Tagrin was a densely populated industrial world in the New Republic before it was invaded twice by the Sycara. Both invasions were beaten back at huge cost to the Republic forces, lead by a young Colonel Tasha Tel'verran. It was on Tagrin she established her reputation for military excellence and formed the basis of her future rebellion.

Tagrin was left crippled by the second invasion and the Republic was forced to withdraw a year later by a third Sycaran army. For 6 years it was ruled by the Sycara, who opressed the local inhabitants for use as cheap labour in their factories.


Following a successful revolution the planet was liberated from the Sycara and was passed into the hands of the Federation. However after ten years or so an election was held and the planet passed to the Imperials in recognition of the losses they sustained in liberating it.

Rebel agents spread the word: the uprising begins tonight

Only a skeleton garrison has been left, a force of some 10,000 Sycaran soldiers as well as 12,000 co-operative human soldiers.

Edson's fleet flashes out of hyperspace. The sight of 6 Imperial star destroyers and many other craft was impressive.

The then fired their turbolasers down apon the Sycran forces on the planet below.

On the bridge of his flag ship, ISD: Dark lord's fist, Edson was ready for almost anything.

Captian Sar walked up to him.
"Sir, Their seems to be a rebellion on the planet below. They call for your aid."
"Right. Send down our invasion force to take the planet."
"It does look like this will be an easy battle. seeing as how the only have a small garrison left."
"But we can't under estimate the Sycra. The have proven quite deadly before, even with small numbers."

Soon Imperial landing craft approached the planet along with AT-AT transports.

TIE fighters were in the air. AT-AT's and other Imperial vehicles were takeing ground from the sycra. Large sections of the planet were now under Imperial control.

The 456th Walker battalion landed in the centeral part of the planet. Once the first walker stepped of the transport, it was greeted by the rebellious civilians of Tagrin.

On board the ISD: The Dark Lord's Fist, Admiral Edson was watching a hologram of the battle on the planet below.

The Admiral then issued a transmition to the Sycra:

-Transmition from the Imperial fleet flag ship-


"This is Admiral Edson of the Galactic Empire. My Emperor wishes for you to be expelled from this planet. And I will do so.

But first I would like to know if you are willing to surrender. If so, there will no longer be harm to your men. Retreat is not an option, because we have an Immobilizer class cruiser. (With gravity wells on)

I only wish for the bloodshed to end. -Edson out"

The resistance forces still outnumbered the Imperial troops and were just as well equipped and trained. Seeing that the Imperials were making short work of the Sycara, they withdrew from the fighting to regain their strength.

Heavy weapons are prepared, and the few tanks the resistance have at their disposal are readied

The Imperials may win the battle with the Sycara but that didn't mean they would get the planet.

After the evac, More and more Imperials were landed down. Finally the takeover was complete. Tagrin lay in Imperial hands.

Imperai intell suggested that there were rebel agents responsible for the rebellion on this planet. So of coarse they Empire was searching for them. But why were they hiding. Were the rebels now agianst the Empire?
