Samhain (Pronounced "SOW-WIN") is another name for the band that Danzig started during the death of the Misfits.
I liked the band Danzig a little, but when they changed to Samhain it brought me totally back into Glenn's career.

Ever heard them?
Had enough of Danzig? lol

My dad used to take German. He gave me a huge lecture about how great a language it is.
Eventually he heard my stereo playing and he asked me who it was. I said "Samhain" and he flipped with joy thinking I became interested in the lesson he gave me. lol

Although samhain and danzig are the same band, I tend to dissagree a bit. He did change the name to danzig, but there was a definite and clear style change. I myself think Samhain was danzigs best work out of all of his bands.

I love Samhain.
My brother let me borrow a DVD of a live performance in Hollywood in 88.
I watch it all the time.
