Story

People have always found entertainment in various ways; television, video games, computers. What about before that? Back in the days of Rome, alot of entertainment was found at the colliseum. Battles were held there, battles to the death. Now, a similiar form of entertainment is returning. The only difference is the new technology. There are limitless weapons and terrains to battle on. Earth is under the control of an alien race and forced to battle. The Earth is a battlefield and if you don't have a weapon with you, you're done for. It's a battle for your life, will your survive?

Rules

It's a battle arena but it's an entire world, so feel free to do what you want. Roam around at your own risk.

Nobody's invincible, and nobody can avoid every attack. If somebody refuses a battle, don't harass them. By semi-literate and don't complain about other's actions.

Star was one of a series of mechas, designed to look almost human in order to blend seamlessly with their competition. Being one of the first, Star was endowed with properties that were clearly not human, but blended well enough all the same.

She is shy, and though involved in battles, she will only take on an opponent if she feels she must, if they are weaker, or several others (including herself) are in danger because of them.

her wings grant her a rather large jump, and she's speedier than most mechs, but she lacks in power and her attacks tend to take a while to store up for. Being mostly beams, they have a limited plain of accuracy.

*She followed him..hidden, as she was accustomed. She was designed for stealth, and had yet to break the habit she had been programmed to do. She hadn't been active long enough to know, not everyone likes being followed*

*The rain drops fell hard on her ears, so she wiggled them, along with her wings, if only to keep herself warm*

*Now hanging in a tree, still watching as he makes his way* *her eyes are wide, full of curiousity, everything about her still gathering data she needs to function*

*She flaps her wings a little more, fending off the rain, before dissapearing again into the branches*

*She has finally reached some trees close to the building, but too far to gain data efficiantly* *her eyes spark with determination, and summoning all the strength in her artificial wings, she darts across, landing on the protrusion*

*Silently she hangs her head over to get a better veiw, then looks in the direction he is looking, trying to figure out what he sees*

'No target in sight, falling water, plant life...does not compute' *this and several other random bits of information run through her mind* *finally, having no answer, she simply sits down, placing her wings close around her*

*She simply looked back at him blankly, though seemed surprised at his reaction* *She had never met a human since activation, all around her had been blurry shapes, a neverending flow of engineers with identical clothing. Naturally, she didn't know how to respond, gathering the social abilities she had noted in her travels, she spoke up*

"H-Hello.."
