Well, this an older poem from last winter that I used for Gaia and an assignment in school. It got published in a young poets collection, too.
Life
Life is something we cannot fathom slowly interweaving itself within each and every one of us Giving us hope, Love, Anger, Joy, and prosperity And there are always new ways of how it started Coming to the top of the melting pot, And sitting here, Pondering, and prosing, I reach deep inside myself and I think. I think deeply and never cease everything coming to me in flying colors. Then I stop, and I realize things inside myself that were never touched. I find that we are not meant to reach what life truly is, Until we have faith and, then we will know just a little bit more. But when we reach the other side, Heaven, as I believe, We will know. We will know it all, it will be unleashed upon us! And we will be illuminated, Know what life is and why it is, But as I sit here, I think, I could wait a little more.

Yes, I agree. It was very well-done. I like its optimism. biggrin
