What's going on!?

Star managed to twist an ankle and fight leading to her suspesion and ruining her chance of going into a kickboxing match. Eirias seems desperate to leave his Tome, at least that's what Star think all the slashes on the Tome signify...

**The other day, Star went back to the bookstore and came out with something in her arms. Turns out Melody gave her one of her Plushie Ponies and told her it was Lust. Now she's wondering if her new ponie, Cariad, and Eirias will get along...

So...

Well now that I bought your Tome, I have to decide on a name don't I? I've been looking through some of my favorite books (yah I read...kinda surprising actually), and I found one...

Eirias.

Like it? It means big blaze in whelsh, like a huge fire. I love fire, its so powerful, it can destroy anything. Sounds guyish, but I guess it can go either way. By the way, I really hope you turn out to be a guy, dunno what I'd do if you were a chick...

Ah crap! I can hear mom screaming for me to hurry up and get my butt downstairs. Gotta head to Kickboxing class, got a big match coming up, not that I'm fussed, but everyone else sure is.

If I really wanted to, I'd KO the chick five seconds into the first round.

Bye Eirias!

(Later that evening)

Arms are sore, right leg is cramping, exhausted, and by the feel of it, I'm getting a black eye...

I love it!

Kickboxing is the love of my life, who needs a relationship whe you have that? Ah, I keep forgetting you have no clue what that is...Dammit...how do I explain?

Well it's a sport, that involves two people punching and kicking at each other until time runs out, but they can't just jump on each other and start killing, there are rules. No tackling, all the fighting has to be standing up, you can't kick the other person in the groin area, and the only weapons you are allowed to use are your hands and feet. Depending how well you fight, you win, OR you can always knock the other person down, if you do they have 10 seconds to get up, if they can't you win.

Kickboxing doesn't take long, 9 minutes at most, just three rounds, but damn, can it get bloody! That's actually the best part, you don't get in trouble for how hard you hit your opponent, it's survival of the fittest, only the strong win.

Some say that it is against human nature to force yourself to fight another. Those people are stupid. Don't they realize, we too are animals? The only difference is that we have thumbs. And like Darwin said, survival of the fittest, and this is one way we prove his theory right. Besides, every human has bloodlust inside of them, they are just to weak to let it out.

Those type of people never last long.

Peple like me, those who don't hide that fighting instict are the ones that come up on top. You don't see CEO's (important people in companies) get where they are by being polite to everyone.

I want to be like them, I want to be on top.

I want to be the ultimate fighter.

But to get there I need to work my a** off, can't wait. (Dunno if you can see the grin on my face.)

April 5 2007
6:00 p.m

Today sucked.

I was walking with one of my friends and we were talking about random issues, work, school, our respective gyms, etc. Then he mentioned his current relationship issues (he has no girlfriend but is interested in someone). It was going fine until the point when he said,

"You know, there are 5 guys who like you, but will never ask you out."

Obviously I made him explain himself, and he told me the reason why they wouldn't ask me out...

I'm too much of a tomboy.

What the HELL!?!?! What is wrong with that? It's the way I am, so that means I can be their best friend, but I'm not girlfriend material? It was even worse when he told me that one of the five is my closest friend, and happens to be the guy I like.

IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!

I hear their problems every day. I know the type of girls they hate, the ones who can't stand up for themselves, who don't like or understand sports, and are afriad to get down and dirty once in a while. So what's wrong with me? Is my personality defunctional or something?

It's so stupid.

So now I have two choices Eirias. Either do a 180 on myself, or keep going the way I am and hope that one day I might be able to get a boyfriend...

I know I know I said before "Survival of the fittest" but things like this, friendship, relationships...I'm real concientious about. I pride myself in being a good, no great, friend., maybe one day a great girlfriend...I'm always caring for my friends, but when I start thinking about my own realtionship issues and trying to actually get into one...it goes downhill.

I just looked at my clock and it's 6:30 right now. Practice is at 7 so I gotta go change.
Time for some punching bag therapy.

That evening 9:00 p.m.

Practice was ok. I thought it would help more but it didn't. I went all out, accidently gave my partner a bloody nose (ok...maybe it wasn't THAT accidental) She grins slightly at the memory before writing again. Coach screamed at us about control for a good half hour, then we just left. There was some relief when I punched the girl's nose, but it wasn't enough. Instead of my mom picking me up, I just ran home and grabbed a chocolate shake while I was at it. Anything sweet is taboo right now, but I really don't give a damn, I even have my one of my fave CDs on right now. It's a collection of classical music from these amazing musicians (Mozart, Bach, and alot more I can't remember). When you get a head, I'll show you how my CD player works so you can use it whenever you want.

This music and chocolate is helping alot, but I still feel that urge to punch something...after I finish writing I'll get one of my pillows, or maybe run around the block...the latter sounds better for now. Maybe I just need fresh air...

Tucking the pen in her pocket, Star closed the Tome and carried it with her downstairs and placed it gently in her bag. Hanging it on her shoulders, she began to run around her nieghborhood, the cool night air colling her down considerably. After 30 minutes, she arrived at a clearing with a few trees and stopped so she could write again.

That feels ALOT better. If you can't kill anyone, go for a run, far away from the stupid people in your life. haha. Keep that in mind for later Eirias, I have a feeling you're gonna use that advice alot, if you're anything like me that is, or worse...

April 6 2007
12:30 p.m.

Welcome to my school Eirias! It's big, noisy, and filled with about 4,000 immature minds. There are a few good points, but sadly not enough to make me enjoy the time I spend here. There's too little focus on sports, well girl sports at least, noone cares about the music program, and the weight room is pathetic. All the things that matter in life have no value here.

Right now it's lunchtime, and I'm beginning to get a headache. The cafeteria is way too loud.

Getting up from the table she was currently sitting at, Star began to make her way to the exit, pausing along the way to talk to a few of her friends. She found herself a shady spot outside and began to write again.

Much better! I can hear a few of my friends heading this way so I'll make this quick. I just wanted to tell you that either later today or tommorow I'm heading back to the bookstore and getting your tome etherized. That crazy-looking cat thing I met there told me to go back after a couple days, whenever I think it's time for the treatment. If I don't go today, for sure I will tommorow...

Two guys approach her and sit down next to her offering some food. Before she takes some, she turned her attention back to the tome in her hand.

That's Jason and Ken. You'll meet them soon enough.

Later that afternoon
4:00 p.m.

30 minutes left till school's over.

Right now I'm in English. It's an ok class I like the readings we get and some of the poems. We had to write a passage and it has to deal with a poem or a story. I did a kind of narrative, it's real short. I liked it, one of my best works and I wanted to show it to you, here it is:

"Who are you!? Who are you!?"

Jumping, dancing, laughing. The stones confining the stairs echoing the question. The wild-eyed beauty dancing between the men,
Jumping,
dancing,
laughing.

Throwing her body to the her right, she whispered into his mouth.
"Who are you? Who are you?"

She was led to the top of the tower, a busty figure against the blood red sky. All solemn save for her,

Jumping,
dancing,
and laughing.

Body forced to kneel, the mass of hair covering her face. A steely light feet above her neck, but she was still asking,

"Who are you!? Who are you!?"

Swish, Fttt!

Thud,
Thud,
Thud.

Life ended with a bang...and not a whimper.

Like it? I got the idea from the poem, The Hollow Men. I should write it in here some time.

After school I'm taking the Tome back to the bookstore to get etherized.

Then we'll see how you turn out.

April 8,
4:00 p.m.

"Watcha got there Star?"
Star looked up at her friend Jason, a tall blonde youth with a curious gaze which was looking down at the tome in her hand.

"It's my desire." she told him quietly, even though they were heading towards her house she was worried about someone overhearing. So far, Jason was the only one who knew about the bookstore and what she discovered there. Her hand gently touched the letters on the cover smiling slightly.

"See you at practice." she told him distractedly as they arrived at her front door. Waving, he left, and she went inside, heading towards her room.

I kinda expected for you to be etherized for wrath. I read the descriptions at the bookstore and it seems Wrathful desires are the hardest to help bring to this world...

I'll try my best to get you completely here...just don't kill me or my friends and family and we'll get along fine. haha.

Ack! Mom calling me down for lunch...ugh when will she ever stop?
