The fact that his voice isn't always suited to their music is balanced by the fact that he can growl like a tiger. He can't just sing, but he can also make interesting sound effects like the "Nyan Nyan" Neko, the "Au au au au" in Jishou (Shounen TERROIST) and even some of the barks in dogma. There are many other examples but these are probably the best ones. Also, unlike other vocalists, Yomi can reach various pitches from deepest of the deep to incredibly high and almost bird-like.
Best example of this that I know of is "Tsubasa o kudasai" where he demonstartes his hig, low, and average pitch.
