girlish figure swept through the bar, sweeping up glasses in long arms as it went. Walking lithely to the bar, he stopped, dropping the glasses on the table with a pretty frown. "Hmm hm hmm..." He hummed, a catchy tune. He tucked a stray strand of hair behind his ear, and turned around on his heel, hurrying off to wipe the tables down. Single minded work made life a lot easier.

He grabbed a clean dish towel from a drawer, and wet it. He wrung it out, squeezing as hard as he could. Satisfied, he moved off with a smile. "Clean...When was the last time this was clean?" He wiped down the tables earnestly. Musn't upset the slobby customers. Well...He paused, and chewed his lower lip thoughtfully. Last night's bunch WAS rather roudy...He smiled, slightly. It had been fun though. He sighed, dramatically. Even if he did have to clean this all up.

Wait...Shouldn't he have a little help here? Where was that elf girl? The wolf-boy's ears flicked in annoyance. "Gyah...Chace!" He growled. Why did he have to work alone? This was rather...aggravating. "She's running late, that's it!" Yes. Not every one slept on a rag in the corner of the bar...But that was just his silly animal instinct coming out. Besides...He never really like soft mattresses anyway...

He jumped, hearing laughter outside. "Shooooot! That's right; it's getting close to openin' up time!" He hastily scrubbed the tables, wiping off crumbs and extra liquid and such.

Tossing the dish towel in the sink, he set up rows of glasses on the bar, and got out the liquor. Straightening the sign that said, "Humans must have ID", he perched himself on a bar stool, wondering what he had forgotten this time. He knew he had to have forgotten something...

Chace hurried in through the back entrance of the lounge. She hastily slung her jacket on a peg behind the bar and attempted to straighten her hair.
"Ah geez, Ptolo!" She chirruped, giving the wolf-boy an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I'm late..."

She swung around the bar towards the stereo near the dance floor. As she popped in a few CDs, she looked back at Ptolo and shrugged.
"Again." she added weakly.

As she made sure the music and the lights were working properly, she leaped into an elaborate explanation as to why she was late again. Some lengthy story about how her dog got out, her neighbor was having trouble getting the groceries in, and then her parents calling to check up on her. When she realized that Ptolo probably wasn't going to take the bait on the little white lies, she sighed and pushed her hair out of her face.
"Alright! I forgot to set my alarm, over slept, was running late getting ready, then got side tracked on my way here.." she admitted, smiling brightly.

Checking her watch, she looked anxiously at the door. She could hear people outside, but wasn't sure if it was the usual crowd.
"Openin' time, eh?" She uttered, clapping her hands soundly together. "Let's get this party started!"
She walked over to the door and flipped the deadbolt, unlocking the unextraordinary door to outside visitors.

Ptolo's ears twitched. As if that hair would stay straight...He gave a wave, and straightened to watch as she set up. He didn't bother with music and such. He had no ear for it. But he could cook, he could clean, he could dance, and he could charm. He flicked his tail, and murmured, "Hello Chace..." But she had already began talking.

During this long narration, the tall boy had folded his arms, attempting to look serious and stern. Vague thoughts of scolding her about her work ethic slipped his mind, and he soon began to stare blankly at the wall as she kept talking. As she moved her hair, he blinked and focused on her face. "Mmm? Ooooh...Don't worry about it." He assured her in his soft voice. "I did just fine on my own." Yep. He ran a hand along the bar. "Ehh..." Now he remembered what he had forgotten.

He quickly wiped the bar down, scrubbing at a few water rings. Party? Oh, yes! People...Lot's of people, filling the place...His bushy tail flicked anxiously. If anyone tugged his tail, even once...He tossed the towel away.

He swung his legs over the bar, and walked over to the door with her, leaning against the wall. He was somewhat excited...These people did sound different than last night's customers. He sighed. Pure humans could be so pushy sometimes...and when they got drunk! Those people simply COULD NOT hold their liquor!

Chace sighed, straightening her shirt and giving her hair another pointless pat. She spun away from the door, giving the lounge a scrutinizing sweep before being willing to allow customers in. Everything looked in order, tip top condition.
"Hopefully tonight's bunch will have some decency..." she muttered, remembering the other night's roudy humans. The lounge was in shambles after they left. "And this time--If anything does go wrong, I'll be the one to clean it up. It's my turn, after all. You got last time."

She added the last bit to Ptolo, offering a smile. He'd cleaned up the mess from the other night while she shooed the drunken humans off. Both jobs were difficult, but Ptolo had the worse one that night, by far.

She looked back at the door and took another glance at her watch. It was opening time. Surely, if people wanted in, they'd open the door, right? They were a lounge, didn't have to leave the door wide for people to know they were open... right? She unlocked the doorknob lock this time, and opened the door a little, just to make sure people knew they weren't closed any more.

"Maybe we could get a little neon sign like all those little shops have..." she muttered as she stepped towards the bar. She waved her hands up in front of her as though symbolizing a sign. "'Yes, we're open!' it could say."

She giggled at her thought and sat on a bar stool, though watched the door almost nervously for... anybody to come in.

Slender fingers curled around the door knob, each finger nail was painted a pale pink. As she pushed open the door she looked around. It was quite, and she liked it. All the noise from the streets buzz made her ears ache with pain. She had been looking for somewhere to cool down, somewhere she could have fun and relax with out wincing at every loud beat the amp's would pound out.

As she slipped through the door, she caught a glimps of her self in a mirror, her ears propped neatly on her head, blending into her dark hair that fell fow to her waist. She was wareing a dark blue shirt, one sleave reached loosely around her wrist while the other had been torn clean off. Her legs where covered in tight fitting jeans, also a dark blue apart from the wrighting written down her left leg in bright pink. It read 'a wolf is a free spirt' side ways to her ankle. that leading onto net black trainers.

Ayane flicked her ear as she picked up on other 'people' being here, she had been so spaced out at the calmness of this place that she had forgotten she had entered a lounge. Thats it 'The Wolf cave' it had been called, and it must have been the name that called to her, her tail flicked gentally as she looked over to the female in the bar "um...hello" she said some what nerviously.

"Hello, new face," said a girl in the corner of the room. Her legs neatly crossed, and eyes filled with friendliness, Aleace hoped she gave the girl a nice statement. She had been sitting here for a time now, sipping hot tea, and just watching others walk in and out.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 11, 2007 7:48 pm

Chace was leaning against the bar, casually examining a glass. She looked up when she heard the door open, and voices. A new customer! Someone that hasn't been here before!

Aleace was the first to greet the new girl, which Chace didn't mind. The half-elf gingerly picked her way around a few tables to pop up next to the wolfen femme.

"Hiya! Welcome to the Wolf Cave!" she chirped, beaming excitedly. She gestured to the many tables. "Have a seat anywhere and just holler if you need something!!"

It was her customary greeting to new people. She sometimes wondered if it was too strong and too... up-in-their-face. But she never wondered long, as her mind seemed to forbid prolonged thinking over one topic.

Ptolo smiled as the new customer walked in, and Aleace greeted her. "Heh heh..." For the first time in a while, Chace didn't get the patron first. He waved to the wolf girls back. For a minute...He was afraid she was going to hit him with the door.

He walked over to the bar, and swung himself onto it, sitting on the edge. He made up a friendly face, and waved again, now sure that he wasn't going to get his nose smashed in. He shook his hair out of his eyes, and one ear twitched. He needed to cut his hair...stupid cells, inadvertently tickling him.

"Eh....What she said!" He called, pointing at Chace. He swung his legs, forward and back, forward and back as he waited for something to do. He blinked, and then pulled his tail out from underneath him. He glared lightly at it. "Wondered why I felt a random pain..." He smiled, and went back to looking around the bar.

"Lehlahlaoo..." He hummed.

Smirking with a small snicker, Aleace looked to Chace who had so genuinly greeted the new girl and shook her head. "You better watch out, Chace. You might scare her away with getting into her face like that," she said, kind'ave figuring she was thinking along the lines of what she said. She rolled her empty cup around the table absentmindley with her hand, going into deep thought about different topics.

Ptolo jumped up, and went into the back. He returned with a tea pot. He walked over to Aleace's table, and held it up questioningly. "Tea?"
PostPosted: Sat Apr 14, 2007 5:49 pm

Nodding with a smile, she put her cup next to the pot that Ptolo had. "Thanks, Ptolo," she said, and sipped it silently and had a pleased look on her face. "You always have the tastiest tea".

He smiled, and picked back up the pot. He walked away, calling over his shoulder with a little smirk, "That's what happens after you become a housewife." He laughed, and went to put the tea pot away. He thought for a moment, then paused, pouring himself a cup. He returned, and sat at the table with Aleace, drawing the chair out from the table.

"How was it going home last night? Not too bad?"
