Okay in another topic, we were posting poems. So why not make a special place just for poems? Just put the title, followed by the poem ,and if not written by yourself, state the name of the actual author. If you do not know the name just say otherwise.

I wrote this poem last year sweatdrop
A Request
Here it goes, I'm giving what I got Saying what I couldn't say before Expressing all my thoughts
It's still worth a chance Just another try Pushing myself to the limits For just one guy
I have delivered my request I have taken my shot My heart is pounding My stomach in knots
And now I stand here Feeling like I might die Waiting anxiously For your reply.

This was a major venting session. Although I like this poem a lot.
Wasting My Time
I'm living in this so called life. And every minute, ticks by. A time bomb, just waiting to go off. And here I am, sitting in a corner, Crying over the thing I love the most, Wasting my time.
And everyone tells me "Get over it", But words are easier said than done. So I just keep on dwelling on this hopeless wish. Asking every shooting star, For my request. And here I am, Wasting my time.
Some things are better left unsaid, Every moment I dread, away from you, And here I am, looking out the window, Just hoping, things will turn around soon, So I ask myself, Is it worth the wait? But while I contemplate over it, All I'm doing is, Wasting my time.
And now it's dark outside, And all those hidden emotions, Continue to hide. But I know one day, you'll see, About how much, you mean to me, But just thinking of what might happen next, Is probably another story, Of me, Wasting my time.

I wrote this when I began to go out with my current boyfriend. Maybe as a way of hope that I can actually trust this one.
Watch me fall, Fall through the sky, And I'll be hoping you will catch me, Our else I might die.
I'll continuously fall, Not knowing if I'm okay. Just hoping you'd support me So I can fly away.
Fly over the bumps, Disasters that I may meet, And maybe just one day, I'll be back on my feet.
So watch me fall, Fall through the sky, I know I can trust you, Just tell me that you're that guy.

Right so... I don't know how many poems I should post in each post. XD Some of them are better than others.
This one I wrote along with Reminiscence... So it was around the same time frame.
Fading Memories
As the daylight slowly fades I sigh and close the light blue shades I lie back down and judge the day Watch the bright room fade to grey.
I think of what’s been said and done As mem’ries fly by one by one What will happen in the ‘morrow? Will’t be filled with cheer or sorrow?
As I lie, I think and wonder Will my heart be torn asunder? No one knows what is to come But to sad thoughts I shan’t succumb.
-------------------
I wrote this one, trying for free meter... I wanted to experiment... Dunno how good it is. XD
Night
9/8/06
Creeping like a cat Approaches the night Sparkling diamonds fill the sky; An eternal wedding proposal From Father Time to Mother Nature.
How blessed are we To be gifted with such beauty Of an everlasting love, Between two lovers Never to be separated.
Night…
I don't like the whole "Everlasting love, between two lovers" but oh well. XD

This is a poem that i wrote just today ^^ Opportunities
Opportunities are windows Sometimes they are wide open Lots of Opportunities Sometimes they are open a little smidge Only a few chances Sometimes they are stiffly closed No Opportunities You can grab something small out of it Maybe a bird or two You can grab something big out of it Maybe a bunch of flowers or two Sometimes they will be open day and night Plenty of time to choose your road Sometimes open only a few seconds And you need to hurry Before it slams shut Sometimes it only opens once in your life And if you don't take that chance quick You will be VERY MISERABLE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!!! Haha! I like your poem, Sora!
Here's another of my poems. Written, you guessed it, when it was raining!
Rain
9/13/06
The patter of little animal feet Fills my ears. A breeze passes through the room The feeling of newness follows. It smells of damp soil and wet leaves The sun sets, but we do not see it.
Didn't like it as much, but I was trying to achieve the feeling that I get whenever it rains...
------------------- This one I wrote when I was angry at the world. XD
Shh
9/14/06
There is no need for the supernatural. Invisibility dominates my life. Everything must be under wraps. Shh… It’s a secret.
It does not lie only with you. Invisibility is prevalent everywhere. Certain situations demand certain reactions. Shh… It’s a secret.
Avoiding interrogation is the focus: the goal. Why are they so domineering? Time and time again, I must hide my feelings. Shh… It’s a secret.

Let me say first that I LOVE Phantom of the Opera. I wrote this poem in June of last year, and it's based on what might be going through Christine's head as she ran onto the roof in the snow after the Phantom killed the man during the ballet. So, without further ado...
On the Roof of the Opera House
The icy night strikes my face, Like my thoughts he knows he can't erase But even still in his embrace, I'm afraid. So afraid...
I hear him whisper in my ear: "Christine, he cannot find you here." Still, I hear the nightmare drawing near... He's watching me. Always watching...
I hear our song still in the air, recoiling as his wretched face did bare, He loves me, but still I despair... I can't refuse him. He would kill me.
"Christine," I hear Raoul's voice come through, "I won't let him harm you; I vow to ensue. I love you, my angel, this much is true." "Love me, that's all I ask of you."

This is my newest poem I wrote for my boyfriend 2 days ago.
Rather than beginning a sudden story, I'd prefer going on a directionless journey with you. Let each day be a brand new adventure, Create each path without a clue.
Make sure each page is action packed, Remember each and every detail, Take the reader for a ride, And I'll assure you will prevail
All the events will follow up to ending, And soon, everything will be forgotten; A new world slowly fading away, Something that happens way too often.
But each story is different, And they sometimes continue on with a sequel. So plan your story out carefully, And just maybe we can written out as an equal.
