Do you guys have vapire LARPs according to the Witewolf system?
In Sweden, Vampire is really diffrent to play than any other larp. It's the only kampaines where the players have skills and the rules are based on skillpoints or or other numbers. Most campaines are somewhat based on withewolf but modified.
Here in my city, we have europes largest vampire campain. It's based on the mascerade edition. I've just started playing a Ventrue.
Do any of you play vampire? larp or roleplay?

I haven't had the chance to try White Wolf's Vampire larp.
I do, however, do his "Werewolf: The Apocalypse", and it's a LOT of fun. heart

I've been roleplaying that system too ^^, but it's much more fun with vampire, the warewlofs are too nice. It's fun to have absolutly no respect of life and just kill for the fun of it. I also like social games more i think, and ther's lots of that in the carmarilla. I'm a Ventrue after all.

Nice. I'm really a huge fan of the White Wolf larps. They are way too much fun for their own good.
..and the books are a lot of fun to read too. heart

yeah, i like the world very much. Right now i'm roleplaying in worl of darkness but as a human. it's really scary sense we're in a ghost town at the moment and have no idea of how to get out. ^^'

It's kind of scary. Our characters is on the point where they have no idea what's dream and what's not. we've been stuck in this ghost town for a while. At night different scary thing try to eat us and at day we see mystical cowboy-dressed guys that can walk on broken floors and disappears suddenly. And we have a somewhat crazy doctor with us that gave my character various drugs too. I suspect the spiders climbing out of the walls and into my body where a work of those drugs, and the man-eating carpet. But we have no idea anymore what's real and not. Plus we are out in the desert so we get delusional pretty easy.
All my character can think of is to get out of this hellhole. We know there is a person living here. we found his condoms, superman comics, cigarettes and a lot of notes in arabic.
I would never want to live in the world of darkness for real.

I've table-topped both Vampire and Werewolf. They were fun, but I don't see how you could LARP them.
I think it would suck to be either a werewolf or vampire, but thats mostly because it takes too much effort to keep alive.

I did werewolf the apocolypse for a while, both the larp and storyteller, but i havent played any of the vampire games

Toge I've table-topped both Vampire and Werewolf. They were fun, but I don't see how you could LARP them. I think it would suck to be either a werewolf or vampire, but thats mostly because it takes too much effort to keep alive. In swedish vampire larps you don't really mind the fact that you're a vampire. It's mostly about intruiging to get the throne. You've got some powers but most of the game is just about talking, making friends and plotting to bring down your enemies. In the end it's a mind game about who can predict oters actions and take adwantage from it. And of cource the is some action on the street with the bruha and gangrel but that is mostly table-top roleplayed i think. Not all of it though. You use powers to control oters, read minds and fight. But most of this never occures sence if you used a power the elders would be angry and the elders can get everything they want without using powers.
