Life Reflected

The shattered mirror lay before me.
Eyes are full of tears…life’s so blurry.
All the broken pieces lay on the floor,
I can’t take the cursed life anymore.

Everything that happened had been a living Hell.
Bloodlust and jealousy was all I could ever smell.
With a shard in my hand, I start to cut,
And at that moment all my memories became unshut.

My friends were so cheerful and kind,
If only all the lies didn’t make me go blind.
Then I saw my parents being beheaded,
Now all that remains are those beds which stay blooded.

And then you appeared with a shining glow.
I wish you would hold me like so long ago.
When you had left me, my heart turned to stone,
Everything that mattered had left me alone…

I lie here now remembering these things,
Only feeling all these sharp stings.
The winds are so chilling, blood splattered on the floor.
I’m wishing my life was how it was before…

I look at myself at the shattered mirror,
Knowing the end of my nightmare draws nearer and nearer…
