Mao's Last Dancer by Li Cunxin - It's an auto-biography about a boy who gets randomly chosen to become a dancer at Beijing Dance Academy where he studies [mostly] Ballet! It's around the time of Chairman Mao's reign in China ^^

Interesting book, I'm not sure where it's been released though... ♫

YAH! People are responding! *Happy jig* AAAAANY way, sounds really interesting, I really like Mao era fiction. One thats not fiction but an autobiography that was really good (If not Really easy) Was "Red Scarf Girl" Talks about a young girl growing up in china during the peak of his reign and how her Burgiose(?) Family history led to some serious issues.

What's that one about question

A famous author tells a young biographer about her past: a past people have been trying to learn for years. I doubt, after hearing it all, that they'd want to. wink
It's so supenseful!!! And near the end, it totally turns itself around and startles you. whee Awesome book.
