 SummaryThere is more known of space than of the sea, but what is known is that it houses countless Pokemon of every shape and size. Trainers only have access to the world beneath the waves for short periods of time, providing them but a glimpse of the magnificence. Various Legendary Pokemon dwell in the seas that surround Aikou Region, the land being a massive island itself. Rules1. No godmoding.
2. Romance is welcome, anything above PG-13, take it outside of Gaia.
3. Battling is permitted.
4. Follow the Gaia TOS.
5. Diamond/Pearl Generation Pokemon are allowed, but made-ups are not.
6. Post your profile before RPing, please.
7. Be at least semi-literate.
8. NO chatspeak.
9. Please note when speaking out of character (And keep OOC limited).
10. Swearing is allowed, but try to keep it minimal.
11. No advertising please.
12. No one-line posts, please. Try to use at least 3-4 sentences.

Misc.: He's a bit obsessed with working out and becoming stronger, motivated by personal reasons. He is rather unsocial, but is capable of making friends (so long as they're more active than a Slowpoke).

If one were to happen upon a specific section of ocean, they'd believe they'd found an insane Pokemon. This was made believable by Wartortle's swimming in a tight, rapid circles, talking to himself in an unending mantra. However, the turtle Pokemon was perfectly sane, if a bit over-obsessed with physical conditioning. He was currently working to strengthen his swimming power, as well as overcome the effects of dizziness to provide a stronger Rapid Spin attack. His chanting was nothing more than counting the number of "laps" he did. Exercising was his cure for boredom.

A giant whit figure swam gracefully in the deep water of the ocean. Her giant white flipper-like arms moved up and down as if she was flying underwater. The spines on her back were folded down so she could swim with almost no effort and no noise. She saw a Wartortle swimming laps and laughed slightly as she swam upwards toward it.

Wartortle halted in midstroke, a chill running down his shell. His feathery ears twitched as if searching for the source of the feeling. He figured he was being watched, but in an ocean as large as this one providing a home to countless Pokemon, that wasn't exactly surprising. Not requiring a breath of air before submerging, he flipped himself upside-down to see below the waves. With a yelp, he flipped over backwards upon sighting the Lugia. Like any turtle, he had managed to get himself stuck on his back, struggling amongst the waves to right himself before the "Guardian of the Sea" surfaced.

Lugia smiled and chuckled a bit as she reached her arm up and flipped the Wartortle right side up. "Hello, little one." she said in her soft gentle voice. She lifted her head out of the water so only her head and a little part of her neck showed. She smiled warmly at him as she moved her "flippers" slightly to stay up.

Wartortle floundered in the water a moment after Lugia righted him. After managing to correct himself like a proper Water-type, he remained in place by treading water as he gazed up at the legendary creature. Even with her only revealing a small part of her, she still towered over Wartortle, and this thoroughly stunned him. He took a minute to stare in awe before asking the question dancing around his mind, "What's the Guardian doing above water at this time of day? Aren't you worried a trainer will see ya?" The water around him splashed in small waved as he hastily scanned the area for just such a threat.

Lanturn swam and came upon the surface with Mudkip following her. She stopped to look around and saw two shadowed figures on the horizon. Lanturn turned her head to the side and watched as Mudkip jumped out of the water.
"Hey Mudkip, look! Other pokemon!" yelped Lanturn. Midkip turned around and saw the figures. The two haven't been in contact with the other pokemon for a while. Lanturn decided to greet the pokemon. She swam towards the figures with Mudkip floating beside her.
As the pokemon got closer, they began to see clearer and somwhat noticed the "Guardian of the Sea". Mudkip didn't have much experience so he didn't know who the pokemon was. When the pokemon were close enough, Mudkip was amazed at the flying pokemon .

Lugia smiled at the Wartortle. "Don't worry. I'm much faster that ant pokemon trainer and I know these waters much better than them." she said as she chuckled slightly. Lugia turned her head slightly and let her eyes land on two pokemon in the distance when she heard a shout of excitement from them. She smiled at them. Lugia was a very kind and gentle pokemon to other pokemon and trainers, but if any trainer or pokemon threatened the safty of the sea and all of its creatures she would attack with no hesitation.

"Wowww! Who are you?" asked Mudkip. Lanturn nudged Mudkip with her fin, "thats the great Lugia! Lugia is a legendary and is also known as the "guardian of the sea"!" whispered Lanturn. "Huh?" exclaimed Mudkip as he turned back to the Flying pokemon. "Wow, you must be famous or somethin, I'm the only one who doesn't know you" Mudkip told Lugia with a chuckle.

Wartortle blinked at general bafflement at the new arrivals, head tipped to one side in an almost comical fashion. Feathered ears twitched to take in the sound of their voices, as well as the miniscule noises of each one's unique swimming signature. He used this particular technique to help determine friend from foe when tucked in his shell.
With his listening finished, he resumed proper activity by laughing heartily at the little Mudkip. "You don't know the very creature that keeps you safe from humans, little one?" He slapped the water in a show of good spirit, chuckling further.

"Uh, .... no, .... i guess" Mudkip said sounding a little sad. "Well, Lanturn here kinda protects me too!" he said with a cheerful tone. Lanturn giggled and replied, "Well the guardian of the sea protects all of us!"
