Route 4
A small route between Mt.Moon and Cerulean City. Route four is much like route three in the poke'mon that it carries and like route three it's made up of small climbs and rocky ledges leading from the mountain down into the city. To walk from the cave itself into the city it takes a good four hours. Riding a poke'mon is a bit dangerous in this area as it still has steep slides and rocky ledges. Horse-type mounts are not well suited for this area. Biking is also a bit difficult. It's best to hoof it.
Area Poke'mon
Pidgey [Ranging from LV.5-10 | Very Common | 3 Poke'ball Cost] Pidgey are non-aggressive poke'mon that normally travel in small flocks. In this area, Pidgey are rather common. They migrate to this route because of the paras in which they feed upon. Occasionally, the paras wonder from the cave in search of dew to drink during the morning hours and mushrooms in the damper areas just near the mouth of the cave, pidgey are very fond of paras and are most commonly found in the morning hunting for them.
Rattata Ranging from LV. 4-8 | Very Common | 2 Poke'ball Cost]Rattata are another poke'mon that has taken over the area. They're found inside the mouth of the cave and about. They enjoy feeding from the roots of the small plants that grow around the mouth of the cave and among the rocks. Occasionally , rattata can be seen following the flocks of pidgey in hopes of picking off the mushrooms from a paras' back after the pidgey has had its fill of the meat.
Spearow [Ranging from LV.6-12 | Uncommon | 5 Poke'ball Cost]Spearow are naturally aggressive and rival the pidgey. Though they're lower in number, spearow murders (flocks) are terribly territorial and it's not common that the poke'mon attack trainers and other poke'mon that come too close to their territory. It's also been known for spearow flocks to destroy whole flocks of pidgey over territory or over a paras kill as both poke'mon highly enjoy the bug-type poke'mon.
Sandshrew [ Ranging from LV.4-8 | Uncommon | 5 Poke'ball Cost ]Sandshrew are only seen at night or on very cloudy days when the light from the sun isn't present to damage their eyes. Sandshrew enjoy feeding from the roots of the nearby trees growing from the rocks and enjoy the occasional nut. They're relatively peaceful Poke'mon, slinking off at the first sign of danger so even if one's spotted it'll be difficult to capture.
Ekans [ Ranging from Lv.3-7 | UNcommon | 6 Poke'ball Cost ]Ekans are terribly dangerous poke'mon. Though they're not aggressive towards trainers right off, if they're cornered or it they're disturbed they've been known to attack and bite- which, if left untreated, could mean permanent paralysis on the trainer or even death. Ekans survive easily in the dry climate among the rocks and can often be found sunning themselves in the heat of the day. They are the dominant predator in the area though they do have their run-ins with the aggressive spearow. Ekans feed mainly off the eggs of pidgey and spearow but they are also fond of rattata.
