Hi biggrin I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread for people to post links to various travel diaries that are out there on the web. I've seen some good ones, and reading them/looking at the pictures gives a really clear, up close look at what it's like to actually go to a place - joys, sorrows, and all. So, maybe travel diaries are more helpful than travel brocures - which tend to make everything sound wonderful and perfect. sweatdrop Of course, travel diaries and destination reviews by travelers are more likely to contain personal bias ... but still ... I think that there is much wisdom to be gained from real-life travel stories and pictures. ^_^
