Contest entry! Cause I wanna win an Incantation of the Spirit D: I need some tips as to how to go about making this look very water color-y (aside from the obvious 'use the water brush tool silly!' suggestion). It's mostly how to go about inking it that I'm concerned with.

Maybe don't ink it at all? I don't know, but I think lines would make it less watercolor-y... I'm not sure though, don't listen to me D:
very nice so far though <3

Mmm, do you have any sort of brush that could give you lines like these?
That's the Watercolour tool in Painter Classic. Anything that leaves a sort of texture-y look under black, and makes it just a little bit grey looks a lot like it was inked in black watercolours or slightly watery ink. 8V I don't know if you have anything that can do that, but it's an option! I just know that perfectly opaque black lines would look sort of not-watercolour-y.
The picture is super adorable, by the way! ;o; Is it for one of those little adoptable guys so many people have in their signatures? Cuuuuuute~

I just went over the sketch with a pencil tool and started coloring it in, I don't really like how it's coming out though D: *sucks at lighting*
I'm hoping to get my Incantation of Music out of this contest so I'm being hella crazy over this @_@
