(this is the letter sent to me by the organizer of the idea) Greetings I am Sir John Knight the owner of the Legion of the White Knights I have a proposal for you I want to form a GAGA (Gaia Knight Guild Alliance) where all the members would benefit from it. For one we can have our members join the other Guilds in the alliance. Two we can run multiple guild contests. Plus more if and when the GKGA is formed would you be interested in joining?
This is the letter i recieved yesterday regarding a guild alliance. I'd like to know what all of you think about this. My plan, is to join, attract more members, then break awya once we have a sufficiant number.

I think we should join, it provides opportunity for growth and may help us to get new members.

I don't really like it. I like our happy band of ragtag warriors. If we want to attract more members....we just need to put an advertisement in all of our sigs and post a lot. plus I think they'll be sore if we just stay with them for a little while...from what I gathered of the letter, they want to bond permanently. I don't really like it.....but you are our fearless leader and I will stand behind your decision and support you.

I agree with Hiphistus we should keep to our normal routine. Most of our warriors(Knights) have gotten to know each other pretty well with just the few members we have if we join up that means that we will have so many members wanting to join up with our guyild giving us less and less time to get to know our brothers and sister in this guild.

I agree with Hiphistus. I mean, it wouldn't hurt to join a larger guild, but I like the guild we have now. I also agree with red-moons comment about getting to know members. If we joined and had a swarm of recruits ask to join, we wouldnt get a chance to ge to know the other members well. I like having a closer bond with the other members.

I put in an official vote of no in the poll. I just think it would be a good idea to not make them our enemy or anything like that, and consider them not jsut neutral but even friendly to teh guild, but I dont think we should associate with them as either joining the association or as having them as allies. I think strength in teh guild is built from within and we dont need a huge guild if everyone in our guild is strong enough. I am not saying we can't have anymore members, but we should be selective about it and keep it to ourselves.

After hearing all of your arguments, I have decided there is more to gain by not joining rather than joining. I have decided to vote no.
