You could also get your bodyguard to protect the Leader / Main Camp.

I finally figured out how to beat Lubu without leveling up your character. Simply attack him before he can hit you, if he blocks do not use your max amount of attacks cause he'll be able to hit back, but if you keep attacking and whenever he doesn't block you hit him with a combo of squares followed by triangles you can defeat him even if your guy has not been leveled up. You all probly figured that out already but I'm so excited I had to post it.

Hey, I know i'm not in the guild yet, but i requested to be in it. Just my little "strategy" for killing people in a jiffy or defeating hard bosses and such:
Defeating many people at once:
-run around and get enemies' attention
- run to a spot where they all follow
- let them catch up to you
- attack (normally) three times then use a charged attack
that usually kills alotta people in one set (if you use it right)
Killing hard bosses:
- lure the officers around him away, one by one
- kill off the officer, then run back and get another
- once all lower rank officers are done, kill off all the infantry
- once all (or most) infantry is killed, head for the big guy
you all probably know of or have already done this, but it's very helpful, it gets annoying when your attacking someone and someone else comes up behind you and attacks you
now here's 2 very simple and common strategies for defeating whoever:
=Hit and Run - hit the enemy(s) a number of time then run off and let them follow, then turn around and repeat.
=Magic Mayhem - simply get a pretty fair/safe distance from enemy(s) and repeatedly use magic spell (preferably the first charged attack, no normal attacks added) and by the time they get to you, the magic hits them.
well, i doubt it really helped any of you, but just a little something to consider next time your fighting Lu Bu or someone else.

haha.....it works......unless you're playing chaos mode. in that, I had my friend always stay next to me and we took out Lu Bu (with the help of 3 other officers of course)
