Recently on CBC Television (Canada) there was a program that was home audience interactive that tested your IQ. The studio audience was divided into 7 groups: Millionaires, Surgeons, Tattoo Artists, Radio DJ's, Fitness Instructors, Celebrities & Mayor's. Each group included people from across Canada. As well you could play online.
The questions were based on Memory, Logic, Math and English with a total of 60 questions.
My IQ came out as 108 with the average IQ being between 90 - 100. My husband's came out at 136 and my teenage daughter at 100.
The program is going on for 1 month. Last week the Surgeons came out on top with the Millionaires only 1 point behind, the Tattoo Artists were last. The person with the highest IQ in the studio was a Millionaire.
My questions are:
arrow Are these tests a valid way of proving how smart someone is?
arrow Does your chosen profession make a difference?
arrow Does your gender make a difference?
arrow Does where you live make a difference?
arrow Could someone be book smart but not common sense smart and vice versa?
