Okay, so there is NO STORY HERE YET! It's sort of somewhere in my huge pile of notes. But there is an idea. And art that I will put up later. Note- This story occured because the author thinks that Victorian dresses were hot and there needs to be more art of them. So she drew some girls in Victorian dresses. And then she thought that the girls were giving each other a really sketchy look in the first picture, so she drew them dancing together, thus the title.

Also inspired by the Rule of the Rose story on this forum.

IDEA - Elizabeth is going to be married to Sir Myles, and she's quite happy about it. Really. She promises she is. What? You don't believe her? Whyever not?

The story is made of diary entries by Elizabeth and her handmaid, Maybelle, a few letters, their thoughts, and short scenes (usually about 5 sentences) The scenes are in the third person and just describe their interactions. The diary enties show their thoughts. I don't think there will be many letters, I was only planning on one, but the characters might comment on a note/letter they received. Other people will eventually be involved. You will end up seeing the journal of Elizabeth's parents and Sir Myles, dialouges between various characters, and other things like that.

Basically, I wanted to make a story comprised of very short segments focusing on various people. There'll be a lot of different POVs and different writing styles, and it will be almost choppy because scene changes will be very frequent.

So yeah. Good? No?

Interesting. I'm glad my story inspired you. And wish you all the luck.

Your story sounds like a mix of my Rose fic and Morbid tales, which deals with a Victorian Nobel and her maid and a girl dressed as a newspaper boy. Depending on how you do it it could come out really well, I tell you working in Diary or letter entries into a story is not as easy as it seems. With Rule of the Rose I actually wrote all the letters before even beginning the story and then formed the details around the letters. I'm not sure if this style of writing will work for you, but I hope it does.

Well good luck
