Fetch
This isn't really a poem. It's more like something I wrote for fun. I love Snoopy, so I started writing these. Tell me what you think ^_^
Snoopy- Sometimes things aren't as they seem. I've just been following blindly for all this time. And I didn't even know.
Woodstock- Well, you have to stop being a follower. You don't have to lead, just don't run after it without knowing if it's out there.
Snoopy- But, I have to get it. It's put in front of my eyes and I suddenly can't control myself.
Woodstock- You have to reason with yourself. If you don't have control and an inner reasoning, you'll never be able to........
Charlie Brown- Snoopy!
Snoopy- Woodstock, You have to help me! I won't be able to find it, nor will I be able to stop searching. I'm like a slave!
Woodstock- You can do this! Grasp your mind and make yourself unaffected by this! Snoopy, tell yourself! Tell yourself!.......
Charlie Brown- Fetch!
(Charlie Brown pretends to throw the ball and Snoopy runs out into the field to find it.)
Snoopy- I can't find it. (He begins to cry) Why are you doing this to me!?!
Woodstock- And thus proves my theory. People have birds because they like to see something beautiful and intelligent. We're like a race of free spirits. People have dogs because they like to play with something dumber than themselves.
(It ends with snoopy still looking for the ball, Charlie Brown holding the ball and laughing, with Woodstock looking on.)

I have a special place in my heart for the Peanuts Gang.
Charles M. Shculz often brought up topics of conversation that would end up reflecting upon themselves.
I'm not sure you can call Snoopy a fallower type of persona though....
