Let's share some information! If a traveler was interested in going to the places that you've been, what would you tell them? This is a thread to post reviews, rants, raves, loves, hates, likes, and dislikes of the cities/states/countries that you've been to (that you can remember.)
Please inculde the following information:
Name of Event/Place/City/State/ or Country: How Long Were You There/How Long Have You Been There?: What Do You Like About It (If Anything): What Do You Dislike About It (If Anything): Would You Ever Go There Again?: Would You Ever Want To Live There?: What Are The People Like There?: What Tourist Attractions, Events, Activities, etc. In That Area Would You Recommend?: Any Other Information That You Think Would Be Helpful To Travelers: Link(s), Map(s), & Or Picture(s) Of The Area?:

Here's my list:
Name of Place: Steuben County, New York, USA
How Long Were You There/How Long Have You Been There?:
What Do You Like About It (If Anything): I love it there! It's so beautiful - of all the places in the world that I've been, it is one of the most beautiful. The air and water are fresh and clean. In the spring and summer, it is a land of lush, green, tree-covered hills and trickling streams, rich with wildlife and plants. In the fall, the trees are set aflame with autumn colors. In spring and summer, these are the sounds that you here all over the county: winds softly blowing, water flowing (the county is criss-crossed all over with many little streams and rivers), and the chirping of birds. It's heavenly!
What Do You Dislike About It (If Anything):
> The winter! It's cold, snowy, and bleak! > It's a really rural area, so there's not too much to do except spend time outdoors, hiking, picking berries and such.
Would You Ever Go There Again?:
Yes! I have lots of relatives there, and it's so beautiful there during the spring, summer, and fall. ^_^
Would You Ever Want To Live There?: Probably not ... it's too cold there in the winter for my liking ... also, with the exception of outdoor activities, there's not too much to do there. It makes a great vacation spot in the spring and summer though!
What Are The People Like There?:
What Tourist Attractions, Events, Activities, etc. In That Area Would You Recommend?:
Any Other Information That You Think Would Be Helpful To Travelers:
Link(s), Map(s), & Or Picture(s) Of The Area?: ..........................
This post is incomplete, I'll finish it later. sad

Name of Event/Place/City/State/ or Country: Denmark
How Long Were You There/How Long Have You Been There?: Three weeks
What Do You Like About It (If Anything): It has some really beautiful old buildings, and amazing castles. The country scenery is adorable, and the people there are super friendly! Not to mention that most are English speaking, if you can't speak Danish.
What Do You Dislike About It (If Anything): It rains a lot, some people don't like reain. (I do.)
Would You Ever Go There Again?: Of course! I'm going to go there for a month in August!
Would You Ever Want To Live There?: I've been begging my parents to serously consider moving there. whee
What Are The People Like There?: I guess it depends on the person, but mostly everyone there is really kind, and more than once we needed help with directions, and they helped us out.
What Tourist Attractions, Events, Activities, etc. In That Area Would You Recommend?: I traveled to whole country (It is very tiny) so if you are planning on doing that, then I would reccommend going to Tivoli, in Copenhavn. There is also Legoland in Denmark, (I don't exactly remember where that is), and there are lots of cabins for rent. There was one that was a whole park/resort thing of cabins, and exclusively for the cabin renters, there was a pool and waterslide inside a glass dome. It was beautiful and luxerious!
Any Other Information That You Think Would Be Helpful To Travelers: Well, not really. Maybe renting a bicycle would be a good idea?
Link(s), Map(s), & Or Picture(s) Of The Area?: none yet...

Name of Event/Place/City/State/ or Country: Kyoto, Japan How Long Were You There/How Long Have You Been There?: July 8 - August 7 2003 and One week last July. What Do You Like About It (If Anything): The tradition in general. As the old capital of Japan there are many temples and palaces in the area, including the old Imperial palace. What Do You Dislike About It (If Anything): I've yet to find anything I dislike. Would You Ever Go There Again?: Gladly. Would You Ever Want To Live There?: For sure! What Are The People Like There?: For the most part, very friendly. It's got a lot of tourist traffic, so they're pretty accustomed to foreigners, but you should still act politely. What Tourist Attractions, Events, Activities, etc. In That Area Would You Recommend?: By far, Kinkakuji (The Golden Pavilion) and Ginkakuji (The Silver Pavilion), Nijo (the old Imperial Palace), Kiyomizudera. There's a festival in July, but I can't remember it's name. Very awesome. Any Other Information That You Think Would Be Helpful To Travelers: Though there's a lot of English around because of the amount of tourists, it's a good idea to have at least conversational knowledge of Japanese. It goes a long way in getting the population to warm to you. Link(s), Map(s), & Or Picture(s) Of The Area?: I can upload a few later.
