I am starting to like the pairing, but it is taking a while.
At first they did not seem so perfect together because he was all sad and depressed and Machi is a very sad person, so two sad people together doesnt really make anything.
But Yuki got better in the series and more happier so than Machi was the only real sad person.
They had cute moments together but at first I thought Machi was just a depressed Tohru lookalike, or just a replacement since Tohru was obviously going to be with Kyo. Yuki needed someone in the end too.
In my opinion I think it would have been great if Yuki ended up with no-one. The prince ends up with no-one in the end, how unexpected. xD

i DO like machi... and the fact that shes so adorabley quiet is good for yuki....

I think it would of been great if tohru would of died and kagura would of been with kyo and then yuki would of killed himself because he missed tohru so much^________^

but then there would be a hell of a lot of angry people....
and tohru DOES make kyo happy...
stare even though kagura is dead sexy and kyo and kagura would of had gorgeous childrens....

WHY KAGURA! WHY COULDNT YOU KEEP YOUR LOVE FOR KYO TO A NON VIOLENT LEVEL!?!?!?!?!

its ok though... all in all the yuki[ scream ] machi pairing is awesome....

In a way, I think Machi and Tohru are kind of alike.
But yes, I liked the Machi-Yuki more than Tohru-Yuki.
