Character: Cheshire Cat “Shia”
Age: looks 15
Background: Not much is known about this cat-like female as she appears where she wants to be and disappears at will. She is known to speak in riddles that don’t make much sense at all until what she has foretold comes true. Often found using both hands and feet to stand and prefers to rest in trees. She helps whomever she pleases but tends to get those she helps into trouble as well. For the people who live in and around the Hearts Castle, it is well-known that she had left the duchess, a woman who secretly seems to have something against the queen.
Personality: cat-like, speaks in riddles, seems to enjoy confusing others

Name: Emily, Queen of Spades
Age: 23
Background: A young woman that is often awake at dawn and dusk and sleeps between the two phases. She is best known as the Queen of Spades and is a hard working woman that loves to tend to her garden. Her subjects are split in that they either love her or hate her. Those who love her praise her for her compassion and her love of all life. Those who hate her criticize her for not punishing wrong-doers (leaving it for her husband) and not being strict enough on the rules.
Personality: Loving, Very kind (perhaps too kind), A little naïve
Can usually be found: Spades Castle
Name: Beatrix, White Rabbit
Age: 7
Background: While she looks young, Beatrix’s age is unknown. She is most commonly seen running around in a hurry, late in a meeting to the queen of hearts. While she, herself, is not a white rabbit, she has been called the white rabbit because of the white rabbit doll that she carries around with her everywhere. The rabbit plush is where she keeps her pocket watch, which has no top since she found no need to open and close it constantly.
Personality: has a tendency to be tardy, agrees completely with the Queen of Hearts, has a mature personality despite the immature body

Background:Still a very young women Graceya has learn to use her words correctly and precisely to leave no room for misunderstanding she perfers to be observeing others rather then getting into things herself
Personality: critacl thinker, is kind but often hides it with her coldness,has a sharp tongue but is relatively quite

Character: Rosalyn; March Hare
Age (or age they appear): 16
Background: Not much is known about her, except that she grew up in the Wonderland forests and one day stumbled upon a little garden, tried the tea, and never left.
Personality: Happy-go-lucky, carefree, usually very smiley. Likes tea. Gets along well with the Hatter and Doormouse, but can be annoying to other people. Usually polite enough to the cards. Doesn't leave the tea party very much.
Can usually be found: At the tea party, of course!

Character: Marisa (mah-ree-sah), Queen of Hearts
Age (or age they appear): 24
Background: Marisa had a sheltered childhood, rarely being able to leave the castle, except for guided walks through the gardens. She was also spoiled, getting any toy she wanted, firing anyone she didn't like the look of, things such as that. When she became queen, all of this went with her. The staff in the castle are always on edge, mainly because now she has the power to do much more than simply fire them... "Off with her head!"
Personality: Cold, short-tempered, spoiled. Not one to open up to others, mainly keeps her feelings bottled up until they explode.
Can usually be found: Hearts Castle, usually roaming the gardens.
Character: Alice
Age (or the age they appear): 14
Background: Alice always liked to read the rather... Inlogical books, and it always made her wonder about the books. She entered the wonderland, quite unsure of how she got there, and started exploring, meeting strange things along the way.
Personality: curious, a little logical
Can usually be found: Wandering the wonderland, so basically she can be found anywhere

Character: Kieth, King of Spades
Age (or age they appear): 18
Background: Thomas, Kieth's father died by being shot on 'accident' by one of his soliders on the annual hunt, therefore placing the throne in Keith's hands at an early age (his mother, Terrisa, died at childbirth). Like Emily, his some of his subjects think that Keith is too young to hold the throne, but others think that he could follow in his father's footsteps and hold the place of power without angering the other Card Kingdoms.
Personality: Quiet (doesn't speak much), haughty, patient
Can usually be found: Spades Castle or around his wife, Emily, the Queen of Spades, or the forest

Character: Camden, Jack of Clubs
Age (or age they appear): 20
Background: Nothing about his past is really important, but once he got his position as jack of clubs, Camden took it upon himself to find any information he could and report it to the king and queen. This helps him kill time and be useful, which suits him fine.
Personality: Needs to know everything, but tries not to appear nosy, and is therefore polite most of the time. Always polite to cards of equal or higher satus than he.
Can usually be found: Either reproting to the king or queen of clubs, or searching wonderland for what's what.

Character: Adrian, Red Joker
Age (or age they appear): looks 15, but is much older, at least mentally.
Background: In reality, Adrian came from Alice's world when he was very young, and grew up in Wonderland. He always knew he was different, seperate from the others. Now, he's practically the puppetmaster of Wonderland. Or, he tries to be, He still can't control that pesky little thing called free will...
Personality: You can't tell what he's thinking, but he usually is smiling. Plans things at least one step ahead of everyone else, and needs to be the first to know everything. It helps that he usually is. He doesn't waste words, and likes to get straight to the point.
Can usually be found: Hidden. Sometimes he comes out, maybe talking to a resident of Wonderland, but he never reveals his identity, except to the Cheshire Cat.

Background: Corbin like Marisa was also very spoiled unlike her though he didn't allow it all to go to his head he's more down to earth then his wife
Personality: very laid back about things and often lets his wife deal with things since he'd just get in the way anyway
Can usually be found: makeing sure his wife don't kill everyone in wonderland

Background: Shawn isn't sure excatly where he was born or anything like that but he does remeber traveling and takeing care of himself he now likes to lay back and watch things unfold but if things aren't trun out as he planed he'll fix things to work out as hee see's fit. Though there is nothing in his past tha mad him so agrassive to women he is. He's been since a few years ago around puberty.
Personality: likes to be on the know but also likes to plan everything his way and often thinks of the world as his play toy
Can usually be found: talking to epople and geting info about things no one knows who he really is other then the red joker

Character: Dollie, 5 of Clubs
Age (or age they appear): 15
Background: Dollie was born and raised in the Heart's Kingdom under the present Queen's rule. Her family was never very wealthy, and ever since she was old enough to understand concept, she did any task to help her family out to earn some money. Once, while doing a chore out in the meadow, she caught a slim glimpse for less then a second of the Red Joker... but has been unhealthily in love with him ever since. Now, she'll do almost anything to get a hold of his current location, to see him again. Trading information about the secrets of the Clubs Castle she picked up while tending to the higher cards is hardly a price to pay for the wherebouts of Adrian...
Personality: A very good listener, egar, determinded sometimes to a point of stuborness, somewhat oblivious
Can usually be found: Wandering away from her home, looking around for the Red Joker, the Cheshire Cat, or anybody who knows anything about him.Appearance:
Character: Celia
Age: 16
Background: Celia is the older sister of Alice and has always been quite dark compared to her sister. The older is actually Alice’s half-sister, their father having been in an affair with his mistress, Alice’s mother. Considering this, Celia has never been very fond of her younger sister and used to spend quite a bit of time picking on the sibling. Surprisingly enough, Celia followed Alice into Wonderland but ended up somewhere separate when she went down the rabbit hole. Once in Wonderland, she met up with the Black Rabbit, Vlad.
Personality: Celia is usually seen as a cruel, manipulating person that has barely managed to stay in the human category. There is more to this exterior than first meets the eye, but a barrier of diamond seems to be shielding her heart. For some reason or another, Celia is able to sense malicious nature, making it easier for her to avoid physical conflict.

Character: Vladamir "Vlad", Black Rabbit
Age: unknown
Background: Vlad is a rather intimidating character to look upon. This resident of Wonderland is more animal than any of the other characters that live there. While Vlad can walk upon two feet like a human, his appearance is more of a rabbit’s. The black rabbit never leaves the safety of the darkness that forever coats the forest between the kingdoms, usually staying within the darkest reaches in the southern lands. No one knows how he became how he is but it is said that Vlad angered a past Ace and was once a King of Diamonds. Vlad has become accustomed to living alone but when he comes across Celia, he is surprised that she does not fear him upon sight. He is informed of her special ability and has become determined to find the source of such ability.
Personality: Despite his fearsome appearance, Vlad is a very gentle and kind-hearted person. He wishes to help those around him but is unable to due to his vicious appearance. While being compassionate, Vlad has an inexplicable inability to love anyone or anything.
Can usually be found: Southern Reaches of Wonderland.
Appearance: One on the left with the silver hair.
Character: Emelia (Emi), 8 of Hearts
Age (or age they appear): 12
Background: Emi is the youngest of the three girls known as the princesses of Hearts Castle. None of them are related, but she thinks of Mia and Claire as older sisters. She is nice to pretty much everyone, and loves playing games, especially croquet. She also enjoys card games, but isn't very good at them. She likes to talk to anyone and anything.
Personality: Carefree, childish, innocent, naive, sweet, loving,
Can usually be found: Hanging around in the palace gardens, playing croquet.
Appearance: The one on the right with the green hair.
Character: Mia, 9 of Hearts
Age (or age they appear): 14
Background: Mia is one of the three girls who are informally known as the princesses of the Hearts Castle. She was always the more down-to-earth of the three, and the quietest one, too. She doesn't have as much abmition as Claire. If anything, she would like to work in the castle, or do something requring brains.
Personality: A bookworm, kinder than most heart cards, very interested in the inner working of the castle. Secretly feels like she ought to have been born to one of the other castles, but hasn't told anyone this before.
Can usually be found: In the castle library, or talking to the lower-numbered cards.
Appearance: The blonde in the center.
Character: Claire, the 10 of Hearts
Age (or age they appear): 16
Background: Claire is the eldest of the three princesses of Hearts Castle. Being that she is the eldest of the three, and the fact that she is one of the highest ranked cards, she is convinced that she is next in line for the throne. This is also partly because she takes the informal title rather seriously. She adores Queen Marisa, and aims to be just like her.
Personality: Haughty, snobby, cruel at times, antagonizing, critical, somewhat sadistic. She treats those of higher rank with due respect, and is sometimes nice to the 8 and 9.
Can usually be found: Trying to help the Queen, or bossing around lower-numbered cards.

Character: Niklaus, Jack of Hearts
Age (or age they appear): Teens
Background: Niklaus is the Jack of Hearts and goes by ‘Laus for short. He is also known as the executioner and is the one who carries out all of the queen’s death sentences. While he doesn’t like the king very much for stealing his queen away from him, Niklaus gives the man more respect than Beatrix will. The Jack of Hearts is famous for never wiping his smile off of his face, but when he becomes ungodly furious, the smile is replaced with a look scarier than death. Upon becoming agitated, his smile becomes friendlier, deceiving those who would dare make him angry into a false sense of security. Unlike most Jacks, Niklaus does not have to leave the castle in order to obtain information, as that is the job of the white rabbit.
Personality: seems to be happy most of the time, those who get on his bad side have been known to have very bad things happen to them, coy unless around the queen, dislikes lower cards of any suit but hearts, especially hates other Jacks
Can usually be found: Inside Hearts Castle, mainly around the throne room, library, or his own room
Appearance:
Character: Lyle, Jack of Spades
Age (or age they appear): about 25
Background: Lyle was born into the upper class of the Spades’, and was the old King’s most trustworthy advisor since he was old enough to claim his post as a Jack. He was on the hunting trip when the king was murdered, and has been suspected a few times as the murderer himself. This is true, he did kill the King in hope of replacing the title after the King’s death, but Lyle has denied all accusations. After all, there were no witnesses, and his penalty would be most likely death if he admitted or was found guilty. And who would really believe that the King’s right hand man was the one to kill him? Much to Lyle’s anger, Keith received the throne, but that did not discourage the Jack. He’s been slowly giving more and more orders, demanding more respect, and has even been talking about getting a wife while eyeing the Hearts’ princesses. Some say that Lyle has been recruiting other lower cards that are uncertain about Keith’s reign, and fueling their rage at Keith.
Personality: Demanding, ambitious, unusually calm, sly
Can usually be found: In the Spades’ throne room, sneaking around the Spade’s castle, or out in other Card Kingdoms’ gardens for reasons unknown so far.
Appearance:
Character: Calantha, Queen of Diamonds
Age: 19
Background: Calantha was actually an Ace of Diamonds before she was forced to become Queen of Diamonds. She has never been interested as being a Queen but since she was told to do so or face punishment, she relented into the job. Calantha actually liked someone before the King had forced her into marriage. Despite the risk, she does disappear from time to time in order to see the man she loves. If she’s not busy appeasing the king or being with the one she really loves, the queen actually spends a lot of time doing her old Ace job: acting as a counselor to troubled cards. On a rather unrelated note, Calantha is especially endowed at the chest, which is strange since her mother was as flat as a wall. Her “closet lover” suggests that this is the reason why the King claims to love her.
Personality: submissive, peaceful, seems a little timid, tries to keep others out of trouble

Appearance:
Character: Erik, King of Diamonds
Age (or age they appear): 22
Background: Erik was the son of the previous King and Queen of Diamonds. When his father was "eaten by the Black Rabbit," Erik became somewhat introverted, though this didn't last long. His mother, after announcing that Erik would inherit the throne, killed herself. Though most children would have been devastated, Erik didn't have much time to, as he was immediately flung further into the world of Kings and Queens. Due to being named the next ruler by the previous Queen, he has all of the power a Queen would have, though his official title is King. Erik actually forced the current Queen to marry him. He thought he fell in love with her at first sight, though it could be argued that he simply lusts after her. He hates the Black Rabbit for taking his parents away from him, though a part of him is grateful because if it weren't for what had happened, Erik wouldn't have the power he has.
Personality: Stuck-up, used to getting (almost) everything he wants, independant, cold, cruel at times.
Can usually be found: In his throne room, wandering around the castle, and/or with the Queen.

Character: Alphonse (Al), 7 of Diamonds
Age (or age they appear): 7
Background: Despite how much Al looks like a female, Al is actually a male. Both of his parents carried looks of being rather feminine. Al grew up poorly with rather poor manners. He ran away from his family because his parents kept arguing. While he was still growing up on his own taught himself how to be respectful and generous. Overall his life was rather wonderful and full of adventure. Often he likes to talk about how he learned to make himself apple pie by himself, but many people find him uninteresting. Al is very young for being a 7 of Diamonds. Al loves to draw, explore places and eat when he's not sleeping. Most of the time he is dressed up in pajamas. He rarely wears a sleeping cap and some sleeping slippers, but he wears socks to replace slippers. As a side note, most of the cards in the Diamond Castle think that he has Narcolepsy because he falls asleep on the job most of the time.
Personality: Very lazy, sarcastic, likes to be a liar for excuses and what not, messy, disorganized, can be a sharp kid but most of the times doesn't make sense, childlike, a glutton.
Can usually be found: Around in anybody's room in their bed sleeping, in the kitchen stuffing face, somewhere comfortable and quiet.

Character: Vincent, 10 of Spades
Age (or age they appear): 18
Background: Vincent is the 10 of Spades, and one of Lyle's most obedient followers. He finds what information he can, and is also an assassin for the Jack. However, despite being obedient, Vincent would have no second thoughts about stabbing Lyle in the back- literally or not. Vincent would love to be King, as most cards would, and Lyle is not the only one who's had his eyes on high-numbered female cards from other kingdoms, the ranks of 8 through Jack. Vincent has been secretive about it, also, though he believes he has a better chance of getting one than the Jack. The Ten appears to be loyal to all the cards higher than him.
Personality: Polite and formal, calm, cool, flirty when needed, obedient.
Can usually be found: Spades Castle.

Character: Todd, 4 of Diamonds
Age (or age they appear): about 15
Background: For almost all of Todd's bloodline, it has been their job to clean the countless gems in the Diamonds castle, but Todd himself has never lifted a finger to do it himself. Instead, the boy spends his time away in an old wooden shed behind the stables (which use to store various weapons- but since then it has been long forgotten), where he works on drawing and trying to build inventions, mainly new types of weaopns. This has enraged not only his family, but others in his class, who all say that he's been wasting his life away on these inventions (or half-finished ones, and endless drawings that haven’t even left the paper yet), and will never be reconized, or even help his own family bring bread to the table at night. But Todd works on them anyway, usually staying up through the night, and dozing off through most of the day.
Personality: Smart for his age, hard working if he's interested on what he's working on, but otherwise lazy with most other work
Can usually be found: In the old shed behind the stables, which he calls his ‘workshop.’Appearance:
Character: Yerik, 10 of diamonds
Age (or age they appear): 15
Background: Yerik is alot more calm and quiet compared to his older sisters. He's also very gullible which can get him in trouble a lot of times. Yerik is like his sister Elizabeth in that he likes to help the queen of Diamonds, but he only helps the king when told to by someone else. Yerik would give his life if he knew it was helping someone. He's just a very cute, young and loveable little boy.
Personality: Charming and quiet, very timid, too, but friendly all the same.
Can usually be found: Near Diamonds Castle or exploring.

Character: Elizabeth, Jack of diamonds
Age (or age they appear): 17
Background: Elizabeth has a normal history, but every since she was a child she's wanted to be high up in the rankings. So being the Jack of Diamonds just makes her want to work even harder now that she has reached her goal. Some may call her a suck up because of it, and she often will do anything then the king and/or queen ask her just to get on their good side.
Personality: Happy-go-lucky and very outgoing and nice, there's nearly no one she doesn’t like.
Can usually be found: Helping out the king/queen in any way, making sure her siblings are not getting into trouble.

Character: Isdora, 9 of diamonds
Age (or age they appear): 17
Background: Much unlike her twin, Isdora is more of a rebal then a goody-goody and makes it known. She doesn't care much about doing her jobs and when asked about it she merely brushes it off or starts getting into a spoiled, stuck up, fit.
Personality: Easily ticked off, stuck up, spoiled, and stubborn.
Can usually be found: Slacking off, telling off other people, or making fun of her sister and brother.

Character: Derik, 7 of Diamonds
Age: 21
Background: Derik comes from a rather common background and does not particularly stick out among other cards. He does many different jobs and is famous around the castle for being able to do almost any job. He is extremely intelligent and gentle, preferring the comfort of the library when he is not working. He met with Calantha when she was an Ace and he was 4. The two did not speak very much but after conversation became easy to obtain, they two were very much in love. It broke Derik’s heart when Erik stole Calantha from him, but he didn’t protest. Calantha, who swore she could never love the king, stays in close contact with him and often meets him in the Forest of Jewels at his feeble home. While he somewhat fears what will happen to him if the king finds out, he is more worried about Calantha’s safety.
Personality: gentle, smart, quiet but does not have a weak or shy feeling about him, trys to be logical
Can usually be found: at his home (w/ Calantha), the castle, the castle’s library

Character: Katrina 7 of Spades
Age (or age they appear): 22
Background: Katrina was born to a rather average card family and merely worked hard to obtain her post. Some could say she's the polar opposite of Lyle. She believes he is trying to become King of Spades, and she even suspects that he killed the old king, but having no real proof she just watches and waits for him to one day slip up. Until then, she remains loyal to the present King and Queen. Though, despite being very patient, she is starting to get annoyed with Kieth's inability to get over his father's death.
Personality: Loyal to a fault, brave but not reckless, thinks things through to some extent.
Can usually be found: Keeping a close eye on Lyle and his 'followers', wandering around Spades castle, listening to lower cards and their idle gossip.

Character: Natalia, Ace of Hearts
Age (or age they appear): early 20s
Background: Despite being an Ace, it was clear from Natalia's birth that she was a very gifted child, and she grew up to be very clever and wise. She is still and Ace, but is kept close to the King and Queen as an advisor. Theoretically, she is lower than a Jack but higher than a Ten, but is not treated as such, nor does she wish to be. However, Natalia is madly in love with the King of Hearts. She hides it well, but inside she is infuriated at how he always returns to the Queen no matter how badly he is treated. She hopes that one day the King will decide he's had enough. When that day comes, she will tell him. Because of her feelings, Natalia dislikes the Queen, but she still respects the woman as her superior. She doesn't do a whole lot around the castle, though Natalia does occasionally supervise some of the cards who work there. She tends to feel uncomfortable doing so, as she is technically lower than them, so Natalia tries to avoid it and stick to giving the King and Queen advice when necessary. She finds it much easier to talk to the King than the Queen.
Personality: Intelligent, wise, maternal, quiet, somewhat kind, pleasant under the right circumstances but strict under the wrong ones, humble.

Character: Melissa, Six of Clubs
Age (or age they appear): 18
Background: Melissa was born a six and has been a six her whole life. She would have been a four, but her parents payed for her higher rank. They didn't have enough money for anything more, but she doesn't mind. She has always thought it would be nice to be a higher ranked card, but has never tried for it. She does what is expected of her, and does it happily. She had originally aimed to raise enough money to pay back her parents, but now she is planning to save up for a higher rank for her own daughter, should she ever have one. Melissa is somewhat childish, and is a girly-girl. Her hair is always coming loose, and she is constantly having to tuck it behind her ears. She has never thought of just using hairclips or a headband, and wouldn't like the idea anyway. She likes her name, but doesn't mind being called by any kind of nickname someone can get out of "Melissa," though she may not always respond to wierd ones.
Personality: Cheery, hardworking, a hopeless romantic, girly, giggly.

Character: Alexander Caras, 9 of clubs
Age (or age they appear): 29
Background: Alexander is a hard working card and comes off very strict and professional. He came from a very small family consisting of only him and his parents, both deceased now. His mother died from illness which his father caught and he died soon after his wife. Alex doesn't like bringing up his parents, but the topic doesn't seem to bother him when it is up. When he first met Letha, when he was 16 and a 7, he merely thought of the young 5 as just another idiotic lazy card. It was after running into her a lot that he became somewhat fond of her. The two soon to get along and it seemed that when Letha was around Alexander was a lot more easy to get along with. It has been five years now that the two have been married.
Personality: Calm, stern, strict, over thinks things, level headed.
Can usually be found: In the Club's castle.

Character: Letha Caras, 5 of clubs
Age (or age they appear): 26
Background: Letha came from a very large family. She was the second oldest having one older brother, five baby sisters, and two baby brothers. Letha decided a long time ago she wanted a nice large family too. She also became sort of a dreamer, and childlike person. She always wanted to daydream about her future with a loving husband and bunch of kids, rather than worry about duties. It was no surprise when the young girl started to get into trouble, but she still didn't do much. Then she would toy around with Alexander since he never stopped bothering her. After about a year of their cat and mouse game Letha was surprised to find out that she was now daydreaming of Alexander as her loving husband. She started to be nicer and do her chores when Alex asked her to. Things got even more perfect as time went on and she was happy when he asked for her hand. Letha may not have a bunch of children yet, but for now she is content with her loving husband of her fantasies.
Personality: Air headed, forgetful, clumsy, oblivious.
Can usually be found: Wandering about Club's castle not doing any work.

Character: Darby, Tweedle Dum
Age (or age they appear): 11
Background: Like Adrian, Darby wasn't born in Wonderland. He left his own world too early to have any fond memories (or any memories at all) of it. He was 'raised' in the care of the Mad Hatter and March Hare, but that wasn't really much care at all. They never really closely watched over him, and that allowed Darby to do as he thought reasonable. That didn't stop Darby from living under their influence, though, and can be quite foolish at times. Darby met Red when the other boy his age came to live at the Tea Party, and then Jokers a year ago. Since then, Darby hardly leaves [Dee's] side nowadays, and will follow him where he goes. Darby knows about the Jokers, too, is also 'taught' by them and sometimes is called Tweedle Dum (like the Jokers call Red Tweedle Dee). Darby knows not to talk about Adrian and Shawn when others are around, but has some trouble watching his mouth at times.
Personality: Talkitive, foolish, likes to play around, will laugh at anything
Can usually be found: Anywhere in Wonderland, but most often at the Tea Party.

Age (or age they appear): 11
Background: Red was born in Wonderland, unlike Darby. He thinks he may have been a Spade or a Heart at once (the symbols are so similar in his mind, but the memories are vague), but it doesn't really matter. When he was younger he left whichever castle he belonged to and began to live with the Mad Hatter and March Hare. There, he met Darby. They were 'raised' together, though Red never did get along too well with Darby. However, he has learned to tolerate him, somewhat, thought everyone has their limits. About a year ago, Red and Darby met Adrian and Shawn. Red doesn't know much about the Jokers; they teach him and Darby things; they sometimes refer to them as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, though neither Darby nor Red knows why exactly. Also, Darby and Red both know not to talk about Shawn or Adrian around others.
Personality: Cool, intelligent, a little cocky, sarcastic, somewhat serious at times, likes to play with people, sometimes a bit hot-headed and short-tempered, usually pretty tolerant, mature for his age.
Can usually be found: Anywhere in Wonderland, but most often at the Tea Party.
