just love writing funny poems for children. One of my biggest inspirations is Spike Milligan. xD
Anyway, here's some of my poems. Some of them are completely random and I swear I was hallucination when I wrote them or something. O_O But...Enjoy~!
-----
A dragon and a Phoenix got up one day And found a game for them to play. Death came up on a motorbike, Almost crashed and hit a pike. I did a tap dance on a shack, Slipped and fell and broke my back.
A penguin staring at a wall Sitting like a lemon. Pining for a game of ball With its best friend, Gennon.
Under the hedge Over the top Up to the fence The rabbit did hop. Onto the road Avoiding a toad It got squished by a passing car.
A mockingbird Is a wonderful thing. It may not talk But it sure can sing. Without its voice It would have no choice But to attack and devour people.
There's a hole in the sole of my sock. Its presence is not there to mock. For without this hole Surrounding my sole My foot would look like a block.
I am Mr Random Random is my name One day I'll quit with poetry And start my road of fame.
I thought I saw Beside a tree An enormous hole That startled me. This hole I saw Was on the floor. I felt quite scared And grabbed a stick. Its darkness was quite thick; I gave my torch a flick, When up came an almighty roar, "Is anyone there?" Said the floor. I gave a jump My head went bump And down I went Into the giant vent. Falling. Falling. Splat.
The frog looked left. The frog looked right. He saw a cat. It gave him a fright. Hopping away, He lived to see Another day.
One sunny day, Not far away, I ate a pie And saw a mango In the sky. The mango floated up to me And asked if I Would come to tea. "Of course!" I said to he, "That sounds simply great to me!" We set off To a dazzling place In which the mango Grew a face. The face was funny (Looked like a bunny) But all the same, It wasn't to blame. "We're here!" Said the mango. I didn't reply Beacause I saw A giant fly. "Do you eat pie?" I asked the fly. It buzzed and fluzzed and gave a sigh, "To eat pie Is a wonderful feat But now I have no streangth to eat." The mango quickly beckoned me, "Come, come," it said, "And have some tea." The tea was a delicious tang Of leaf and heath and mirangue. There was no finer tea ever made. It left a tase that would never fade. "Goodbye!" cried mango, "And come back soon! Make sure you come At the next full moon!" I nodded and bowed, Danced round and round. Soon I was gone Left once more To eat pie.
There's a little fish In the deep blue sea He likes to swim And he plays with me. His name is Fred And his colour's red. His favourite place Is his coral bed.
Rushing and roaring, Splashing and soaring We frantically ride the waves Thunder and lightening, Its getting quite frightening, We're slowly sent to our graves.

It sounds like you sometimes get off your pentameter but these are sadistically cute. I'm going to start reading my nephew the one about the rabbit.
