    sitting in her Latin class.

Now about this you have to know something: Moon's school is bigger than a lot of colleges, so naturally, it's a perfect place to ship exchange students to and from.

So in my Latin class we already have two, a Spanish and German, exchange students.
Which is fun and all, only I'm sure they hate me.

Today, however, we got more of them.
    Four more, to be precise.
    All German.
All who bubbled around me blabbering IN German about whatever they're saying in German that I don't understand because I don't SPEAK German.
Plus, I think the very FIRST girl German exchange student that we had before the others showed up hates me and is out to tell them that I'm a mean and terrible person and that I smell bad, or something.

So as of now, I think I'll keep score.

The German kids are cliqish and intimidating, and all speak in German which I don't understand.
    Germans: 1.

Moon got to work with one of the semi-cute German boys, and he's really nice when he speaks English and I know what's going on.
    Moon: 1.

From what I've seen, most international students tend to stick
with each other, especially if they natively speak the same
language, so it's probably not just them who are "cliqish".

I don't mind when there's people around me speaking different
languages that I don't know. I'm quite used to that by now.

Perhaps if you're worried that they won't like you because of
that first girl who you think doesn't like you, then you should
just approach them and try to be friendly and welcoming. It's
not really all that fun being a stranger in a foreign country,
especially if the two countries have had some..."differences"
in the past.

I remember when I was first planning on telling my mom I
had imagined that she'd say some pretty bad stuff about
the place and it's people. But she didn't, so it's all good. She
was actually very encouraging and said that she'd try to put
some money away for me and stuff. (:

But yeah. If after you try to get to know them and you still
get the same vibes from them, then they probably don't
care, are arrogant, whatever, so you can ignore them then. xD

I would but ALAS, they weren't here today.
    Or yesterday.
My heart like ripped in two.

I like how the only (new) thing you hear these days echoing in the halls (besides the mundane cliquish high school drama) is something about The German Exchange Students.
They walk our school like gods sent from the heavens for the semester.

My friend has Latin first period, and she said she had other German boys visit her too, and all the guys in the class looked really pissed cause all the girls were like PANTING at the Germans.
    xDD

    Don't blame them.
    (:
