The training chambers are a strange room specially designed to deflect the celestial’s attacks. Magical or weapon type of attacks are easily deflected and the access energy that is deflected is absorbed into the crystals to be used as a source of power for the celestials.

There are many forms of training equipment here in the training room. Practice dummies for example ... there are some that are stationary and some that are automated and move back and forth, some even attack back.

There are many forms of weapons here as well, so that if one would wish they can learn to use many types of weapon styles.

Malek walked into the training room for his daily ritual training. although he can freely go between the demon and celestial's territory. they tend to want him to stay at one place for a while. sometimes they try to get information out of him, however he made a promise to both sides's leaders to keep all information found to himself so as not to temp a worse situation between the two sides.

althougth he is still quite young in terms of immortals. he is quite a trustworthy person. he is being taught to fight and battle tactics from both sides. the only thing they are currently worried about is what if he joins the other side and knows all thier tactics. well each side is trying to get him on thier side or at least keep him from going to the other. so he is not spoiled, but is treated quite well by most of them. however there are the few on each side of the war who do no like him or view him as an abombination.

Booted feet slammed rhythmically against the ground as Seraphina hurried down the maze of corridors that led toward the training room. The young celestial was running late, something that was remarkably uncharacteristic for the woman, although Seraphina supposed it happened to the best of them, and something she was sure she wouldn’t hear the end of from Malek.

Dodging around a pair of her kin who appeared as she rounded another corner, shouting apologises over her shoulder, Seraphina finally reached the training room, bursting through the entrance way and skidding to an abrupt halt. Breathing heavily from the prolonged exertion, the celestial bent at the waist and placed her hands upon her knees, continuing to suck in air. Recovering quickly, a feat which left her grateful for her genetics, Seraphina stood and offered Malek a sheepish grin. “Sorry I’m late” she offered, gnawing upon her lower lip, “it’s been one hell of a morning”. Of course she didn’t add that she had been late because she had been busy preparing for their meeting, both in terms of what she would teach him and on a more ‘personal’ level. That she had been asked to help train Malek was surprising, considering she wasn’t as seasoned as many other celestials, and the task was made more difficult by how fast he learnt, not to mention the attraction he caused to well within Seraphina herself. Now is not the time for this!, a voice jolted within her head as her mind began to wander. Focus!, it added sternly. “So, are you ready to start?” the woman asked, watching Malek carefully.

turning quickly to the rather lound entrence of Seraphina Malek righted himself and smirked " Being late isnt like you Sera " he smiled " but i can imagine it was quite a morning if your late so no worries alright? " he grinned knowing that she was almost never late.

standing straight and bowing to her, he stood back up with his hands behind his back. " so ma'am whats on the agenda today?" he asked cocking his head slightly to the right. "i've been practicing what you taught me last time. i'm pretty sure i got it down pat so i think we can move on to something else if you wish ... " although he was quite young compaired to other celestials and demons, he matured quite rapidly and was taught at an early age to show respect to where it was due.

granted for the most part, he tends to be a little more relaxed around Seraphina. it may be the fact that he spends so much time with her training and just talking, however this is uncertain.

Inclining her head in return greeting, Seraphina continued to smile awkwardly. The expression was short lived however, a twinkle of mischief entering into her blue-grey eyes. “So, you really think you’ve got it down?” the woman queried, an amused smirk spreading over her lips. “Care to show me?” Seraphina added, the look remaining upon her features.

Despite holding no doubt regarding the truth of Malek’s claims, the celestial firmly believed in witnessing things for first-hand before simply accepting them as truth – hence training was no exception. This conviction proved troublesome and bothersome at times, but at least it served to ensure, in Malek’s case, that he would thoroughly know all that Seraphina were to teach him.

“If you demonstrate that you perform what I have taught you flawlessly, then we shall move on to having a look at celestial powers; what they are and, most importantly, how to control and use them” the celestial warrior continued, smiling with her contained excitement.

a light smirk came across his face, he raised his hands up cracking his knuckles leaning his head side to side to crack his neck. " fair enough ... i'll use the training dummies to show you i guess ?" he looked over towards one of the dummies resting on its base. " that one should do nicely. " he walked over to it setting it up then stepping back abit.

" i guess i'll start with the basics then work up to the advanced. hmmm ... i guess you'll be able to point out any problems by then eh?" he grins then begins. he first starts with the basic punches and kicks then works his way up to the more advanced moves. chaining his attacks together as well as some throws. although it took a little longer then expected to show her everything she had taught him, he had to be carful not to show the demon style as well. that wasnt what she was teaching him.

taking a deep breath when he was done he turned to look at her then placed a hand on his side. " so? ... how was that?"

Moving off to the side to give Malek all the room that he would need; Seraphina watched as he prepared himself before finally progressing into his demonstration. She was glad that he had raised no protest to her instructions, not that she had expected any, and that was part of what she admired about the hybrid. Although he was likely to possess greater strength then Seraphina, or most celestials for that matter, he still respected them and didn’t hold a ‘I’m stronger and therefore better’ stance.

Observing his presentation was a practiced eyes, the celestial warrior could pinpoint nothing amiss between his fluid and trained movements; ivory looks shifting against her skin as she nodded in approval.

When he had finished she offered him a complimentary smile, clapping her hands as she crossed the floor to stand before him once more. “Very impressive” Seraphina spoke honestly, voice reflecting the sentiments of her words. “I think you are more than ready to extend your training to the use of innate celestial powers” the woman continued, her smile fading as she slipped into her teacher guise. “Tell me, what do you know about celestial powers? Don’t concern yourself with being correct, any understanding you currently have can be built upon once it has been placed in the open” Seraphina instructed, crossing her arms lightly as she awaited an answer.

((I was thinking of having their powers deal with healing and air based phenomenon. Healing is fairly self-explanatory, although it would have to drain the user to ensure there would be no god-modding. As for the air side, I was thinking it could relate to their wings – e.g.: creating strong gusts of wind through beating them rapidly, forming whirlwinds through flying rapidly in an upward spiral, etc. How limiting do you want them to be? Like, would they be able to create energy balls to hurl at enemies or is that getting to extreme?))

with a proud but modest grin he lowers his head a bit to hide his embarrassment as he was blushing abit. although he tried not to let on, he was attracted to Seraphina. however this wasnt just because of her physical looks, her personality always put him in a good mood. " thanks Sera ... " he spoke sheeply " i've been practicing sence you showed me hehe " shruging the nervousness of and looking up at her.

thinking for a moment crossing his arms and useing one hand to discribe when he talked . " celestial powers ... i know many of us can heal others as well as some can use elemental powers ... however i havent really seen much of that. " although Malek never really realized it, he always use the term we or us when talking about celestials or demons. he always saw them as one race, even if the others didnt.

" i'm not overly sure about any other powers that we may have ... i never really been in a situation where they would come into play ... i've never really seen real battle." he shruged and waited for her to explain to him more about it . he was eager to learn however was worried that he wouldnt be able to.

Although it was a source of much frustration, further emphasised by Malek’s tendency to collectively name the celestial and demon species, Seraphina couldn’t deny the power similarities held by the two warring races. “Correct. Many celestials possess elemental powers, air, water, fire and earth, although their presence and strength vary among individuals; the same can be said for other potential abilities – flight, strength, enhanced senses, healing, speed, endurance and regeneration” the celestial confirmed, smiling lightly with pride at how much her student seemed to know.

“The next question becomes whether any of the aforementioned skills have presented themselves in you. It would be best to begin work on something in which you have a natural aptitude, rather than aim blindly in the hopes you possess a particular capability” Seraphina questioned and proceeded to explain, adding – “Most celestials are ordinarily able to heal with too much trouble, and I am assuming that you will be no exception, so if you can think of nothing then we shall begin there”

malek still with his arms crossed though for a moment " well i know i can fly ... i have wings so thats a given ... lets see ... compared to humans i have enhanced strength and speed ... but to what degree i'm not sure, i've never tested it. i have never been seriously injured to know if i have regeneration, but i know my senses are much greater then that of a human." he stoped there for amoment then thought some more, taking his time and seriously thinking about what powers he may or may not be able to use.

" well i'm wondering where i am half demon if i am limited even more about my celestial powers... it is hard to saw weither i can learn certain powers or not. although the demons have similar abilities as well so because i am half i may be more able to use certain powers before others. " looking up at her for a moment. " does that make any sence to you ? cause i think i may have lost myself ... " he gives a sheepish smirk

Having assumed the obvious powers, the ones common to most demons and celestials, were inherent within Malek, Seraphina listened intently for any indication that he had made use of, or believed it possible to utilise, any elemental powers. At his question, the woman gave a slow and deliberate nod and returned his sheepish expression with a soft smile. “You ability to heal others had the potential to be inhibited, as it is a skill possessed solely by celestials, and because of your duel heritage it is more likely you will be proficient in most elemental areas. That having been said, I must admit that it is only a guess, and you could come to possess all powers inherit to both species” Seraphina explained, still holding confidence in her assumption.

After a moment of silence, the woman adopted a rueful smile as she turned on her heels and headed back toward the door. “Let’s go, no rest for the wicked” Seraphina called over her shoulder, allowing Malek a moment to catch up. With that, the celestial retraced her way through the palace on a route that lead ever upwards. Finally, the pair would emerge on the roof; a cool night waiting to greet them and the gentle sound of lapping water reaching their ears.

“Your ability of flight is a given, you said that yourself, but what about speed? Through utilising the power of the wind, natural or self created, we are able to considerable enhance our speed; useful not only in combat, but also for escape should that be called for. But first, I need to see how fast you can move unaided. In the distance, across the lake, there are the beginnings of a forest. I want you to fly to there, bring back a leaf or some such thing to show you were there, and return here. Keep in mind that I will be timing you, which will not only provide me with a general sense of your speed but also allow me to see whether you are making use of Aerokinesis and don’t yet know it. So, whenever you’re ready...” Seraphina instructed, stepping back to give Malek room to take off.

smiling for amoment then taking a deep breath, Malek showed his wings. a fusion of demonic and angelic wings, to show even further his combined heritage. floating up to the air he looked over to Seraphina, as soon as she gave him the signal to go he took off as fast as he could towards the forest. he moved quite fast, and after some time he returned to the palace roof. landing and handning her a tree branch from the tops of one of the trees. he ploped down out of breath taking a moment to rest before looking up at her to see how well he had done.

although it seamed that he did the majority of his flying with his wings, it seamed a bit aparent that his quick turns were done with some other method. perhaps lots of practice, or maybe even some Aerokinesis. Seraphina would be the judge of that. finally catching his breath he stood up to face her again. " so how was that ? " he asked wating for her answer.

Forcing herself to hold back the awe that threatened to enter her expression, Seraphina lowered her arms in a sharp, short movement, indicating for Malek to begin. As he took off the celestial began to count slowly within in her head, ticking off the seconds to minutes that the hybrid’s progressed. Finally, a figure appeared upon the horizon, Malek turning swiftly through the air currents as he sped back toward the palace; landing with practiced ease upon the palace roof and handing a reasonably sized tree branch to Seraphina. “Very good” the young woman enthused, a smile of pride gracing her features as she hefted the severed plant limb in her hands.

Allowing Malek to rest as she assessed his performance, Seraphina drew several conclusions from the piece she had just witnessed. “You performed well” she replied openly and honestly, nodding in confirmation of her words. “Your speed is exceptional, although I doubt you could our manoeuvre Teil quite yet, but it is your ability to turn that interests me. There are superior celestial warriors who cannot, even after an age of practice, turn with such haste, yet other, much younger, soldiers who posses such a skill; they are the ones who hold the power of Aerokinesis. I’ve no doubt that you hold this ability, although it is of yet raw and untrained: but at least now we have a place to begin” Seraphina informed, beaming a delighted smile toward Malek. “Unfortunately however, my prowess in Aerokinesis lies in its use in pseudo-weaponry rather than movements, that’s Teil’s department; so, we can either examine that facet or ask Teil to aide with further training in relation to speed and shifting” the celestial posed, quirking an eyebrow as she waited a decision from Malek.

taking a deep breath and standing to his feet. he smirked, retracted his wings, then crossed his arms. " thank you for the kind words... i have heard Teil was a master of the air elemental ... however i have never thought of asking him to teach me ... i dont really know him overly well as we never talked outside of the occasional hello passing in the hallway." he thought for a moment. " maybe i will ask him to train me if he isnt busy ... hopefully he wont mind ... " looking at her, meeting her eyes. " so what do you mean by pseudo-weaponry hmm? i have no heard that term before."

malek waited quietly to hear he responce. he uncrossed his arms slowly lowering them to his side. relaxing his stature to be more comfortable he took a deep breath and sighed. looking up at the sky he tilted his head slightly. " its getting dark... " he muttered then stretched his limbs. he lowered his gaze back down and caught her eyes once again. although he wasnt intentionally doing this, he had a habit of looking people in the eyes. his own eyes were unearthly, they shimmered in the twilight and almost glowed in the dark. they were a dark blue green in color however sometimes changed with his mood.

“I am sure that he will have no qualms about assisting in your training, although if you wish I can approach him about the subject?” Seraphina suggested quietly, believing Teil would aide in Malek’s training regardless of who asked him. As the hybrid lifted his eyes to hers, the celestial met his gaze unflinchingly as she answered – “Pseudo-weaponry is a phrase I use to describe the ability to draw on Aerokinesis to manipulate air pressure systems, and in turn utilize these in combat to act in a similar fashion as bladed weapons. This is probably needlessly said, but it proves useful when you have, for one reason or another, been unarmed during battle, or should you need to put some distance between yourself and a foe in flight”

Crossing her arms absently over her chest, a response elicited by Malek’s shifting glances; Seraphina gave a faint nod as the man commented on the looming darkness. “Have somewhere to be do you?” Seraphina asked with a soft smile, hinting at the sarcastic nature of her comment.
