Route 4

A small route between Mt.Moon and Cerulean City. Route four is much like route three in the poke'mon that it carries and like route three it's made up of small climbs and rocky ledges leading from the mountain down into the city. To walk from the cave itself into the city it takes a good four hours. Riding a poke'mon is a bit dangerous in this area as it still has steep slides and rocky ledges. Horse-type mounts are not well suited for this area. Biking is also a bit difficult. It's best to hoof it.

Area Poke'mon

Pidgey [Ranging from LV.5-10 | Very Common | 3 Poke'ball Cost]

Pidgey are non-aggressive poke'mon that normally travel in small flocks. In this area, Pidgey are rather common. They migrate to this route because of the paras in which they feed upon. Occasionally, the paras wonder from the cave in search of dew to drink during the morning hours and mushrooms in the damper areas just near the mouth of the cave, pidgey are very fond of paras and are most commonly found in the morning hunting for them.

Rattata Ranging from LV. 4-8 | Very Common | 2 Poke'ball Cost]

Rattata are another poke'mon that has taken over the area. They're found inside the mouth of the cave and about. They enjoy feeding from the roots of the small plants that grow around the mouth of the cave and among the rocks. Occasionally , rattata can be seen following the flocks of pidgey in hopes of picking off the mushrooms from a paras' back after the pidgey has had its fill of the meat.

Spearow [Ranging from LV.6-12 | Uncommon | 5 Poke'ball Cost]

Spearow are naturally aggressive and rival the pidgey. Though they're lower in number, spearow murders (flocks) are terribly territorial and it's not common that the poke'mon attack trainers and other poke'mon that come too close to their territory. It's also been known for spearow flocks to destroy whole flocks of pidgey over territory or over a paras kill as both poke'mon highly enjoy the bug-type poke'mon.

Sandshrew [ Ranging from LV.4-8 | Uncommon | 5 Poke'ball Cost ]

Sandshrew are only seen at night or on very cloudy days when the light from the sun isn't present to damage their eyes. Sandshrew enjoy feeding from the roots of the nearby trees growing from the rocks and enjoy the occasional nut. They're relatively peaceful Poke'mon, slinking off at the first sign of danger so even if one's spotted it'll be difficult to capture.

Ekans [ Ranging from Lv.3-7 | UNcommon | 6 Poke'ball Cost ]

Ekans are terribly dangerous poke'mon. Though they're not aggressive towards trainers right off, if they're cornered or it they're disturbed they've been known to attack and bite- which, if left untreated, could mean permanent paralysis on the trainer or even death. Ekans survive easily in the dry climate among the rocks and can often be found sunning themselves in the heat of the day. They are the dominant predator in the area though they do have their run-ins with the aggressive spearow. Ekans feed mainly off the eggs of pidgey and spearow but they are also fond of rattata.

Slifer moved out of the darkness of Mt. Moon. He looked around and covered his eyes as the sun hit them. He forgot how light it could get outside. His eyes burned, looking around he grabbed his pokeballs and let all of his pokemon out, so they could run about. His Arcanine slowly shook his mane and ran out in the fields, staying close to Slifer. Slifer smiled as his pokemon enjoyed themselves in the sun. He quickly withdrew them all after half an hour. He saw as his Arcanine and called him over quickly.

As soon as the big fire dog was in reach he grabbed his mane and swung up onto his pokemons back. "Darkfire, head over to the water" Slifer said pointing to the lake over in the distance...

Sao had finally gotten out of those blasted caves and was now outside in the fresh, open air. She smiled as she moved her arm over her eyes to block the sudden barrage of light that hit them. It was a beautiful morning and a good day for camping.
But Sao wouldn't break camp just yet, she still wanted to get away from the mountains a bit before she rested.
Eki didn't want to stop either, as soon as they were out of the caves and Sao made no sign of stopping to rest Eki flapped his great wings and took off into the air. Sao looked up as she walked and smiled, Eki looked like he was having fun, and he wasn't flying off anywhere, just up ahead a bit, turning around, coming back, and then turning around again behind her. He was so high up though his figure was silloetted against the clear blue sky and the golden sun that shinned brightly in it.
Sao hiked practically alone since Eki was flying around high above, but it was peacefull and so she didn't mind it too much. After around two hours of walking Sao found a reasonably sized pond and decided to make camp near it. Eki didn't land when Sao started setting up camp, but circled high above the camp like a vulture.
Soon the camp was set and Sao decided that after spending such a long time inside her pokeballs that some of her pokemon might want to stretch their legs a little and eat.
One by one Sao let her pokemon out of their balls and then started to fix something for them all to eat.
Akisu prefured to sit on Sao's shoulder and watch her cook, that and steal a few little scraps of food that she didn't think Sao would miss too much. The little electric rodent helped Sao too, rummaging around in her pack for some of the ingredients that Sao asked her for.
Nekketsu, not being terribly social, had dissapeared somewhere in the pond and occationally one would see a flash of red under the water or a red fin would break the surface of the pond and then dissapear again.
Shikai took to grazing on the long green grass that grew around the camp and every once in a while would let out a snort or a whinny and then scratch at the ground with one of her black hooves.
After munching on a few juicy earth worms, Tori took off into the air to fly around the camp with Eki, every so often the bird would cry out merrily and continue to fly in circles with the giant fire lizard.
Mina on the other hand had taken a liking to Nekketsu and so had jumped into the pond to swim as well. The little green Dratini would jump out of the water now and then and then would dissapear again with a splash.
Over all the whole camp was peaceful and everyone was enjoying themselves one way or another.
