Hello, everyone. I still haven't come out to my mom, but I'd like to sneak at least some boys clothes into my closet when I get my hair cut, so I was wondering about binding. Buying a binder is out of the question, as are tape and bandages because they're terrible. I was wondering, is my chest small enough that a sports bra would do the trick of making them look like pectoral muscles instead of breasts?

Rib Cage (right below the chest): 33 inches around
Chest: 29 inches around

Note 1: I'll delete this once I've found something simple to help bind.]

Update 1: I somehow completely screwed up my measurements. I redid them, now, though. The messed up ones are gone.

i use sports bras when i am not binding, they do help.

the frog bra is one of the best sports bras for binding. it's kinda expensive though. =/

I am in about the same situation as you! Well, I'm sure about size, I'm about between a B-C in sports bra, and here's my technique:

Over a normal bra I use a tight sports bra, and over that a long small undershirt-camisole shirt that i roll up and put the rolled up material under my boobs. I do this to cause the (baggy) shirt to, instead of curve, just go flat down the chest, so they look like muscles.

Those measurements would put you at less than an A cup. So, a decent sports bra would likely be all you need to bind. Perhaps even just a baggy shirt would cut it.

Thanks everyone. For now, I've just asked mum to buy me a tight sports bra. I'll see if that works when she gets home.

I have an A cup and a tight sports bra does work well for me, though I have had to double them up depending on how stretchy they are, so if one doesn't work maybe tell your mom that it fits perfectly and that you would like another?

Though I am not classed as a transgendered person I do like to look more guyish some days, it makes me happy.

Unfortunately, it wasn't tight enough. I tried doubling them up, too. I'll try getting another one some time.
