What you have to do is go to this address," he hands you a small slip of paper with a number on it, "and clean this person's house. You better watch out though, the Zikkle Kitty they have guarding the house is a bit of a menace and it leaves a lot of stains on the carpet.. good luck!" he leaves dropping some gold and silver coins on the counter of your office desk.

Though he felt a little dubious, Ori decided that he should accept this first job- if for no other reason than to make a good first impression. He felt a little lucky that in that crazy madhouse he called his home, there has been a LOT of Zikkle Kitties. It made it a bit less intimidating, but not entirely. After all, none of them were very mean at all, even if Tadda was a little rude.
Being that he just started working, he had no tools of his own... but fortunately he was able to borrow some for the job. Double-checking the address he set out for the house. "Stains beware," he thought to himself, trying to psyche himself up.

"If you need anything feel free to let me know, I'll be happy to try and help you out. You better get going, you don't want to be late!" Greg opened the door for Ori and waited for him to walk out on his first job.

Ori walked out and arrived at his first job sometime later. Perhaps a little later than he expected, as he wasn't used to hauling around all the cleaning impliments. He double-checked the address then knocked on the door of the house- or looked for any noticed that the door had been unlocked.

A rustling noise in the bushes soon filled the air along with small branches scratching the side windows of the white house. The house gave off an eerie feel but looking through the windows it seemed quite roomy.
"Mrrrrrrooooww!!!" a small kitty yelled, pouncing on Ori. "Hey, what's a squishy thing like yourself doing here?" she asked, hoping it was Greg.

Ori let out a squeak as he was pounced, as he hadn't been expecting things. "Umm, umm-" he fumbled, "I'm here to clean the house," he mumbled as he looked at his borrowed tools. "Greg sent me...?" he added, as though to justify himself. He wondered if this was the mean kitty- and also if he was about to be bitten or something.

"You mean the squishy purple guy like yourself but bigger and older?" she asked, a bit confused on why he didn't come and why he sent Ori. "I'm Cooky and I'm the guard Kitty, it's nice to meet you. You can just walk in if you like, it was nice seeing you."

"Y-yes..." he felt a little flustered as he answered, and cleared his throat so he wouldn't stammer again. "That would be him," he nodded, "Nice to meet you too, Cooky. I'll just go on in now so I can get to, umm, cleaning."
With that he shuffled along inside, taking his tools with him. Wait, THAT couldn't have been the mean kitty, could it have been? Ori felt a little bit of dread- but, well, the prospect of a badly-stained carpet was bad enough as well.

"Cooky! Get away from the janitor I hired! I don't want you scaring him off again." a stern Zikkle Bear opened the door yelling at the small kitty. "Hi there, nice to meet you. Just start whenever you want, I have scrubbers and such under the kitchen sink just in case you need it, thanks again." she said, laying down on the couch. She sounded like she hadn't talked in days and it was quite slurred.

Ori blinked a little- COULD Cooky be the menace he'd been warned about. Ahh well... "Yes mam!" he said to the bear as he hauled his bucket inside and started to work on the carpet.
Luckily there were the scrubbers, as the used one he'd borrowed wasn't working very well. After a few minor setbacks he was busily cleaning, starting from the largest stains and working to the smaller ones- in case he stained a bit with the big ones. He stayed well away from any electronics if he could- after all, for some reason electricity seemed to love him... and he didn't want to fry anything on his first job. Especially with all that cleaner and water in his bucket.
While he busied himself, he wondered about the owner- and came up with the likely theory she probably wasn't feeling well for some reason, hence the job.

"What's your name by the way?" she asked since she hasn't seen Ori before. "I'm Hasue, thanks for coming by the way."
"Mew!" Cooky cried hissing at a local zikkle bunny that was much larger than she was.
"Excuse me for a minute, just keep to your usual duty." she got up and slammed a cup on a counter top. The movement from the cup made the door fling ajar which held many many bad things in it.

"I'm Ori, Miss Hasue," he answered politely while he worked. For a moment he was distracted, glancing towards Cooky as she was raising a fuss... then he jumped a little and let out a tiny "eep" as Hasue slammed the cup down. And, well... the door opening totally ruined his concentration. "W-what's that?" he indicated the room, in spite of himself.

Many cases of unknown liquid and stuff that looked like cotton was scattered everywhere. It'd be best not to say anything and assume it was for the worst..
"Sorry about that.. just clean a few more spots and you can go." she went over to the door and quickly closed it, sitting up and looking a bit more alert.

Deciding he'd be better off not knowing, he quickly goes back to work, shrugging, if a bit twitchily. He wouldn't allow himself to look back to the room... funny, and he'd been warned about the KITTY, not the owner of the house.
Finally he finishes soon after, even if it felt like an hour- only a few minutes passed. Trying not to sound tense, he says, "There- I think the carpet's done. Anything else, Miss Hasue?"

"Hm.. a dusting would be nice.. could you?" she asked as like nothing had happened, "It would be greatly appreciated."
"Hey Mom.. what about me? Don't I get something?" Cooky asked clutching her tummy as she hopped into the house on her back feet.
