Skills are minor abilities which your character trains his/herself in. At each level, your character gains skill points depending on your class and your intelligence score.

Maximum ranks in any one skill is equal to your level+3.

Climb: self explanatory

Concentrate: ability to focuse on spellcasting when distracted

Craft (insert craft): ability to build/repair objects

Decipher Script: ability to understand cyphers and codes

Diplomacy: persuasion skill

Disable Device: disable traps etc.

Disguise: self explanatory

Escape Artist: ability to wriggle free of ropes, people, etc.

Gather Information: ask around for information on a topic

Handle Animal: ability to tend/train/command animals

Heal: first-aid and non-magical health-care

Hide: self explanatory; opposes spot

Intimidate: ability to "coerce" people

Jump: self explanatory

Knowledge (insert knowledge): Knowledge of a selected field

Listen: self explanatory; opposes move silently

Move Silently: self explanatory; opposes listen

Open Lock: self explanatory

Perform (performance type): ability to play an instrument/sing/tell stories

Profession (job): Skill in a job

Ride: ride an animal

Search: find stuff such as secret doors and traps

Sense Motive: detecet lies

Sleight of Hand: ability to make objects "disappear" and to pick pockets

Speak Language: each rank gained allows character to learn one language

Spellcraft: ability to recognize spells and magical effects

Spot: ability to notice people/objects by sight; opposes disguise and hise

Survival: ability to survive in the wilderness

Swim: self explanatory

Tumble: ability to safely tumble past opponents and perform gymnastics

Use Magical Device: ability use magical items you normally couldn't

Use Rope: ability to tie/untie knots and other rope-related skills.
