All right... I have to bring this up. Who else was/still is a Sailor Moon fan? I watched it every day after school on Cartoon Network in elementary school, and was devastated to learn that when I went to middle school I wouldn't be home in time to see it. Obviously I didn't believe my parents when they said it wouldn't be important to me. xd I used to act it out with two of my friends; one would be Mars, one Moon, and I would be Jupiter. sweatdrop
Last semester I watched Sailor Moon Stars on YouTube, because I heard about it while I was still obsessed and learned it would never come out in the U.S., so I wanted to watch it out of curiousity. It took me a bit to adjust because, even though I hadn't watched SM since elementary school, I was still used to the dubs. I also used to read fanfiction, before even knowing it was fanfiction... Lol!
Sailor Jupiter all the way!

Sailor Moon is a really great anime. It does suck that the Stars season of the series was never dubbed. There were so many stupid reasons for that. I need to finish watching Stars. I think that I keep putting it off because Sailor Moon has always been one of my favorite animes and if I watch the end I feel like I might lose interest in it or something. Hmmm..I don't know.
Who am I kidding? It will always be one of my favorites. The whole relationship between Darien and Serena is so cute. I also like the relationships that the other scouts have. The only problem I have is that the other scouts put their lives on hold for Sailor Moon. What about them? It makes me sad that they will just be around to protect Sailor Moon and her family. Why can't they be happy?

When I finished watching it I went straight to reading fanfictions. xd I wouldn't worry too much about losing interest, especially if it will always be one of your favorites. I don't remember the title, but I read a really good fanfiction set around the Stars where Galaxia kills people off slowly, Mercury turns evil because she's jealous of Darien and Serena's relationship, and Eternal Moon goes back in time to get help from her past self. It was put together well.
In answer to your question as to why can't the scouts be happy, I think they're happy protecting her. I imagine that they also have their own lives, but it just wasn't addressed since that wasn't the plot of the show. Plus, they're her friends, so I guess they really want to protect her. Lol

I am and will always be a sailor moon fan heart I've read the final manga for stars and I still havent watched the anime of it so it makes me sad. I wana see it on youtube but I dont know which one is the first episode of it crying

I haved always loved sailor moon even though they never did the sailor star's dubbed. sad
My fav caracters are Sailor Saturn and Sailor Moon. mrgreen

I dont not know how people can go through their life without knowing what Sailor Moon is or why it is so awesome. I loved it to pieces, I think I have it all on disc though I havent witched it all cause I ended up watching it out of order so it didnt make sense. I love it when Rini goes evil I think she looks cool. I alsways got angry in the episode where they meet up with Sailor Venus and they are wearing normal clthes and she is like whoa we all look so different! I'm like no you all look exactly the same! But I still love it!

That episode where they first met Sailor V and she made that comment cracked me up. I was like, "Huh? Is she blind or something?!" I guess it goes along the lines of the Clark Kent and Superman thing lol.
They were lucky V showed up because she saved their butts.
It is cool when Rini goes evil. It is good when Hotaru goes bad, too. Poor Hotaru and her inner struggle. Saturn and the Mistress of Silence battling inside of her. No wonder that poor kid had so many issues hehe.

I love all of it. XD I especially loved the first season when they all discover that Sailor Moon is the Moon Princess (Hmm... Moon? Moon Princess? Who would've made the connection?!?!) and when everyone discovered Tuxedo Mask's true identity. Rini's so pretty when she goes evil... It'd be great if she wasn't... you know... evil. XD
I miss that series... But I tried watching it a while ago and couldn't stand it... I grew up with the dubs so I tried watching the dubs again and it was tooooo corny, but I couldn't adjust to the subs either. :'(

I never watched Sailor Moon when I was young, and I really wish I had. I started watching it a month ago and ended up watching like 4 episodes a day. >.<
I think it is silly they never aired Sailor Stars... I know the Starlights kind of being trannys and all, but really... it was the best season.
My favorite characters are Haruka, Setsuna, and Rei.

I am watching Sailor Moon again at the moment. Up to the part where Rini is there from the future and Darien is being really cold toward Serena (Yes I am watching the dub! I grew up with it so I dont hate it!) Serena is being all whingy. I love it so much! It is funny because you are just like "How can you not tell! It is so obvious who Rini's mother is you big dolt!"
